We read in the gospel of Luke that Tiberius Caesar was reigning during the time that Pontius Pilate sentenced Jesus Christ to death, and in the 15th year of that reign the word of God came to John the Baptist. Pretty important stuff, I would say, and all taking place during a time when bible prophecy was coming to pass by the bucket load. Why are we talking about Tiberius Caesar? Because they just named the federal government's new COVID-19 vaccine tracking system after him, that's why.

Palantir Helps HHS Develop ‘Tiberius’ System to Track COVID-19 Vaccine Production, Distribution
FROM GOVCONWIRE: Palantir Technologies is working on software for a new system that could help federal health officials track the production, administration and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
The Tiberius system would collect data from federal agencies, local and state governments, pharmaceutical firms and distributors and enable health officials “to integrate a wide range of demographic, employment and public health data sets to identify the location of priority populations” and make decisions when it comes to allocating vaccine doses, according to documents obtained by the publication.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Health and Human Services said the system adopts the same software running on HHS Protect, a data collection and analysis platform from Palantir and is used by HHS to track hospital data related to COVID-19 patients. The spokeswoman added that Tiberius will not cover personally identifiable information.
The development of the new system comes as U.S. health officials start planning for vaccine distribution as early as November. Palantir went public through a direct listing in September and got a valuation of approximately $21B in its trading debut. READ MORE
