Early Tuesday morning, Air Force jets were scrambled and the entire area surrounding the White House was put on lockdown due to an unidentified flying object that hovered over the White House and moved at speeds far beyond that of the US Air Force jets. This happened around 8:30 AM yesterday, and the lockdown stayed in effect for about 30 minutes. Now this story by itself is a mildly amusing anomaly until you recall how back in September US Navy spokesman made a statement concerning the existence of UFOs, and the testimony of highly-decorated Air Force pilot Ryan Graves personal testimony of chasing UFOs and being unable to catch up with them. But security personnel are only supposed to stay at Air Con Orange for a few minutes, before either upgrading the alert or downgrading the problem. Neither occurred with Tuesday morning’s alert, but Capitol Police sent a notification of a potential threat shortly after 8:30 a.m. People were allowed back in after about 30 minutes. Law enforcement sources initially told Fox News the lockdown was triggered after an aircraft moving east violated restricted airspace.
