We journey back to visit the Genesis 6 giants in the days of Noah, where we learn about Enoch and the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.
Genesis 6 is one of the most disputed chapters in the entire bible, for it is filled with mind-blowing subject matter that 6,000 years later is still too hot for most people to touch. For it is there that we read about the fall of angels, in
the days of Noah, who came down and had sex with human women, spawning a creation called the Nephilim that was so wicked and so vile that it caused God to wipe out the entire world with a flood. It is the stuff of myth and legend, only it's all 100% true, and getting ready to happen again. It is also there we see the very first example in type of the
Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.
"And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." Genesis 6:1,2,5 (KJB)
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we pay a visit to the Genesis 6 giants, the nephilim in the days of Noah, because they are getting ready to make a reappearance in our day. How do we know this? Because Jesus in Matthew 24 says that the coming
time of Jacob's trouble, which contains the Great Tribulation on the back half of those 7 years, will be just like it was in the days of Noah. The days of Noah was many things, it was the nephilim, it was fallen angels fornicating with human woman, it was a worldwide flood, and it was Enoch.

That's right, Enoch. The bible tells us that Enoch was a righteous man highly favored by God, so much so that God removed him from off the earth in a one-man rapture that immediately precedes the days of Noah. Jude in the New Testament tells us that Enoch was a fiery preacher who prophesied of the Second Coming. Put it all together and what do you have? You have sitting there in the very beginning of the Old Testament the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church and the time of Jacob's trouble, in perfect typology that is rendered into prophecy by the mouth of Jesus in the New Testament. Ecclesiastes tells us that the "thing that hath been, it is that which shall be", and that is absolutely the case with Genesis 6.
