“Like Something Out Of The Book Of Exodus”: Locust Armies Are Devouring Entire Farms In Kenya “In As Little As 30 Seconds”
Make no mistake about it, swarms of locusts are a biblical plague as recorded for us in the Bible, and the current outbreak in Africa and the Middle East is leading people to wonder if this was sent by the hand of God. So intense are the locusts, estimated to be in the billions of insects, that stunned farmers are watching their entire farm being consumed sometimes as fast as 30 seconds or less. Just image how many locusts there would need to be to eat an entire farm in under a minute. That's what's happening right now.
"And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left. And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such." Exodus 10:12-14 (KJB)
If you are a regular reader of NTEB, then you know from all the reporting we bring you that things are indeed heating up, prophetically speaking. The
professing Christian Church is lukewarm, as Jesus said it would be in Revelation, most Christians are
ignorant of Bible doctrine as Paul says they will be in 2 Timothy 4, and the earth appears to be groaning in pain as we read about in Romans 8. In just the then years since we started this site, events are coming much more frequently and much closer together. The book of Exodus is careful to tell us that the plague of locusts mentioned in Exodus was the greatest swarm that would ever exist, but boy oh boy, it's sure coming close.
Pray for these people, that God would lift the locusts and that the gospel of the grace of God would be allowed to come in.
The locusts are so bad in some parts of Kenya that entire fields of crops are being devoured in as little as 30 seconds.
FROM EOTAD: Locust armies numbering in the billions are absolutely ravaging large portions of eastern Africa and vast stretches of the Middle East. We are being told that these locust armies
“are unprecedented in size and scope”, which means that we have never seen anything like this before. And as you will see below, the UN continues to warn that the number of locusts could get “500 times bigger” by June. But even if this plague ended right now, millions of people would still be facing a devastating famine in the months ahead. These locusts travel in swarms up to 40 miles wide, each one can eat the equivalent of its own body weight every day, and the swarms can travel close to 100 miles in a 24 hour period. This is a nightmare of epic proportions, and it is just getting started.
East Africa is in the midst of a crisis that sounds like something out of the Book of Exodus: A plague of locusts is spreading across the region, threatening the food supply of tens of millions. City-sized swarms of the dreaded pests are wreaking havoc as they descend on crops and pasturelands, devouring everything in a matter of hours. The scale of the locust outbreak, which now affects seven East African countries, is like nothing in recent memory.
Some of the largest swarms are actually bigger than any city on the entire planet, and when they arrive in an area they start going to work immediately.

Moses Omondi, a program officer at Farm Radio, a charity that works with to bring information and news to farmers, says that in Kitui County, in eastern Kenya, there were no locusts this time last week. Now, entire farms have been destroyed.
Could you imagine working extremely hard on a farm all year long and then seeing it completely consumed by locusts in less than a minute?
