An Update on Brian
Many of you will know that Brian was quite seriously ill last year, following complications with diabetes and severe ulcers on his feet and legs, and he eventually had to have the middle three toes removed from his left foot.
The ulcers on his feet and legs are very slowly healing. Brian has been using some special sandals to help him walk again, and good progress has been made (with a walker). It is hoped that he will be able to use normal shoes again eventually, and that he will be out of the wheelchair more often.
However, the largest ulcer, which goes up his left leg from the ankle, is only healing very slowly and the wound needs regular soaking and special dressing, both by Gilly and also the nurses who visit. It has recently been getting very painful again and we ask that you stand with Brian and continue to pray for swift healing and a relief from the intense pain, which can be very persistent, both night and day. Thank you so very much.
Gilly and Natalie
As many will also know, it is thought that Brian's wife Gilly had a gallstone recently, and she suffered much pain with that. However, it has been confirmed that it passed successfully and she is in no more pain, Hallelujah! Again, many thanks to those who knew and prayed for her.
Their daughter Natalie in the States had a mastectomy following breast cancer but the very good news is that she had an MRI scan recently and is now completely clear and is signed off and the MS is also currently inactive. So some very good news. Praise the Lord!
Thank you all for your concern and prayers and we hope to see and share fellowship with many of you at the Conferences, if not before.
Conferences in May and November
We saw some wonderful answers to prayer and Brian was able to come and minister at Matlock, as planned, last November and we had a precious time. Details for obtaining MP3s of the sessions are below.
Brian is planning to be at the Conference booked for Cromer at the beginning of May, and also to return to Matlock for a Conference during the last week of November this year.
At Cromer he is expected to be speaking on 'The Future Before Us (then into the Millennium and Eternity)' for about five sessions and Jonathan Hill is expected to follow up on the material that he has shared before, relating to his two books. Richard Golding (who has helped with the praise and worship and shared two Devotions at Matlock) will also take one session, expected to be on 'The Bride Makes Herself Ready', so we are in for a good time.
Details of Conferences
Details and booking forms for both Conferences are available and we recommend early booking - particularly for Cromer, as there are very limited en-suite rooms and a Singles Conference is also going on the same week and rooms are being booked by delegates for that as well.
Request forms by emailing Brian at briangemmell@hotmail.com.
We do expect lovely times of fellowship and ministry at both places again, so don't miss out! Please print off the forms you receive and send the right-hand section to Anne Powell, as indicated, as soon as you can to ensure a place. Thank you.
Previous Studies on MP3
The sessions at Matlock last year are being made available as MP3s by e-mail and also on a CD-ROM. Please contact Brian by email (as above) to order a form with full details if you would like to hear any of these. Thank you.
