Palestinians Celebrate Terror...Again

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for the international community to condemn the Palestinan Leadership's condoning of terrorism and its praise for for those who kill Israel civilians after a bloody weekend saw two pairs of Israeli parents attacked by Palestinian terrorists.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for the international community to condemn the Palestinan Leadership's condoning of terrorism and its praise for for those who kill Israel civilians after a bloody weekend saw two pairs of Israeli parents attacked by Palestinian terrorists.
After gunmen killed the first couple, Eitam and Na’ama Henkin in a drive-by ambush near Alon More (in front of their four children), a second couple and their two-year old child were knifed in the Old City of Jerusalem Saturday night by another Palestinian terrorist on their way to the Western Wall. The father has since succuembed to his wounds.
What is finally getting world attention is not only the violent act itself but the horrific response of the Palestinian community to such acts.
Adelle Banita-Bennett, now the widow of Aharon Banita-Bennett who died of his wounds describes the horrific attack, “I ran for dozens of meters with a knife in my shoulder, bleeding. Arabs in the area who saw this horrible scene clapped and laughed, and told that they hoped for my quick death. I felt I was about to faint,” she said. “I tried to hold on to someone who passed by, and they just shook me off and kicked me, and said 'die.'”
When news of the attacks reached the Palestinian populace there was celebrations by the hundreds in the streets with the waving of flags, fireworks and the traditional handing out of candy for the murder of innocent Jews.
Palestinian social media networks also lit up with the “ecstatic” news about the killings. Palestinian social media has become one of the most virulent propagators of incitement on every level including the official pages of Fatah and Hamas.
Rival Palestinian terror group Hamas also applauded the attack and referred to the shooting as a “heroic operation.”
The Palestinian leadership's response to these attacks was not surprisingly, to blame Israel. After both the Palestinian terrorists were shot dead for their attacks the PA condemned Israel for its “policy of escalation", making no mention of the fact these assailants were shot as a result of their knife attacks on innocent Jewish civilians.
Arabic news service Al Jazarrea joined in the PA propoganda with it's misleading headline:
“Palestinian shot dead after fatal stabbing in Jerusalem; 2 Israeli victims also killed".
According to PA propoganda all Jews are legitmiate targets, including the two-year old infant who was knifed.
General Sultan Abu Al-Einen (who serves as Abbas' adviser on NGOs') not only praised the attack but called for more attacks on Israelis.
Sadly, these deaths should not shock a culture that names its streets, parks and even summer camps after terrorists and educates its children with tv programming that refers to Jews as "apes" and "pigs" while teaching children the glory of martyrdom.
These celebrations are the natural result of a populace that has been brainwashed from infanthood by it's schools, music, literature, entertainment, social media and political leadership to blame the Jew for all Palestinian woes.
The Palestinian leadership promotoes terrorists to serve as role models to the next generation - terror and murder become the Palestinian’s ticket to fame, honor and glory. In fact the terrorists honored most highly are those who have killed the greatest number.
Palistian Media Watch reports how "Abd Al-Baset Udeh, killer of 30 at the Passover Seder massacre, had a soccer tournament for 14-year-olds named for him. His brother was honored with distributing the trophies. Dalal Mughrabi, terrorist bus hijacker (led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history in 1978, when she and other terrorists killed 37 civilians, 12 of them children) has had summer camps, schools, graduation ceremonies and sporting events named for her, as well as many TV documentaries honoring her".
This culture of incitement and hate is a regular part of the Palestinian leadership's method of control over it's population. Without accepting and participating in such hatred you will not fit into mainstream Palestinian culture which shows why a recent poll indicated 57% want a return to armed resistance.
Many fear these attacks could be the start of a much wider campaign of terror. Is it any surprise when the Palestinian leadership spits out a steady stream of incitement.
Here are but a few examples recently tracked by Palestian Media Watch:

Prime Minister Bejamin Netayanu has warned for years that Palestinian incitement had to stop for peace to move forward. Yet with each new attack Israel receives the brunt of world pressure to make concessions to the Palestinians.
The EU was quick to issue a statement of greviance for the violence but then link it to the necessity of giving the Palestinians their own state. Meanwhile Palestinian incitement remains unabated.
The conflict could best be summed up by another incident this weekend when Palestinians attacked an Israeli ambulance carrying a patient in critical condition. The patient? A Palestinian stabbed by a Palestinian who thought he was a Jew.
