A public menorah in the London borough of Camden was vandalised and thrown to the ground, but the Rabbi responsible for placing the menorah for Hanukkah says, “we will not surrender to darkness.”
“I’m the Rabbi who worked so hard to put this Menorah as a symbol of light. It breaks my heart to see it vandalized. I promise to put this Menorah again every Hanukkah ,we will never surrender to darkness.”

BBC urged to apologise for unfounded ‘anti-Muslim slur’ claim against Jewish victim of bus horrorThe BBC is being urged to apologise to the Jewish community for adding unfounded allegations that an anti-Semitic attack against Jewish children on a London bus last week included an anti-Muslim slur by one victims.
The claims, which were unilaterally added by the BBC after the original report, have been lambasted by Jewish groups and others who have pointed out that it was being mistaken with appeals for help in the Hebrew language.
