Dear Friends,
I write this on behalf of Brian and Gilly to thank you all for your support and prayers, and for such a lovely time of friendship, sharing, togetherness, fellowship and ministry we had in our great gathering in the Derby Dales at the end of last month.
There are many who have helped Brian and Gilly over the years in the midst of some real opposition, and many of them were with us at Matlock to say “thank you” to. Our time in the Peak District gave us just another “wee glimpse” of the love, sharing and enjoyment experienced by the true Church of God before we are Raptured to the Heavenly Places far above all!
We started by assembling on Monday evening for the first of several splendid meal and fellowship times in the late 18th Century Willersley Castle (pictured above), now converted into a superb Country Mansion Grade II Listed Hotel situated above the River Derwent in the delightful village of Cromford, just outside of Matlock.
What followed was an absolute delight, and I will be writing more in another piece to come later. But for now we have to give some special praise to Jonathan Hill for his marvellous ministry, pictured here with Brian and Gilly.
Many Thanks to Anne Powell who organised the Teaching Retreat and Keith Cline who introduced most of the events amongst many other things (both captured in the photo below, as is Brian). There is a clearer picture of Keith in the right hand column, and there is also one of me and several other supporters not seen here in these pictures.
We had a fantastic long testimony from Amrik Johal (more of this in a later article), and we also had the ebullient Jan Ryan who just loves to "photo bomb" the piccies as you can see!
There was a lovely piece from Grace Paine as seen below (daughter of Frank Paine) with a tribute to her father and the importance of The Balfour Declaration and other significant dates
And we had many other marvellous moments in our week which we titled "The Overall Sovereign Plan Of God For The World And Our Personal Plan And How To Discover It". The whole event was recorded and details are available in an article further down this blog, and they are great value for money.
So dear friends, be blessed by our great God and Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ, and we look forward to seeing many of you again at Cromer in May (see advert below).
Neville.
