CANCELLATION OF OUR EARLY WINTER CONFERENCE RETREAT AT HARROGATE IN NOVEMBER.

Dear Friends,

Further to my recent posting, I am very sorry to report that we have had to cancel our early winter conference in November at the St George Hotel in Harrogate (pictured below), as the bookings were on the low side and the hotel could not guarantee to hold the necessary rooms we required to make the venture financially feasible.

We have already cancelled our two tentative conference bookings at Eastbourne and Bath for differing reasons, in an attempt to leave us with two viable options, one in the north and one in the south. The northern retreat was to be the one in Harrogate in November, and the southern location will be in Bournemouth in March 2016.

To have sufficient numbers to make the conferences viable, we do need early notifications of intent to attend, as the hotels concerned quickly get filled, and cannot retain a "temporary booking" for very long!

We have loved using the Christian Endeavour Centres in Saltburn, Cromer, North Wales, and the Isle of Wight over the years, but sadly the CE places are all closing at the end of the year! Here is a picture of the Savoy Hotel in Bournemouth which we will be using for the first time in March next year:

My good friend Anne Powell will either refund the deposits to those who have paid in advance, or transfer their money to our next booking. So, looking ahead to Bournemouth in March next year, please book early via Anne at her email address at anne.powell31@btinternet.com
in order to avoid another conference cancellation.

In summary:

NOW CANCELLED - St George Hotel in Harrogate from 23-27 November 2015. Full address is 1, Ripon Road, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG1 2SY, Telephone: 01423 561431.

Savoy Hotel in Bournemouth from 14th-18th March 2016. Full address is West Hill Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH2 5EJ, Telephone: 01202 294241.

Look forward very much to seeing you all again.

Please contact me or Anne if you need further details and clarification.

Maranatha Blessings,

Brian.
