An example of what the Antichrist will look like by Daniel Knezacek (Jan 19th).
There is a politician in the world today who exemplifies the way the Antichrist will behave, at least in the early stages of his reign.
Would you think I am talking about B. Hussein Obama? Well, actually no. Lots of people speculate that Obama is the antichrist, but he is too divisive to be that person. America is more divided now than it was in 2009 when Obama took over. Obama specializes in pitting people against each other. This is not a characteristic of the biblical Antichrist.

How about the pope? I hear lots of people saying that pope Francis is the Antichrist, or at least the false prophet. The pope is very Antichrist-like, to be sure, but he is not the Antichrist, nor the biblical false prophet, of Revelation 13:11. The false prophet comes our of the “land” which is a reference to Israel. He is Satan’s attempt to get Israel to worship the Antichrist, and thus needs to have a Jewish background in order to have credibility with Israel, and Jews.
The pope is also very divisive, and many of his pronouncements have alienated many conservative Roman Catholics against their leader!

No, the pope may be A false prophet, but he is not THE false prophet, nor the Antichrist.
As I have said in “The Spirit of Prophecy” the pope is a stand-in for the false prophet. Satan is creating a villain, in the pope, so he can be destroyed to distract attention from the real False Prophet, and Antichrist. He is a decoy, and a dupe.
You can also expect that Satan will set up some world leader to take the fall for the Antichrist. Because of what Christians have been saying about the Antichrist we can expect this person will most likely come from Rome, Italy, or at least the EU or some successor to the EU. He will be another decoy.
But, there is a world politician today who is a better fit with the Antichrist, than either Obama or pope Francis; General al Sisi of Egypt.

Please don’t get me wrong; I am not saying that al Sisi is the actual Antichrist. Not at all. I am only saying that his character is more like the Antichrist, than anyone else I can think of.
General Al Sisi is a unifier, and is smarter than just about any political leader in the west. He is also kind to minorities.
As Raymond Ibrahim noted in a recent article about al Sisi, during a Christmas meeting in St. Mark Cathedral, a Coptic Church, he was constantly met with cries of “We love you!” and “Hand in hand!” from the Christians at that Church. Al Sisi is the first Egyptian leader to have entered a Christian Church at Christmas.
This is the kind of welcome the Antichrist will receive around the world!
And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. Daniel 8:25
And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom:but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. Daniel 11:21
The Antichrist, the Beast, shall conquer the world with peace, not through war. He will come in by being charming, and kind, and behind-the-scenes-manipulation, and will only show his true colours at the mid-point of the Tribulaton, after he has consolidated his power. By then it will be too late, of course.
I know this is confusing to some but there will be at least two major wars before the Tribulation begins; Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39. These are Church-Age wars, and in the aftermath of these major destructive wars, the Antichrist will come bearing an olive branch, and shall promise peace.
Like al Sisi, the Antichrist will have a Muslim background, and in the same way, he will disregard the laws of his father’s God; Shariah!
To Christians this is a good thing! Shariah is very evil, but I believe it was created for the same purpose that Satan created the Roman Catholic Church; to distract the world from the greater evil which is coming. Can the Antichrist’s rejection of Shariah be found in the bible? Yes it is! You can see it in Daniel 11:37
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. 37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
Notice that verses 36-37 separate “the God of his fathers” from “the God of gods”. The god of his fathers is a monotheistic god, who is not the God of gods; not the God of the bible. The best guess would be the god of the Qur’an, known as Allah.
He will take over at a time when the world is recovering from the Gog/Magog war, when only one in six of the invading soldiers returns home.
And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: Ezekiel 39:2
The attacking nations of Ezekiel 38-39 are almost entirely Muslim, and when they return home they will expect to be able to marry multiple wives, as has been a practice in that part of the world since ancient times. This time, however, a governor, or administrator, shall be appointed who will prohibit this practise.
This event will be met by applause from western Christians, but what they will not realize is that they are applauding the Antichrist!

A lot of Christians, even western Christians, like what they see in al Sisi. A lot of Muslims like him too, and even a lot of Jews like him. After the barbarism of the Muslim Brotherhood, he is like a breath of fresh air! He is a man who could make Egypt great again, and a light of tolerance to the world! (Lucifer means “light bringer”)
After saying this, I must reiterate; No I do not think al Sisi is the Antichrist. He’s more like a dress-rehearsal, and I think it is likely that he will be deposed by the Muslim Brotherhood, and/or ISIS, before the Psalm 83 war.
The truth is that I like what I see in al Sisi! When we see the Antichrist, at first, we will like what we see; Only discernment from the Holy Spirit will show us who he really is!
The real Antichrist will come from the little nation of Jordan, but he will be a lot like al Sisi, at least in the early stages of his reign.
