According to Lebanese media sources, the Israel Air Force attacked an electronic broadcasting station near the town of Al-Fouaar, east of the southern Lebanese town Tyre on Sunday night.
The report said that around 10:30 p.m., a number of Israeli war planes bombed the facility and destroyed it completely.
According to the Lebanese news outlet An-Nahar, Hezbollah officials arrived at the site and shut it down, even before the Lebanese army arrived.
Hezbollah's TV network Al-Manar denied the reports, claiming that the noise of the explosion was actually caused by a stun grenade exploding, causing no damage or casualties.
The Israel Defense Forces had no comment on the reported incident.
The reports come several days after a widely reported but unacknowledged strike by Israeli jets on targets inside Syria believed to be advanced surface-to-air missiles as well as a chemical and biological weapons research center.
