I wonder if May 14th has been chosen as it is the anniversary date of the establishment of Israel as a nation state in 1948.
We have just seen the world-wide demonstration by school children asking for world leaders to act on the matter of climate change so as to save the planet. In all this there is a growing denial of God being in charge of His creation and working out His plan and purposes as the bible tells us. We are surely seeing the spirits of antichrist working together on a huge scale.
The Telegraph commented that as "pupils and teachers downed tools to join the climate strike, as reported by the BBC with 'all the love and affirmation of a proud parent' Jeremy Corben said to the crowds, ’Thank you for being here, for teaching me and everybody else a lesson about the environment!’” The Telegraph went on to say, "It is never a good sign when adults defer to children and when angry placards become a manifesto for government.” ( climate-strike-joke-childish-socialism-wont-help-environment )
The Pope appointed September 1st as the ‘World day of Prayer for the Care of Creation’ suggesting all this is on God’s agenda, then yesterday, Saturday, September 21 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the UN Youth Climate Summit, reportedly, "a platform for young leaders who are driving climate action to showcase their solutions at the United Nations, and to meaningfully engage with decision-makers on the defining issue of our time,” was held as part of a weekend of events leading up to the UN Secretary-General's Climate Action Summit this Monday, September 23 2019
Pope Francis has made many calls for environmental protection and has clashed over climate change with sceptic leaders such as Donald Trump, who has taken the United States out of the Paris accord.
Now Donald Trump is set to attend the United Nations headquarters during Monday’s key summit on the climate crisis – but will be there to take part in a meeting on religious freedom instead.
The White House has booked one of the large conference rooms in the New York headquarters for this coming Monday so that the president can address a gathering on religious freedom. The Guardian reported that the move is likely to be seen as a blatant snub to the UN climate summit, to be held in the same building on the same day. Leaders from around the world, including the UK prime minister, Boris Johnson; France’s president, Emmanuel Macron; and India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi, are expected at the summit as part of a major UN push to heighten the response to the escalating climate crisis. Something is surely happening that perhaps we have not yet fully woken up to. And where does Brexit and all that is developing in the Middle East fit into all this, for surely it does!?
