Thoughts on Today’s Verse

Our God and heavenly Father deserves our ongoing and eternal love and praise, because He has shown Himself to be a God Who cares for His people, and Who delivers them out of all their difficulties. He hears those that call on His name. He delivers His people from all their fears and He comforts those that are encompassed with sadness and disappointments.

God is no respecter of persons, for He hears the cries of the poor man and His eyes are open to the way of the righteous. He is close to those that fear His name, while His face opposes those that are quick to do evil. In His goodness and grace the Lord delivers those that are being abused, and helps those that are pursued by their enemies. Down through centuries of time, the truth that is encapsulated within this Psalm, has been a comfort and help to many of God’s hurting people.

The comforting words in this Psalm were written by David.. after he escaped from the hands of his enemies. Having been anointed of God to be Israel’s king.. David was being hotly pursued by the jealous king Saul, whose loathing of David had reached boiling point. David had to flee for his life and even sought refuge from Israel’s bitter enemies – the Philistines! But fearing that they also might try to kill him, David managed to escape by dribbling down his beard and pretending to have gone crazy in the head!

I will bless the Lord at all times, was David’s grateful testimony to his deliverance.. I will continually bless the Lord.. His praise shall always be in my mouth. My soul shall boast in the Lord and the humble will hear of it and be glad. A thread of hope and praise weaves its way through these verses, as a declaration of God’s grace and loving-kindness to those that call on His name, and are humble in heart. And although He does not always keep His children away from their troubles and trials, the Lord is willing and able to draw close to all of His people.. as they go through life’s various difficulties and dangers.

The Lord will not break a bruised reed.. nor will He quench a smoking flax, for He is always close to the broken-hearted. He binds up their wounds and offers salvation to those that trust in Him. He travels with them through the valley of the shadow of death, and no one who puts their faith in Him will ever be disappointed.

In His goodness and grace He sent the Lord Jesus to preach good tidings of great joy to those that are meek; to bind up the broken-hearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of prison-gates to them that are bound by sin and death. And in His loving-kindness and great mercy He has given us His written word.. with testimonies of His grace towards His people, and the eternal truth of the glorious gospel of grace – that whosever shall call on the name of the Lord, will be saved.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are near to the broken-hearted and close to all who are crushed in spirit. Thank You for the testimony of the saints, that You are a faithful God, Whose mercies are new every morning. How we praise You, for You are a witness to Your Word – that You are a God.. Who not only saves but keeps and helps and comforts and provides for all who are called by Your name – thank You in Jesus name, AMEN

Pro-Palestinian Islamic Heads the Women’s March

Linda Sarsour is a National Co-Chair of the Women's March on Washington, which took place on January 21, 2017, one day after the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America.

Sarsour is a Palestinian-American activist who is the executive director of the Arab American Association of New York. This group will receive $10 million over the next five years, awarded to them by the Mayor of New York City. [Link] Sarsour is very vocal about her support for Palestine and her utter hatred for Israel.

She was recently spotted at a large Muslim convention in Chicago posing for pictures with an accused financier for Hamas, the terrorist group. In 2016, Sarsour endorsed Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders for President of the United States, and attended the Democratic Convention as a delegate from the State of New York.

The women in this march celebrate abortion on demand at any stage of pregnancy. o pro-life feminists were allowed. Yet, the Islamic National Co-Chair, Sarsour, and her Muslim brethren have an average of 6.2 children per family. Their goal is to outnumber Jews and Christians via population growth. n Obama White House “Champion of Change,” Sarsour spoke at the 15th annual convention of the Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America.

While there, she posed for a picture with Salah Sarsour, a member of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and former Hamas operative who was jailed in Israel in the 1990s because of his alleged work for the terrorist group.

Linda Sarsour is very active on Twitter. She is pro Sharia law, and a couple of her tweets even have a seditious tone to them where she romanticizes Sharia law and hints at it taking over America whereby we would have interest free loans. (Islamists do not pay interest on loans). She tweeted a  picture of American women tying on hijabs in solidarity with Islam.

So, women of America, how do you like the fact that the organizer of your march advocates for Shariah Law, has ties to the terrorist group, Hamas, is considered a second class citizen because she’s a Muslim woman, and is leading your pro-rights Women’s March?

 Kelleigh Nelson has been researching the Christian right and their connections to the left, the new age, and cults since 1975. Formerly an executive producer for three different national radio talk show hosts, she was adept at finding and scheduling a variety of wonderful guests for her radio hosts.

She and her husband live in Knoxville, TN, and she has owned her own wholesale commercial bakery since 1990. Prior to moving to Tennessee, Kelleigh was marketing communications and advertising manager for a fortune 100 company in Ohio. The land claimed by Israel is smaller than the state of Rhode Island. In comparison to the Arab Middle East, Israel is like a single piece of sod on a football field.

Carrying the analogy further, imagine that one team has to defend that single piece of sod from an opposing team that outnumbers them 650 to 1.

The other team, claiming unfair advantage, is demanding the single piece of sod be divided and half of it be awarded to them.

The referees agree, and penalize the defending team for refusing to concede half of its 1/6th of one percent of the field to the opposition [that outnumbers them 650 to one]. The crowd loudly boos the defenders.

That is roughly analogous to the rules of engagement under which the Middle East conflict is being played out.
