Pope Francis described the influx of migrants into Europe as an 'Arab invasion' before explaining that the new arrivals will enhance Europe for the better. 

The pontiff was giving a speech to an audience of French Christians when he reflected on Europe's history of migration and the positive impact it has had on its culture today.

He described the migrant crisis as 'a social fact' before explaining the change will help Europe in the future by making it more multi-cultural, according to Bloomberg.

Pope Francis referred to an 'Arab invasion' when he was recalling the moments of mass migration to Europe in history, according the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano.

'Today we can talk about an Arab invasion. It is a social fact,' he told his audience.

The pope went on to explain that the arrival of migrants, predominantly from Syria and Iraq, should be seen from a wider perspective in time and impact.

He insisted Europe will 'go forward and find itself enhanced by the exchange among cultures.'

Speaking proudly of Europe, the Pope declared that the continent 'can bring about a certain unity to the world.'

The news comes as Greek's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras accused Austria and other Balkan countries of 'ruining Europe'

The number of Syrians seeking asylum doubled to 362,800 last year while the growing number of Iraqi nationals has now reached 121,500, the European Commission said today.

The news comes as Greek's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras accused Austria and other Balkan countries of 'ruining Europe' by imposing border restrictions.

The restrictions have been designed to try to slow the flow of migrants heading north from Greece.

Austria angered Greece by not inviting it to a meeting of Balkan leaders in Vienna last week to coordinate a slew of border restrictions. 

Some 30,000 migrants are now stranded in Greece, waiting for Macedonia to reopen its border so they can continue their northward trek, mostly to Germany.

'What those countries agreed on and decided goes against all of the rules and against the whole of Europe and we regard it as unfriendly,' Tsipras told Germany's mass-selling Bild newspaper in an interview due to be published on Saturday. 

Tsipras urged his European Union partners to reject unilateral measures at a summit in Brussels on Monday. The summit will discuss progress on protecting the EU's external borders and helping Greece to cope with the influx of migrants, who mostly arrive by sea from Turkey.

'The situation is difficult but not out of control,' Tsipras said. 'We have fulfilled more than 100 percent of our commitments, whereas others have not even fulfilled 10 percent and prefer to criticise us.'

Germany, which has taken in more than a million migrants in the past year, strongly backs mandatory migrant quotas for all EU member states, but some countries, especially in former communist eastern Europe, are opposed to them.

Shock Poll: Growing Number Of Americans View Christianity As Extremist

Are you a religious extremist?  For years, world leaders have been endlessly proclaiming that we need to eradicate "extremism", but what actually is "extremism"?

Many would point to the ISIS jihadists over in the Middle East that are beheading people that don t agree with them as examples of religious extremists, and I think that very few people would argue with that.  But our politicians (especially the liberal ones) rarely use the term "Islamic terrorists" anymore.  Instead, they tend to use the term "religious extremists", and that has a much, much broader connotation.  In fact, if you are a Bible-believing Christian, you are probably included in that category.

Most Bible-believing Christians would never think of themselves as being similar to radical jihadists in the Middle East, but that is precisely how many of their fellow Americans very them.  The Barna Group has just released a shocking new study which found that 45 percent of all "non-religious" Americans believe that "Christianity is extremist"...

The perception that the Christian faith is extreme is now firmly entrenched among the nation s non-Christians. A full forty-five percent of atheists, agnostics, and religiously unaffiliated in America agree with the statement "Christianity is extremist." Almost as troubling is the fact that only 14 percent of atheists and agnostics strongly disagree that Christianity is extremist. The remaining four in ten (41%) disagree only somewhat. So even non-Christians who are reluctant to fully label Christianity as extremist, still harbor some hesitations and negative perceptions toward the religion.

Even more troubling is what the study discovered about how the general population views specific religious activities.  There has been a tremendous shift in society, and behaviors that were considered to be completely mainstream a few decades ago are now considered to be extremism .

If you have ever participated in any of the activities listed in category 1 or category 2, you are a "religious extremist" according to most Americans.

Of course every single one of the behaviors in category 2 would potentially apply to me, so I guess that would make me an extremist according to this definition.

This is where our society is heading.  Of course "Christian extremists" are not normally put into prison in the United States quite yet, but hatred toward our faith in rapidly rising in society.  Church attendance is dropping like a rock, the Christian faith is relentlessly mocked in movies and on television, and incidents of hostility toward Christians have doubled over the past three years.

And the truth is that even the federal government and the military are rapidly turning against Bible-believing Christians.  For example, the slide that I have posted below comes from a U.S. Army Reserve Equal Opportunity training brief that described Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism as examples of "religious extremism"...

Once this came out, there was a huge uproar and some people got into trouble over this.  But it should be exceedingly alarming to people of faith that U.S. military personnel were being trained that evangelical Christians are on the same level as the Ku Klux Klan.

And of course this is far from the only example of this phenomenon.  In fact, Christians have regularly been described as "extremists" and "potential terrorists" in official U.S. government documents since the day that Barack Obama first stepped into the White House.

There is a systematic attempt by the radical leftists that dominate our society to demonize Bible-believing Christians.  They want to portray us as "religious extremists" that are just as dangerous as ISIS is.

Given enough time, they would not just come after us with words.  Throughout history, we have seen the same thing happen with so many other groups.  First they were marginalized, then they were demonized, then they were criminalized, and then ultimately they were marked for elimination.

If you are a Bible-believing Christian, you need to get ready for intense persecution, because it is most definitely heading our way.

Israeli Catholic Church Blames Israel for Ongoing Terror

The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, representative of the Catholic Church in the capital city, blamed Israel on Thursday for the wave of terror plaguing the region since October.

The Patriarchate’s “Commission for Justice and Peace” released the statement. The Commission is part of the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries, a panel made up of several Catholic clerics in Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Jordan, and Cyprus.

The Patriarchate’s remarks slamming its host country amounted to little more than a familiar slew of Palestinian propaganda. The group’s claims referred to Israel’s “siege of the rest of Palestine”; military checkpoints; house demolitions; “and the arbitrary behavior of Israeli soldiers humiliating the Palestinians”, among others.

According to the Patriarchate, these amounted to legitimate reasons for the hundreds of stabbings, car rammings, shootings, and other forms of terror attacks which have been perpetrated by Palestinians and Israeli Arabs over the past five months.

Said the Commission: “Today the situation has become a new intifada in which Palestinians plunge to their death out of despair caused by a life full of frustration, humiliation and insecurity, with no hope at all.”

Not surprisingly, no mention of constant Palestinian incitement to violence was made. The entirety of the blame was placed on Israel and its “siege of Jerusalem and the Judaization of the city.”

This protection by the Catholic Church of the Palestinian “plight” is another example of the prophesied union between Ishmael and Esau against Israel at the End of Days. Most recently, Pope Francis met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and noted that they share “common” values.

Blatantly neglecting the unavoidable rampage of incitement to murder Israelis on social media channels, the Commission said, “There is enough space in the land for us all. Let all have the same dignity and equality. No occupation and no discrimination. Two peoples living together and loving each other according to the way they choose. They are able to love each other and to make peace together.”

Said Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben-Dahan in response to these false claims “During the history of the last 150 years it has been proved that the Arabs don’t need excuses to commit violence against the Jews,” The Jerusalem Post reported.

“With all due respect to the Latin Patriarchate, it should not simply repeat Palestinian propaganda,” Dahan added.

Israel’s border with Lebanon is violated on a daily basis, according to a new report by the Israeli Mission to the United Nations.
The report also shows the degree to which UN resolutions are ignored and even tolerated – despite the presence of United Nations observers. In 2015 alone, there were fully 2,374 documented violations of the most recent UN ruling on the Israel-Lebanon border, UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, conveyed the statistics to the UN Secretary General and Security Council. Danon condemned the rampant violations of the border area and the UN’s tacit acceptance of Hezbollah control.
“The government of Lebanon is not acting and armed Hezbollah operatives are roaming freely throughout the south Lebanon in violation of the UN,” Danon said. “Hezbollah has free reign in South Lebanon and instead of reacting forcefully to their violations, the UN is ignoring the problem.”

Hezbollah, which has de facto autonomy in southern Lebanon, maintains regular armed patrols along the Blue Line – the UN’s demarcation between Israel and Lebanon – well within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) security zone. The number of Hezbollah patrols along the border in 2015 was estimated at 653.
More disturbing, the report revealed that Israel’s northern border is violated on a daily basis. During 2015 alone, infiltrators breached the border 589 times.
Another 1,079 incidents of armed individuals – presumably Hezbollah fighters – openly operating in the UNIFIL security zone were recorded.
The report noted two Hezbollah terror attacks on Israel in 2015, and 51 violent protests targeting Israeli forces along the border.
