AS COVID CONTINUES TO WREAK HAVOC, YOU CAN ALMOST HEAR THE HOOFBEATS OF THE FOUR HORSEMEN!

Humanity has been gripped by fear over an invader so small it can only be seen through a microscope. And yet, as destructive as the coronavirus pandemic has been, I am even more concerned that larger, more insidious threats lurk in the shadows. These threats are immensely powerful, and rocketing us toward the emergence of the Antichrist and the return of Jesus Christ. The Bible has much to say about what we should be watching for as end-time events unfold. I’ll share more about this further on in this email. As Christians, many of us are deeply concerned by some of the things we see taking place in America and around the world in response to the pandemic. If you’ve been listening to various sources of information beyond the mainstream media, you’re likely disturbed by some of the proposed ideas (or devised strategies) seeping out from under the fortified walls of world governments, powerful institutions, and global businesses. Many observers have varying views as to the real agenda. Some believe world governments are simply responding at face value to the threat of a deadly new coronavirus based upon scientific data and medical recommendations. These individuals view government-mandated restrictions and the complete closure of businesses and institutions as absolute necessities to reduce the threat to public health and safeguard society. They believe the economy cannot fully resume without more testing and the discovery of a vaccine. Others believe strongly that the Federal Reserve is using the coronavirus pandemic as a public distraction while restructuring massive global debt. The Fed is also concerned both by the rise of viable cryptocurrencies, and by China’s implementation of a digital currency in an attempt to replace the dollar with the Chinese yuan as the world’s reserve currency. The United States and the nations of the G20 are on the verge of becoming cashless countries. Interest rates in the U.S. are near zero. If rates begin to move significantly into negative territory (as they have done in Japan), banks will begin to charge consumers a percentage fee to keep money in the bank. Central banks fear individuals will then begin to pull their money out of the banks to avoid the fee and safeguard their money at home. The only way for central banks to prevent this will be to replace cash with a new digital currency and control its use. Whether this occurs within the next five months or the next five years is debatable. Whenever it happens, the new currency will most likely be digitally coded with specific requirements that will obligate consumers to spend their digital “money” in ways and in locations deemed “socially acceptable” by a centralized financial authority. All transactions will be recorded on a centralized digital ledger. Obviously, this would dramatically impinge on our privacy rights and civil liberties. For Christians, in particular, the idea of a central authority enforcing a new “moral” code over the use of our finances is deeply troubling. Still others believe the real impetus for the economic shutdown is a broader U.S. war with China. Thus far, it has not been waged with bullets and bombs, but through trade, technology, and telecommunications. There is intense fighting between the two global powers on these three battlefronts, and each is pivotal to the U.S. economy and our national security. Chinese advancements in world-changing 5G technology are a major political juggernaut, and the potential health hazards and governmental control the new 5G systems may unleash on the American public and on every region of the planet are extremely concerning. Many believe we are witnessing an ideological war waged by various globalist elites like billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Bill Gates, against a rising tide of nationalism in America and around the world. For decades, Gates has funded the development of vaccines for mass global distribution. Today he is at the forefront of ID2020, a combined effort by the company he co-founded, Microsoft, with Gavi (the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization) and several multi-national corporations to implement a mandatory digital identity for every man, woman, and child on Planet Earth through the use of biometric technology. Some believe this may be a prototype – or the actual mark of the beast described in Revelation 13. Whether or not this is the case, it is beyond debate that the world’s rapid advances in technology have reached a threshold making it possible for a single individual with willing cohorts to control nearly every aspect of human existence. Through the distribution of billions of dollars, Gates and his foundation now wield an astonishing level of power and influence on global agencies such as the World Health Organization, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control, and on major pharmaceutical companies and large research universities. In fact, two of the main sources of data used to support the coronavirus pandemic models for U.S. government infection and mortality projections during the recent outbreak (which are also used by all of the major news networks) have been the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) and The Imperial College of London. According to public sources, over the past two decades The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has provided more than $1.3 billion in combined funding for these institutions. Still others see the coronavirus as cover for a purely political agenda to defeat President Trump and his “America First” policies in the upcoming election. A strong, growing economy has been at the forefront of the President’s campaign. Not only is the national shutdown wreaking havoc upon the nation’s economy and the lives of American families, it has cracked the central pillar of the President’s reelection strategy. Unless the mandate for social distancing is rescinded in the next few months, his ability to host political rallies across the country with tens of thousands of supporters in attendance will also be squelched. But the question remains: “Who or what has the power to cause global disruptions of such epic proportions?” Who has the power to simultaneously implement strategies of this variety and magnitude? World governments and global elites believe they are calling the shots, but these developments go beyond the scope of their control. Skeptics may scoff, but in reality, these developments are nothing less than the sinister schemes of an invisible enemy in a spiritual war between the forces of good and evil. Throughout human history, Satan has used human instruments as pawns on a grand, invisible chessboard to accomplish his strategic purposes. He is doing the same today. The stakes couldn’t be higher in this epic war between God and Satan that has raged since the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden. Will the Creator of the Universe and His righteous Son, Jesus Christ, emerge victorious over the global aspirations of Satan and his wicked progeny, the Antichrist? The destiny of Planet Earth and the eternal souls of humanity hang in the balance. The self-serving strategies of powerful individuals and global institutions are pushing humanity ever closer to the brink of divine judgment. Just as the world was caught by surprise when God destroyed it by flood in the days of Noah, so too was the world caught off-guard by the recent outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Tragically, the situation will be exactly the same when end-time events unfold and Jesus Christ returns as a thief in the night – at a time when the unsaved world least expects it. However, God’s Word does reveal many important indicators in Scripture to help believers know the general time period (not the specific day or hour) of Christ’s return. Among them are events associated with the first four seals around the scroll of Revelation 5. These seals correspond to the infamous four horsemen of the apocalypse (Revelation 6). If you listen carefully, you can almost hear the hoofbeats of the horsemen fast approaching in the distance. The rise of the Antichrist, major wars, devastating famines, and rampant pestilence and death are all prophetic events of the last days that will occur inside the future seven-year period known biblically as Daniel’s 70th Week (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 6) The arrival of these “horsemen” and global events associated with them are referred to in Scripture as “the beginning of sorrows.” In other words, there are events to follow that will be even more severe prior to the return of Jesus Christ to rapture His faithful followers and judge the nations. War, famine, pestilence, disease, and death are now occurring across the globe with greater intensity and frequency, which leads us to believe the crescendo of galloping hoofbeats will continue to grow louder as the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, draws near. Now, more than ever, we should be growing in our walk with Christ. Bible reading and a consistent, diligent search to understand the prophetic Scriptures are vital to our spiritual growth and preparedness for the difficult days approaching.
