Hi All
Some news and updates:
Matlock
For those of you who often come to Brian's conferences the sad news is that there will not be one this November.
Willersley Castle Hotel, near Matlock, has now closed permanently and is to be sold by the Methodist Christian Guild who own it.
A conference at Overstrand, Cromer, is booked for 10-14/15 May next year at The Pleasaunce, as usual. Please let Anne know if you would like further details as they become available.
Brian continues to make progress, although it is slow.
The ulcer by his left ankle has healed, praise the Lord. However, there are two more that are causing concern, and that Gilly has to dress carefully regularly.
One is the wound around the removed toes on his left foot. It is healing, slowly, but it can be extremely painful.
The other main one goes around his right leg. Again, healing slowly, but painful.
He is also experiencing tummy issues with diverticulitis, which relates to haemorrhoids that often bleed. Again, a real source of pain here, so please continue to pray for him, especially in the long night hours. Thank you very much.
He and Gilly do send their love to you all and are very disappointed that you won't be able to see them at conferences this year.
Valerie Heard
The cancer is still spreading, but Valerie remains very cheerful and trusting the Lord.
She was tested positive for Covid-19 last week, but a subsequent test has showed that this was a false positive. She had to stop initial treatment because of the Covid result, and is still waiting for further treatment, now it has been rescinded.
She and John send their love and thanks for your prayers to all who know them.
She is sorting some old books out and attached are details of one.
Thanks and blessings
Keith and Pat
