While discussing the effects of COVID-19 on New York State, including a plateauing of total hospital admissions and a decline in net hospitalizations and ICU admissions, Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo said "the number is down because we brought the number down. God did not do that...."
Growing up in rural northern New Jersey, we had a family doctor who had some really pithy maxims. One of the ones that still resonates with me all these years later is one that is so very appropriate for today's article. Doc Colfax used to tell me, "son, one day there'll be a cure for cancer, but you'll never cure stupid". Welcome to today's article on Democrat Andrew Cuomo and his utter dislike and distaste for the God of the bible.
The bible calls you a 'fool', Cuomo, and so you are.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Democrat, was brightly beaming as he signed the
Reproductive Health Act into law, a law that allows for abortion up to the due date, and removed all protections for any baby who somehow lived through their abortion procedure. But Cuomo stopped smiling as the blood that Democrats crave so much ran through the New York City streets with adults of all ages dying from the coronavirus. The Lord God showed them mercy anyway, and the numbers have plateaued, but do you think for a single second that the God-rejecting Democrats are in any wise grateful to Him for that? Not a chance.
Gov. Cuomo on Battling COVID-19: 'We Brought the Number Down, God Did Not Do That'
FROM CNS NEWS: At a press conference on Monday, the governor explained that the total number of hospitalizations in New York had started to plateau at 18,000. This doesn't mean the situation will not get worse but, currently, that number has been running at 18,000 and is flattening the curve.
Cuomo also mentioned a decline in other areas, such as ICU admissions. However, he stressed that these positive signs were there only because of the policies imposed and the behavior of the people.
“You can turn those numbers on two or three days of reckless behavior, it’s like being on a diet,” said Cuomo.
“It [the plateau] is directly a result of what you do today," he said. "The number is down because we brought the number down. God did not do that, fate did not do that, destiny did not do that, a lot of pain and suffering did that.”
According to the latest news reports, as of April 15, 2020, there have been 213,779 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New York; 17,089 people have recovered and 11,586 people have died from the virus.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo is a Catholic who supports abortion on demand, even up to the moment of birth, and so-called gay "marriage."
