The United Nations overwhelmingly voted in favor of a resolution on Wednesday condemning Israel for using "excessive, disproportionate and indiscriminate" force in Gaza following several fatal clashes along Israel's border in recent weeks.

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." Zechariah 12:9 (KJV)
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Bible says repeatedly that it is God's desire to 'gather the nations' of the world, so that they will have free reign to come against His Holy City of Jerusalem, and against His chosen people, the Jews. The gathering of the nations as seen in the body of the United Nations, unique in world history, have indeed assembled themselves against the Lord and against His Christ. During the time of Jacob's trouble, the UN will be lead by none other than Antichrist himself, and God will lead all those nations into the Battle of Armageddon who the sole purpose of being slaughter while the whole world watches at the Second Coming. Yesterday's vote against Israel is simply more confirmation of the coming future of the United Nations.
"Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy." Zephaniah 3:8 (KJV)
The bid brought forward by Algeria, Turkey and Palestine, was passed in the United Nations General Assembly with a 120 to 8 vote, and featured 45 abstentions. The US, Israel, Australia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Togo and the Solomon Islands voted against the measure.
The resolution stated it "deplores the use of any excessive, disproportionate and indiscriminate force by the Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and particularly in the Gaza Strip," citing Israel's use of live ammunition against protesters and the deaths of a journalist and medical personnel.
The resolution condemned the "firing of rockets from the Gaza Strip against Israeli civilian areas," which have increased following clashes, and requested the UN secretary general submit a written response regarding the safety of the Palestinian civilian population.
The votes reflected wide concern in the 193-member world body that the resolution sponsored by Arab and Islamic nations was one-sided and failed to even mention Hamas, which has fired over 100 rockets at Israel.
The U.S. amendment to condemn Hamas, which was voted on first, was approved by a vote of 62-58 with 42 abstentions. General Assembly President Miroslav Lajcak declared that under U.N. rules a two-thirds vote was needed so the amendment failed.
The assembly then voted on the original Palestinian-backed resolution which was approved by a vote of 120-8 with 45 abstentions.
