Israel Exposes Previously Unknown Iranian Nuke Facility

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu exposed the existence of a secret Iranian nuclear facility where the regime carried out what he described as research and development for nuclear weapons. The PM said the Iranian regime razed the facility in the town of Abadeh last July when it realized Israel was aware of its existence.

The PM didn't explain why he waited till now to disclose the information. Analysts suggested it was to torpedo the possibility of a US-Iran summit and give himself an election boost. More at the Times of Israel and New York Times.

Israel is believed responsible for an attack on an Iraqi weapons warehouse last night belonging to a pro-Iran militia. The depot, in the city of Hit, belonged to the Iran-backed Popular Mobilization Forces, whose bases in Syria and Iraq have been struck a number of times in recent weeks.

In a separate attack earlier this week, a PMF base at Al Bukamal, on the Syrian side of a border crossing with Iraq, was also hit by an airstrike widely attributed to Israel.

An IDF drone went down over Gaza. Hamas says it shot down the aerial vehicle and retrieved it. This was a day after another IDF drone went down in Lebanon.

According to Arab reports picked up by Israel HaYom, Saudi Arabia has arrested more than 60 Palestinians who are all members of Hamas.

"The Saudi government has reportedly issued orders to confiscate the money and assets of Hamas operatives and supporters, as well as an order banning Hamas activity in the kingdom and banning membership in organizations suspected of helping Hamas launder money."
