Iran Unveils Series Of Nuclear-Capable Ballistic Missiles And Threatens To Strike Israel Over Syria Attack by Geoffrey Grider Iran unveiled a series of new homemade nuclear-capable ballistic missiles during military parades held over the weekend, a move that experts view as a bid to bolster the hardline ruling regime as dissidents continue efforts to stir protest. On the heels of an encounter between an Iranian drone and Israeli forces, Iranian leaders showcased their ballistic missile capabilities, which includes a nuclear-capable medium-range missile that appears to share similarities with North Korean technology, according to experts. The nuclear-capable missile can strike Israel even when fired from Iranian territory, raising concerns about an impending conflict between Tehran and the Jewish state that could further inflame the region. Iranian military leaders bragged the ballistic missile "can be launched from mobile platforms or silos in different positions and can escape missile defense shields due to their radar-evading capability," according to reports in Iran's state-controlled media. The latest technology could further inflame tensions between Israel and Iran, which funds and controls terror organizations operating along Israel's border. Concerns that this nuclear-capable technology could be shared by Iran with its terrorist proxies are fueling longstanding concerns among the Israelis that an attack is imminent. As Iranian dissidents continue to protest over the country's ailing economy, the ruling regime continues to invest millions of dollars it received as part of the landmark nuclear deal with the United States on its military technology, specifically ballistic missiles, which are subject to a ban under international statutes. However, Iran has not only continued this work but also invested heavily in it since receiving the cash windfalls from the nuclear deal. Conservative estimates from open sources indicate the Iranian regime has spent at least $16 billion in recent years on its military buildup and rogue operations in Syria, as well as other countries. "Thirty-nine years in, the Islamic Revolution has little to show for its decades in power other than growing the country's asymmetric military capabilities in order to continue their export of the revolution," Behnam Ben Taleblu, an Iran expert with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told the Washington Free Beacon. "The Islamic Republic has considerably grown the country's missile and rocket arsenal, both through production and procurement." The two missiles featured over the weekend by Iran include the Ghadr, a medium-range ballistic missile that was modified and upgraded by the Islamic Republic "The Ghadr can strike Israel when fired from Iranian territory, and in March 2016, was flight-tested while bearing genocidal slogans against the state of Israel," according to Ben Taleblu, who has researched Iranian missile procurement. Iranian military leaders also rolled out a rocket called the Fajr-5, which is becoming a new favorite of Iranian-backed terror proxy groups operating against Israel. "The Fajr-5 is an Iranian rocket that has been proliferated to anti-Israel groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. It can travel up to 75 km, and is therefore a long-range artillery rocket. It uses solid fuel for propulsion," Ben Taleblu explained. "Both the Qadr missile and Fajr rocket represents Iran's commitment to developing stand-off weaponry that it uses for purposes of deterrence and coercion." The new weaponry could fuel ongoing efforts by Congress to crackdown on Iran's continued proliferation of ballistic missile technology, a large part of which has been incubated by the North Korean regime, which continues to have a technology-sharing agreement with Tehran. Iran already has the region's largest arsenal of ballistic missiles and is seeking to continue building this technology. The Trump administration has said that any effort to fix the nuclear deal with Iran must focus on constricting the regime's access to ballistic missile technology. source

"I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD." Amos 1:5 (KJV) EDITOR'S NOTE: Russian leader Putin fired up the hotline over the weekend and ordered Israeli PM Netanyahu to immediately stop all airstrikes on targets in Syria. But Netanyahu replied that Israel would continue defend itself against all enemies. The United States weighed in with full support of Israel's position being offered. Iran is instigating, Russia is posturing, and Israel is defending. And the prophecy clock continues to tick.... The Russian President told Netanyahu in a phone call on Saturday evening to avoid a course of action that could have 'dangerous consequences for the region'. At the time Israel had just completed a second round of bombardments against Syrian forces and what it says were Iranian installations in the country and was considering further strikes in retaliation for the loss of its jet, Haaretz reports. But Putin, who has spent years propping up the Assad regime in the hopes of staving off American interference, put a swift end to the confrontation, it is reported. The exchange of fire began after Israel accused Iran of flying a drone into its territory, a claim which Iran later denied. That prompted Israel jets to strike a region in Syria that Iranian forces are known to occupy, with one being shot down as it returned to Israel. Both pilots escaped, but one was badly injured. It marked the first time an Israeli jet has been lost in combat since 1982. Following the loss of the jet, Israel said it carried out strikes that destroyed 12 military sites, including four allegedly occupied by Iranian forces. Netanyahu acknowledged his call with Putin on Saturday evening, saying he had told him of Israel's intention to continue defending itself against any aggression and to prevent Iran from establishing a presence 'in Syria or anywhere else.' Russia's foreign ministry said it was 'absolutely unacceptable to create threats to the lives and security of Russian servicemen.' Some of the targets struck by the Israeli bombardments are close to where Russian personnel are serving Netanyahu was keen to trumpet the success of the air raids during a Sunday morning cabinet meeting, but made no mention of further strikes. 'We inflicted on Saturday a heavy blow to Iranian and Syrian forces,' he said. 'We made clear to everyone that our rules of engagement will not change in any way. We will continue to harm anyone who tries to harm us. This was our policy and this will remain our policy.' Other Israeli ministers spoke of refusing to accept Iran entrenching itself militarily in Syria, as Netanyahu has said repeatedly. Tehran denies it is doing so. Russia stressed the need to 'avoid any measure that could lead to a dangerous escalation'. United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres called for an immediate de-escalation. Netanyahu spoke with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson after Saturday's confrontation. Washington backed Israel and blamed Iran for the escalation. Tillerson on Sunday begins a Middle East tour that will take him to Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt and Kuwait. Netanyahu has met regularly with Putin in recent months in a bid to convince Russia to keep Iranian forces away from Israeli territory. Russia and Israel have also established a hotline to avoid accidental clashes in Syria. I am including below a very helpful report from Lord John Taylor who bravely spoke with biblical references in HoL Withdrawal Bill proceedings.  If you can spare the time do go onto Hansard and take time to read some of the  contributions - it would take a lot of time to read them all, but to have an insight into the diversity of the difficulties, helps, i believe,so we are aware of what for M andembers in both Houses are significant issues.

As you will see from  Lord Taylor, it was good that the Amendment was withdrawn, because it was a veil for trying to push for another Referendum;  however, there is  the more challenging reality that there is still such a strong mood among Members in  both Houses to argue to remain.  An Amendment to protect the result of the Referendum would be really honourable and valuable!  

   Where a Member has been an MEP (eg Duke of Wellington) or held a significant role re EU (eg Lord William Hague - former MP, PM & FS) it is good to note their speech content.

 (It is helpful to realise that for a long time our Foreign Office has bee n for a 2 state solution - that should be a constant plea to our heavenly Father to change the heart  of  our Foreign Office!  to give them a 'heart for the King of Israel! ) 

  For the two Peers mentioned once they were very pro the EU system, thus still have heart to remain.  The danger for us as citizens is to recognise they have no spiritual awakening to deep root of deception that underlies this phony political system as a lady wrote in years ago to our office when i was PA to the EuroSceptic MPs during debate of the European Communities Bill - the Maastricht Treaty is a mass trick.  How accurate and succinct.    This am on TV i just happened to see Bill Cash being interviewed  - Bill was my boss back in those days and he headed a campaign for a Referendum;  it was very good to hear his positive insight today:  he believes the House of Lords will not be arguing strongly against our Exit, that despite all the arguing, votes prove things are moving forward.  Let us remain confident in the Lord who is well able to deliver us and remain assured that it is His Will to do so!

Lets keep in mind Jesus announced the Kingdom of God;  as Lord John referred in his speech of you see on Hansard, Jesus was confronting the Roman system then.    We are facing the identical same confrontation; back in 325AD Constantine (born in England, and Emperor of Western Roman Empire) succeeded in announcing @ Council of Nicea  'we (meaning the church/state shall have nothing to do with those detestable people the Jews)  The Treaty of Rome undergirds the EU - the Strasbourg building in its outer exterior resembles purposefully the Tower of Babel (they wish to pick up from Genesis where God came down to stop them, by confounding language and causing confusion for lack of agreement.  Psalm 133:1.   In the inner lining it resembles the Coliseum of Rome, where the Jews were slaughtered back in history!    

   The sad truth about all the debates is that so far no one is daring to detail the disaster of what remaining in the EU would bring?  Unless of course you see David Hathaway's dvd The Rape of Europe?

Another interesting  ?  is the fact that we have an Archbishop in Canterbury due to Augustine?  and in York due to Constantine?  please let me know if yu do?

Finally, i cannot help mentioning how Queen Victoria traced her ancestry back to King David........ the records are kept safe ................ but, not to my awareness, 'on view'

There were 198 speakers over a marathon 36 hours. As far as I know I was the only speaker to speak about biblical principles.

The points the intercessors, including Sally, had listed I had already put into my speech. So this confirmed I (and they) were hearing the right things from God. I spoke about Moses, the biblical  warning against  overbearing empires, which in the New Testament was Rome. Not one speaker seemed to understand the biblical principles behind all these issues.  But Laura says they were all listening and I got some "hear hears". There were some brilliant speakers, especially from the old Law Lords, but all intellect. Information not Revelation. Heseltine did not take part, which surprised me. But the old Thatcherites Lamont, Baker and King clearly enjoyed the debate.

The good news is that Lords Adonis and Mandelson, who were campaigning for a Second Referendum, backed down. They decided to withdraw their amendment and did not force a vote. So The European Union Withdrawal Bill made a big step forward.  The next stage will be to debate any fine details that need to be corrected. In my speech I had listed some flaws e.g. to clarify that British Law will have primacy over European Law, after Brexit. That has to be expressly stated in the Bill, to avoid any confusion. As I was saying this the Minister was nodding at me, so I do not think that will be a problem.

The campaign is trying to recruit major Tory donors in an attempt to undermine Theresa May. It also plans to target MPs and convince them to vote against the final Brexit deal to trigger another referendum or general election, according to a strategy document leaked from a meeting of the group. The news emerged as Theresa May gathered her Brexit war Cabinet amid fears ministers are deadlocked over what 'end state' they want from negotiation with the EU. Downing Street insisted that the UK will be leaving the bloc in March next year regardless of the growing clamour from Remainers. George Soros has previously warned that Brexit will be a disaster for the economy, and suggested the UK could immediately apply to rejoin the EU. The 87-year-old Hungarian-born financier is one of the world's richest men who made a reported £1.5 billion betting against sterling on Black Wednesday in 1992. One of Mr Soros's foundations gave the money to Best for Britain, a Remain group that wants to force a second EU referendum. Ms Miller, the millionaire businesswoman who took the Government to court over Brexit, promised 'the biggest tactical voting effort in our history' when she launched the Best for Britain campaign in April last year. According to the Telegraph, businessman Stephen Peel and Sir Martin Sorrell, the chief executive of advertising firm WPP, attended a dinner with Mr Soros last week. Best for Britain chairman Lord Malloch-Brown, a former minister and diplomat, said the group had followed rules governing financial contributions 'to the letter'.
