Archaeologists Have Discovered The Entrance Gate To The Biblical City Of Zer, Also Known As Bethsaida by Geoffrey Grider Archaeologists have uncovered the entrance gate to the biblical city of Zer during excavations carried out in the Golan Heights over the past two weeks, the Golan Regional Council said Sunday. How exciting is the news coming out of Israel today that yet another ancient city mentioned in the Bible has been found! FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: In recent days, and after a year of recess, a group of 20 archaeologists from all over the world, together with director of the Bethsaida Project, Dr. Rami Arav, and under the auspices of the Hebrew Union College, Jerusalem, conducted new excavations in two different areas of Bethsaida. The ancient fishing village is mentioned several times in the New Testament as a city where Jesus lived and where he miraculously fed a multitude of people with five loaves and two fish. "And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth," Joshua 19:35 (KJV) Archaeologists said the size, wealth and impressive fortifications indicate that Zer was a major city. “There are not many gates in this country from this period. Bethsaida was the name of the city during the Second Temple period, but during the First Temple period it was the city of Zer,” Arav said, pointing to Joshua 19:35, which says: “The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth.” "The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus." John 12:21 (KJV) Arav began carrying out excavations of et-Tell on behalf of the University of Nebraska nearly 30 years ago. In these excavations, he identified the ancient Bethsaida, and following his excavations and discoveries, masses of Christian pilgrims visited the site because of its great importance to Christianity. Over the years, excavators have discovered in Bethsaida many remains from various periods. The excavations are conducted in the Jordan Park area, northeast of the Sea of Galilee. Avi Lieberman, director of the Jordan Park in which Bethsaida is located said: “The staff at the Jordan Park and the Golan Tourism are happy for the tens of thousands of visitors who visit the park every day. The wonderful park is also an impressive archaeological site. I amazed each time by the arrival of thousands of evangelical visitors to Bethsaida. I am confident that the latest discoveries will bring more visitors to the park from around the world and from Israel.” Another finding made in the past two weeks was discovered underneath what was seemingly the floor of a Roman temple built by Herod’s son Philip, which he dedicated to Julia, the daughter of Augustus. There archaeologists found coins, beads, jugs and house keys as well as a shield that belonged to a Roman soldier. The most significant finding was a coin dated to 35 BC, which was minted in Acre on the occasion of the arrival of Cleopatra and Marc Antony. There is a total of 12 of these coins. Over the years various findings made in the area have made waves in the world of archaeology. Several years ago, a gold coin bearing the portrait of Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius, who reigned from 138 to 161 AD, was discovered by an excavator working with Arav. source

The group's plan is to suspend the balloon above Parliament Square, beside the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, when Trump visits on July 13. It had launched a crowdfunding page for the project, describing Trump as "a big, angry baby with a fragile ego and tiny hands." The campaign has raised more than £16,000 ($21,000). The London Evening Standard carried a statement from a spokesman for Khan: "The Mayor supports the right to peaceful protest and understands that this can take many different forms. His city operations team have met with the organisers and have given them permission to use Parliament Square Garden as a grounding point for the blimp." The balloon will not be allowed to fly more than 30 meters (98 feet) off the ground, Sky News reported. It will also be subject to authorization from the Metropolitan Police and UK air-traffic authorities. READ MORE Now I know that our president won't care even a little bit about this mockery of him personally, but it goes deeper than that. Mocking the American president is mocking the entire nation of America, and that simply cannot stand. So I wonder if, in the spirit of free speech and public protest, would the muslim mayor of London allow protest groups to fly a 20 foot high helium filled balloon that mocked their 'prophet' Mohammed the pedophile? Well, let's see. Mayor Khan is the same person who authorized an anti-Israel march supporting Hezbollah to take place in London, and the same person who said he supports Sharia Law and had subway and bus ads banned that offended muslims. So clearly Mayor Khan doesn't care if Jews are offended, or non-muslims are offended, and by authorizing that Baby Trump balloon to fly, doesn't care if every person in America is offended. I think it's time to see how thick Mayor Khan's skin is.

The report, based on information from 2006-2015, is a study of more than 7,249 Dutch nationals with Moroccan and Turkish roots. The Episcopal Church Begins Process Of Reducing God To ‘Gender Neutral’ Status In Their Book Of Common Prayer by Geoffrey Grider It is the standard cry of Laodiceans everywhere that 'you can't put God in a box!', and 'you can't define God'. But I have news for you, yes you can. The Episcopal Church, or 'Catholic Lite' as I call them, are an interesting group of people. They are hyper-focused on things like Climate Change, performing same-sex marriages and creating ceremonies to celebrate when a transgender adopts a new name. But Bible doctrine? They wouldn't know it if they fell over it. Now they have a new mission - to remove all references to God as a male, and all instances of any masculine pronouns in their Book of Common Prayer. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." 2 Timothy 4:3,4 (KJV) FROM CBN NEWS: Now the Episcopal Church is debating about overhauling its Book of Common Prayer, which is used in Episcopal congregations worldwide. The debate centers on making sure that prayers in the book are clear that God is not male, but doesn't have a gender, The Washington Post reports.  "As long as 'men' and 'God' are in the same category, our work toward equity will not just be incomplete. I honestly think it won't matter in some ways," the Rev. Wil Gafney, a professor of the Hebrew Bible at Brite Divinity School in Texas told the newspaper. Besides adding gender-neutral language concerning God, some advocates also want other revisions including, a Christian's duty to the Earth's conservation, adding same-sex marriage ceremonies to the liturgy, (since the church has been performing homosexual weddings for years) and even adding a ceremony to celebrate a transgender person's adoption of a new name. READ MORE The Triune God is absolutely revealed as definitely masculine in the Bible: GOD IS MALE: "And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." Luke 11:2 (KJV) JESUS IS MALE: "My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one." John 10:29,30 (KJV) THE HOLY SPIRIT IS MALE: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:" John 16:7,8 (KJV) When God created Adam, the first male, the Bible says that Adam was in the very image of God Himself. What image is that? A man. When God created Eve, He created her fromthe male Adam, indeed the very word 'woman' means 'taken out of man'. "And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." Genesis 2:21-23 (KJV) Hmm, I guess the Bible should add a TRIGGER WARNING to that passage, eh? Kind of hard to remain a feminist when you realize your entire gender is a subcategory of the male gender. But I digress, back to the Episcopal Church. At what point does a professing Christian church, even if it's name only, cross the line from being merely Laodicean over into such red-hot apostasy that you have become utterly meaningless? Well, I think the Episcopal Church has done exactly that. The changes they have already made, compounded with these proposed changes they wish to make, will make their core theology 100% at odds with everything the Bible teaches. For example, the Episcopal Church is performing same-sex marriage, the Bible says same-sex anything is an abomination. The Episcopal Church wants to make God gender neutral, while the Bible reveals every aspect of God to be male at every turn. It is the standard cry of Laodiceans everywhere that 'you can't put God in a box!', and 'you can't define God'. But I have news for you, yes you can. Put God in a box? Absolutely, and that box is the King James Bible. There you will find everything you will ever know or that can be known about God in this life. Can't define God? The Bible defines Him to a wonderfully granular level of understanding. But you only come to know 'nuggets' like these if you actually read the Bible, and then believe what you read, in the context in which it appears. We refer to this peculiar trait as being a Bible believer. Something the Episcopal Churchknows nothing about.
