We’ve Gone Insane

– It’s Time to Escape the Asylum –

Living abroad can really help clear your head of cultural foolishness. Of course, you run the risk of picking up OTHER cultural foolishness, but at least you have a clearer view of what your own culture IS.
Well, when I limped back to the US after 14 years in Israel, I returned a country that had left sanity behind. It was 2006, and the moral decline of America had gone into free-fall.
Then God brought a wonderful woman into my life, and I dragged this lovely woman back to Israel, and then on to Taiwan.
And, as I look back at the country of my birth, I find it hard to believe how insane we have become.
Are we so different from everyone else that you and I are the only ones to see it?

America is blind by choice, which makes the US a dangerous place for those who choose to see.
That thought was brought home to me with astonishing clarity when I went to Steve Quayle’s website and looked through the links that he had put up on Sunday. It is my interpretation that this virus has gone through no less than 33 recombination events, with markers indicative of laboratory splicing, leaving ‘sticky ends’ that provide for recombination with foreign RNA.

Of course, that’s an unconfirmed report, and I try to be careful with such things. But, I include it here because it rings true to me – which means that…
…this is a planned event.
However, you’ve probably figured this out. And, if you haven’t, you know of various ‘planned events’ in the past. Satan is the father of such things, and managing your perception of reality is his favorite lie of all.
So, my greatest upset doesn’t center on the fact that this was planned. No, my greatest upset is over the fact that my fellow Americans have swallowed the insanity of it – whole.
 Exit The Insane Collective
If we hand an ounce of sanity in our collective consciousness, we would have demanded that the US issue a complete, global quarantine of anyone and everyone leaving sub-Saharan Africa. But, we DON’T have an ounce of sanity in our collective consciousness, so it’s time to exit the collective.
Seriously. It’s exit time.

 Within The US
Now, it’s possible to ‘exit the collective’ in the area where you are. But, that would mean getting to as remote a location as possible and building a community of people who aren’t insane.
Unfortunately, we don’t have much time left to build such communities of sanity, and there aren’t very many sane people left to build them with. But, if you are determined to stay in the US, I recommend getting started on your ‘community building’ project – NOW.
Good luck with that.

 Leaving The US
Maybe I’m too cynical, but I struggle to believe that too many such communities will be successful. However, if the Lord directs you to do such a thing, you must follow what the Lord tells you.
For the rest of you…
…exiting the insane collective means leaving the US.
Some of you have already written me about your plans to do so, and those messages are wonderful to read. It really eases my mind to know that brothers and sisters in Christ have taken steps to get out of harm’s way – as well as serving the Lord as they do it.
 But, Only If You Serve God
Please understand that I am NOT interested in helping you prolong a comfortable, self-absorbed life. Our job is to serve the Lord, and I want you to survive what is coming, so that you can do that.
If you aren’t interested in serving the Lord… please go back to your television, your career, your Facebook friends and your megachurch. I can’t help you, and I’m not interested in doing so.

I’m glad that you asked that, and I hope to be talking about relocation over the next few days – Lord willing. But, don’t wait for me to write about this. Start thinking about it now.

AMERICAN STAR ACTOR NICHOLAS CAGE DEVOTES HIS FILM "LEFT BEHIND" TO HIS BROTHER MARC, WHO IS A CHRISTIAN PASTOR!

If you ask the Academy Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage why he took the lead role of “Rayford Steele” in the upcoming biblical thriller “Left Behind,” he’ll likely cite his admiration for the script and the opportunity to work again with director Vic Armstrong.

But the Hollywood star has also revealed a more personal motivation.

“My brother, Marc, is a Christian pastor, and he was very excited about this,” Cage told reporters in a press conference touting the film’s Oct. 3 debut. “He said, you know, Nicky, you’ve really got to do this.

“I’d already wanted to make the movie because I thought it was such a great script and an opportunity again to do something challenging,” Cage continued, “but when I saw how passionate [Marc] was, I thought, well, yeah, I want to make this movie for my brother, too.”

Cage made similar comments in a Facebook video, where he says his brother “inspired me to look at ['Left Behind'].”

Cage’s brother, Marc “The Cope” Coppola, is perhaps better known as an actor and classic rock DJ on New York City’s WAXQ-Radio.

Jordin Sparks, the “American Idol” winner who plays airplane passenger “Shasta Carvell” in the movie, told reporters she was inspired to join the cast by reading as a teen the “Left Behind” books that form the basis of the film.

“I just remember being so affected by the thought of, wow, what if my closest friends just disappeared one day? What if they just weren’t here?” she said. “As a kid that’s definitely very scary. … [You might think], ‘It’s just in a book,’ but you know, when you read the Bible and you take those things to be truth, you know it is definitely something that you can think of and go, ‘Wow, that could actually happen.’”

Sparks also said this version of “Left Behind” is delivering a message relevant to audiences of all faiths.

“The great thing about this movie … because of the people that they have brought into the film, they have the ability to have people from all over come in and see the movie whether they are believers, whether they’re non-believers,” she said.

“Whether they are agnostic, whether they don’t believe in anything, it doesn’t even matter. … I think everybody can relate to imagining, ‘What if somebody that I loved wasn’t around anymore, in an instant?’ It can definitely happen, whether it is through being taken up in the Rapture or a tragic accident. Life isn’t promised to us here; tomorrow is not promised.”

Cage similarly was drawn to the movie’s universal themes.

“I was very taken by the family dynamic that plays out in this script,” Cage said. “That’s what I want … to come across, that people realize we all make mistakes, but in a moment of crisis what we really want, what we really go back to is the love we have for our families.”

He continued, “Ray Steele gets back to his true need for family through this extraordinary experience and understands the value of family and just wants to get back to that no matter what happens. Just to be able to get back on the phone with his daughter [and] say, ‘I’m sorry,’ and say, ‘I love you.’ And I think it’s as simple as that. I think that is heart-wrenching. And if you have a heart, I don’t think it’s possible to see the movie and not get a little verklempt. I mean it: There’s some very poignant, emotional moments.”

But why remake the movie at all? A series of “Left Behind” films was made in 2000 starring popular Christian actor Kirk Cameron.

In an exclusive interview with WND, the producer and writer for both “Left Behind” projects, Paul Lalonde, explained the rebooted story is aiming for a much bigger splash with bigger stars, a bigger budget and a much bigger ambition.

“We did three movies back in the early 2000s starring Kirk Cameron,” Lalonde said. “They were extremely successful but didn’t really fulfill my dream as a filmmaker.

“I’ve found Bible prophecy to be a great way to reach out to people who may not necessarily be open to evangelism, so we were excited about [the first] ‘Left Behind’ and how it did, but ever since then I wanted to do something bigger,” he continued. “I wanted to put Bible prophecy on the big screen rather than just on videos, to put the message of Bible prophecy in front of a much broader audience, and not just church-goers. That’s something we’ve tried to do with this new ‘Left Behind’ movie and this new approach of a bigger film with A-list actors.”

Lalonde also told WND not to expect this “Left Behind” to be a rehash of the previous film series.

“This is a very different script,” he said. “The first movie covered the entire first book in the ‘Left Behind’ series, a lot of events taking place, dozens of plot points. In the first movie, we didn’t really have time to focus or to really get to know the characters because of the pace of the events. This movie, on the other hand, the entire movie, is about the day of the Rapture, so really only the first chapter of the first book. This really doesn’t bear any resemblance to the first movie.”

But as more mainstream actors find their way into the film, WND asked, did the biblical content get pushed out?

“This movie focuses on the day of the Rapture, so there really isn’t any huge opportunity for anyone to do evangelizing, but the Christian worldview is there,” Lalonde said. “The message is there. Everybody who is watching knows it was the Rapture; they know where those people went; they know why those people left and why those who were left behind were left behind, so there is no attempt to hide the biblical theme of the movie.

“Yet it’s not in-your-face evangelism, because that’s specifically something I was trying to temper for a more mainstream audience,” he continued. “We wanted to hold true to the source material of the ‘Left Behind’ books, ultimately to hold true to the Scriptures and make sure we didn’t change any of the biblical realities.

“We didn’t do a ‘Noah’ on the script,” he insisted. “What I want is when people walk out of the theater, they’re asking, ‘Is that really in the Bible?’ And unlike ‘Noah,’ the answer is yes.”

For Lalonde, the ultimate goal is to reveal how imminent and relevant biblical prophecy is to all audiences, regardless of their religious background.

“What I like about ‘Left Behind’ is that it is a Bible-based movie, it’s a biblical story, it’s a true story – it just hasn’t happened yet,” Lalonde told WND. “It is a biblical movie like ‘Noah’ or ‘Son of God’ or ‘Exodus,’ but nobody’s in sandals. This is the modern world. This is today. And the great thing about the Rapture and about the immanency of the Rapture is this could literally happen this afternoon.

“So that’s a great takeaway for people,” he concluded. “We’re not talking about something that happened 4,000 years ago or 2,000 years ago; this is very relevant to today. Plus, you’ve got sort of a ‘Twilight Zone’ theme going on here with people disappearing – I think it will be very eye-opening to people who are outside of that core Christian audience to see that this is something prophesied in the Bible and worth looking into.”

A recent archeological dig has unearthed not less then two dozen skeletons of giant proportions near the ancient ruins of Rujm el-Hiri, located in the Golan Heights, a contested area claimed by both Syria and Israel. The team of archeologists led by the University of Tel-Aviv claims that the skeletons might be older then the ruins themselves, already dating back to 5000 years, according to mainstream archeology.
« It is clearly an unexpected find » explains chief archeologist, Tom Yiggur. « The site of Rujm el-Hiri has been extensively searched for decades already, but our team noticed a mound nearby which we thought was of major interest. It has been two long years, but it was definitely worth the effort! » he explains, visibly enthusiast.
The Rujm el-Hiri site which consists of an estimated 40,000 tons of uncut black volcanic basalt field stones piled and wedged into between five and nine concentric rings has always been a site of interest to biblical archeology because of its mention in the Bible.
« It is said in the Bible, that Og, King of Bashan, ruled over these lands. Og and his mighty army was slain by Moses and he is said to have been the last of theRephaim, a hebrew word meaning giant. Could this be the resting ground of these mythical giants the Bible tells us about? I would not be surprised! » explains Guntar Web, head of the Department of Biblical Studies at the University of Tel-Aviv. « One of the giants was covered in a copper armor. One of the copper swords was also as hard as steel and made in a fashion unknown to us. This is definitely the most interesting dig I have ever laid my eyes upon » explains the man who has been in the field for over four decades.

Netanyahu Invokes Biblical Prophecy During UN Address

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the annual gathering of world leaders at the UN General Assembly on Monday, warning the international community of the growing threat of militant Islam.
The prime minister jumped right in to tackling the issue of the increasing visibility and violence wrought by Islamist terrorists across the globe.
“Our hopes and the world’s hope for peace are in danger. Because everywhere we look, militant Islam is on the march,” Netanyahu said. “It’s not militants. It’s not Islam. It’s militant Islam.”
Netanyahu made clear that all people, regardless of race or religion, were threatened by Islamist terrorists. “Typically, its first victims are other Muslims, but it spares no one. Christians, Jews, Yazidis, Kurds – no creed, no faith, no ethnic group is beyond its sights. And it’s rapidly spreading in every part of the world,” he explained.
The prime minister reiterated that the “ultimate goal” of militant Islamists is to “dominate the world.” Likening the growth and strength of militant Islamists to cancer, Netanyahu warned, “left unchecked, the cancer grown, metastasizing over wider and wider areas. To protect the peace and security of the world, we must remove this cancer before it’s too late.”

Netanyahu singled out ISIS and Hamas, two terror organizations, who have proclaimed time and again that they “seek to impose” a caliphate run by Sharia law on the entire world. “So when it comes to their ultimate goals, Hamas is ISIS and ISIS is Hamas,” he said.
From Boko Haram in Nigeria to al-Qaeda across Malaysia and the Middle East, Netanyahu explained that all Islamist terror groups “all share a fanatic ideology.”
“They all seek to create ever-expanding enclaves of militant Islam where there is no freedom and no tolerance – where women are treated as chattel, Christians are decimated, and minorities are subjugated, sometimes given the stark choice: convert or die. For them, anyone can be an infidel, including fellow Muslims,” he said.
On Iran, Netanyahu warned that the Islamic Republic is the one place where “militant Islam will have the power to realize its unbridled ambitions.” The prime minister called out Iran’s president, Hassan Rouhani, who Netanyahu said “shed crocodile tears over what he called ‘the globalization of terrorism’.”
Iran is a well-known sponsor of “global terror.” Recently, Iranian military leaders boasted of how they provided most of the weapons used by Hamas against Israel during the recent 50-day conflict against terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
“Maybe he should spare us those phony tears and have a word instead with the commanders of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards. He could ask them to call off Iran’s global terror campaign, which has included attacks in two dozen countries on five continents since 2011 alone,” Netanyahu stated.
The prime minister urged world leaders to impose heavier sanctions on the Islamic Republic and “fully dismantle” its nuclear program. He warned that should Iran possess the ability to produce nuclear weapons, there is no doubt that the weapons would end up in the hands of ISIS.
Netanyahu rightfully defended Israel’s actions during Operation Protective Edge, where “Hamas fired thousands of rockets at Israel, many of them supplied by Iran.” He highlighted Hamas’s use of Palestinian civilians as human shields, as well as the use of “UN schools, private homes, mosques, even hospitals to store and fire rockets at Israel.”
The prime minister slammed Israel’s critics who “fueled libelous charges that Israel was deliberately targeting civilians.”
“We deeply regret every single civilian casualty…No other country and no other army in history have gone through greater lengths to avoid civilian casualties among the civilian population of their enemies,” Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu applauded the “brave soldiers of the IDF” who “deserve not condemnation, but admiration. Admiration from decent people everywhere.”
However, the highlight of Netanyahu’s speech came when the prime minister called out the UN Human Rights Council for its hypocritical treatment of Israel right at the UN itself.
“By investigating Israel rather than Hamas for war crimes, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) has betrayed its noble mission to protect the innocent. In fact, what it’s doing is to turn the laws of war upside-down. Israel, which took unprecedented steps to minimize civilian casualties, Israel is condemned. Hamas, which both targeted and hid behind civilians – that a double war crime – Hamas is given a pass.”
“The Human Rights Council is thus sending a clear message to terrorists everywhere: Use civilians as human shields. Use them again and again and again. You know why? Because sadly, it works,” Netanyahu stated. “By granting international legitimacy to the use of human shields, the UN’s Human Rights Council has thus become a Terrorist Rights Council, and it will have repercussions.”

Netanyahu questioned why “nearly half” of the UNHRC’s resolutions “have been directed against Israel, the one true democracy in the Middle East – Israel. Where issues are openly debated…where human rights are protected…and minorities live in a genuinely free society.”
With no shame, Netanyahu said, “The Human Rights…that’s an oxymoron, the UN Human Rights Council, but I’ll use it just the same, the Council’s biased treatment of Israel is only one manifestation of the return of the world’s oldest prejudices…It’s called anti-Semitism.”
“For centuries the Jewish people have been demonized with blood libels and charges of deicide. Today, the Jewish state is demonized with the apartheid libel and charges of genocide,” Netanyahu said, referring to a speech given by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at the UN General Assembly.
Highlighting the irony of an organization that allows “a man who wrote a dissertation of lies about the Holocaust, and who insists on a Palestinian free of Jews, Judenrein,” Netanyahu questioned why Abbas would be allowed to “stand at this podium and shamelessly accuse Israel of genocide and ethnic cleansing.”
As the threat of anti-Semitism rears its ugly head among “polite society,” Netanyahu vowed that the Jewish people would “defend ourselves against our enemies” and “will expose their lies against us in the court of public opinion.”
“Israel will continue to stand proud and unbowed,” he added.
Closing off his speech and driving his point home, the prime minister echoed the ancient Biblical words of the prophet Isaiah, who “taught us nearly 3,000 years ago in Jerusalem to speak truth to power:”
“For the sake of Zion, I will not be silent. For the sake of Jerusalem, I will not be still. Until her justice shines bright, and her salvation glows like a flaming torch.”
“Let’s light a torch of truth and justice to safeguard our common future,” said Netanyahu.
