Most of the Jews living in Ukraine are now filling out paperwork to prepare for emigration to Israel if necessary, Ukraine’s chief rabbi, Yaacov Dov Bleich, said Sunday in a radio interview.

While he stopped short of calling for mass evacuation, Bleich said he is encouraged by those Ukrainian Jews who are making Aliyah, or emigrating to the Jewish state, to “take care of themselves.”

In an interview on Aaron Klein’s Sunday night radio show on New York’s 970 AM The Answer, Bleich squarely blamed the violence ripping the country apart on Russia and its allies in Ukraine.

He stated, “All of the violence, and when I say all, I mean every single case of violence of Ukrainian against Ukrainian has been instigated and implemented by the pro-Russians – initiated, implemented, instigated.”

Regarding Ukraine’s Jewish community, which has been facing an increasingly hostile environment, Bleich stressed he is not calling for mass evacuation “and we aren’t telling people to run away because who knows what will happen, what will be.”

He continued: “We still are quite optimistic. However, at the same time, most of the Jews and whoever has a possibility is preparing documents so that if they want to make Aliyah there will be nothing to hold them up.”

Rabbi Yaacov Dov Bleich

Bleich told Klein that of Ukraine’s estimated 360,000 Jews, about 120,000 are elderly and would have difficulty moving to a new country.

“So it’s not so simple to just call for mass evacuation, because we don’t have right now the ability, the possibility, the funds or the manpower to evacuate elderly people and people who don’t have any way or any means to make Aliyah,” Bleich said. “However, those that could and are, like I said, it’s a great thing. And they should make Aliyah. They should take care of themselves.”

Earlier today, a group of 19 Ukrainian Jews reportedly arrived in the Jewish state, with the Jewish Agency releasing statistics showing 2014 has so far evidenced a 142-percent increase in Ukrainian immigration to Israel compared to 2013.

Bleich addressed Friday’s deadly gunfights between pro- and anti-Russian groups in the Ukrainian city of Odessa, telling Klein he has information the death toll has reached at least 40 amid media reports of 31 killed.

He said Friday’s clashes were “also instigated and initiated by the pro-Russians, who attacked a peaceful demonstration of Ukrainian unity as they have done dozens and dozens of times throughout eastern and southern Ukraine over the last two months. They were attacked by baseball bats, and what was added is that people were shot.”

Commentary

There is no turning back from the road to World War 3 and Armageddon which follows. All we can do is pray along with God’s prophetic plan and watch. The forces are now in motion that cannot be reversed.

America continues to weaken with Russia and China filling the void. I see Russia as unstoppable now, and what is coming into focus is Russia as the dominant European power. This is so Ezekiel 38/39 is fulfilled. We are now living in the time that all the prophetic pieces are coming together. The Day of LORD is still a ways off, but drawing closer as the road to World War 3 is wide open.

Please stay focused on the Lord Jesus and His coming for His bride. The world’s events are changing nothing about the Lord coming for us. What it does is crunch the time that the rapture has to be soon. As we see the players coming into focus for Armageddon, then the Lord’s coming for us must be very close.

This is not the time to hide or be fearful, but it is the time to be a bold and faithful witness for Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible.

May the Holy God of Israel bless and protect you.

Moscow ‘stranglehold’ targets Western Europe 05/04/14 This is a great article to show how Russia has a noose around the neck of Europe. God has given Europe into the hands of the Russians. This is to fulfill Ezekiel 38/39.

The same can be said for limiting U.S. options, since the U.S. needs access across Russia to supply U.S. troops in Afghanistan through the Northern Distribution Network. And it requires the Kremlin’s help in attempting to bring an end to the civil war in Syria and to work with Iran on its controversial nuclear program, which the West believes is a cover for developing nuclear weapons.”

Russia’s buildup on the Ukraine border 05/03/14This is not a war game but for real war.

A top adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei boasted of Iran’s robust influence in the Middle East Saturday, claiming victory in Syria, and said that his country’s first line of defense is now the Lebanese border with Israel.

“Our frontmost line of defense is no more [in southern Iran], rather this line is now in southern Lebanon [on the border] with Israel, as our strategic depth has now stretched to the Mediterranean coasts and just to the north of Israel,” Yahya Rahim Safavi said in a speech to a group of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) veterans, the semi-official Fars news outlet reported Saturday.

Iran has long maintained hegemony in southern Lebanon via its support of the Hezbollah terror group, which is seen as Tehran’s regional proxy.

Safavi said Iran’s strategy of supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad against an insurgency had succeeded in thwarting Western powers.

“Certainly, the US, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and the European countries’ strategy to overthrow [Syrian President] Bashar Assad has failed and this failure is a strategic failure for the western, Arab and Zionist front and a great victory for the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said.

Iran is the Assad regime’s staunchest ally and has exhibited the extent of its regional influence in helping to turn the tide of the Syrian civil war in Assad’s favor.

For much of the war Hezbollah declined to get involved, but sent troops last year after reportedly receiving pressure to do so from Iran.

Since Hezbollah became involved, forces loyal to the regime have made major gains in the war, pushing rebels out of key areas along the Lebanese border.

While Iran was shut out of an international peace conference on Syria in January, many analysts have questioned whether a peaceful solution can be attained without the Islamic Republic’s involvement, and numerous countries, including Russia, as well as the UN, have lobbied for its inclusion.

Just to give you all some advanced warning then, I will be taking a full day's conference at the lovely location of Nancy's Farm, in Bassaleg, near Newport on Saturday the 6th September. I will probably also be speaking at the City of Refuge Church in Bassaleg on Sunday, the 7th September.

There may be one or two more meetings on the Thursday and the Friday, but I will give you good notice of the meetings when they are finalised.
