Syrian MP: Army Has Green Light to Respond to Israeli Attacks

The Syrian regime’s army has the green light to respond to any future Israeli attack without referring back to its “leadership,” a Syrian lawmaker told a Lebanese television station on Wednesday, according to Al Arabiya.

“Next time, if Israel dares to breach the Syrian airspace, there are orders to retaliate with fire and missiles without referring back to the leadership,” Ahmad Shalash told the al-Mayadeen television network which is close to the Hizbullah terror group.

“Let it all out, they want an open war, let it be an open war, we don’t have a problem,” he was quoted as having said.

Shalash vowed that the Syrian regime army will continue to fight for embattled President Bashar Al-Assad to “the ends of world.”

Assad told Hizbullah’s Al-Manar television last week that there was "popular pressure" to open a military front against Israel on the Golan Heights, and warned his country would bomb Israel if it attacks Syria again.

“There is clear popular pressure to open a new front of resistance in the Golan," he said. “This is a political-ideological matter that will eventually turn into a military one.”

Syria’s Information Minister, Omran al-Zoubi, recently warned Israel that his country had a right to launch an operation against the Jewish State from the Golan Heights.
Al-Zoubi said that Israel committed an aggression against Syria recently by raiding military sites near Damascus. With these acts, he said, Israel violated international commitments.
"Accordingly, Syria has the right at this time and at any other time to deal with the Golan issue in the way the owner has the right to deal with his property, because the Golan is and has always been a Syrian Arab land," he said.
The Israel Hayom newspaper reported on Wednesday that Israeli defense officials believe that Hizbullah has been trying to establish a strategic foothold in the Syrian Golan Heights to facilitate attacks on Israel from that area.
Although the organization still has a long way to go before it has a permanent presence in the area, its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has recently indicated the existence of such a plan, the newspaper reported.

Hizbullah may have concluded that the ongoing instability and the incessant battles between the rebels and the regime loyalists in the Golan Heights presents a fleeting opportunity to establish a base of operations in the area before it falls under the control of the rebels, should that happen.

While Israeli officials believe Hizbullah’s new infrastructure would not be set up "overnight," they stress that the terror group is determined to put this plan into action as part of its efforts to prop up the Syrian regime with the help of Iran, reported Yisrael Hayom.

Several thousand Hizbullah terrorists, some of whom hail from its elite units, are taking an active role in the fighting in Syria, and have reportedly been using rockets and anti-tank missiles on rebels.

Last week they commandeered old Russian-made Syrian tanks and used them to fight the rebels in Qusayr, a contested town on the Syria-Lebanon border.

Report: Iran, Hizbullah to 'Fight to the Death' for Assad

Iran and Hizbullah are doing everything they can to keep Bashar Assad in power in Syria, said a special report by the The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC), an independent organization that keeps track of terror groups and activities in the Middle East and around the world. “For Iran and Hizbullah, the preservation of Bashar Assad's regime is of supreme strategic importance,” ITIC says in its latest report.

The assistance is mutual, the ITIC report says; Syria helps Hizbullah and Iran as much as they help Israel's implacable enemy. “Syria is Iran's greatest 'resistance camp' ally, providing it with a firm foothold in the heart of the Middle East, as well as political and military influence” said the report, released Tuesday. Meanwhile, “Syria plays a vital role in Hizbullah's military buildup, helping it to build offensive and deterrent capabilities against Israel. For Iran and Hizbullah, the fall of the Syrian regime would be a disaster, it would weaken Iran's regional position against the United States and Israel and damage Hizbullah's military capabilities and political influence in Lebanon,” ITIC said.

Iran and Hizbullah are looking to the future, as well. On the assumption that Sunni forces represented by the Syrian rebel groups plan to continue their attempts to wrest controls of at least parts of the country – as Bashar Assad appears, at least for now, unable to get rid of the rebels – Iran and Hizbullah are “making it possible for the Shi'ites and Alawites to defend themselves by founding a 'popular army,'” consisting of 100,000-150,000 soldiers. The force would “give Iran and Hizbullah a foothold in the areas populated by Shi'ites and Alawites, making them important factors in the internal Syrian arena in the post-Bashar Assad era,” ITIC said.

While recent reports indicate that Hizbullah has only recently become involved in helping Assad, the ITIC report said that “Hizbullah was involved in the first year of the civil war in Syria but was careful to keep a low profile. In 2012 it sent a limited number of its military operatives to Syria, mainly as advisors and for security missions.

“Hizbullah was actively drawn into the war (as opposed to Iran's caution) during the first half of 2013,” the report said. “That was because both in Iranian and Hizbullah assessment, the survival of the Syrian regime was in jeopardy and that Shi'ite religious-sectarian interests were being threatened. However, despite its having fallen into the Syrian cauldron, Hizbullah's direct involvement in the war is still relatively limited and its influence on overall events in Syria is secondary. In our assessment, however, its involvement may grow as the Syrian regime weakens and the dangers to Iran and Hizbullah's strategic interests increase,” the report added.

The high-information voters know that the objective of Islamic fundamentalists is world domination. The prominent Islamic Imam Abu Islam has said as much on Egyptian television. There are several examples of UK Islamic supremacist Anjem Choudary of Great Britain saying at both his rallies and in mainstream media interviews on USA and British television that the “Flag of Islam will fly over the White House.”

Here is Bill O’Reilly in an exchange with Charles Krauthammer, laughing at Choudary after playing a clip of Choudary’s comments made to ABC’s Christiane Amanpour. Note how O’Reilly says the only way a black flag will fly over the White House is by force. That’s exactly what the Muslim Brotherhood forces in the U.S. want westerners to believe, in part, because their plans to do so do not involve force. In this sense, O’Reilly is being deceived.

Based on what we have uncovered with Mama Sarah Obama Foundation (MSOF), President Obama’s brother Malik Obama’s fake charities that support terror and the US foreign policy that has set up the Middle East to empower Turkey and recreate the Caliphate would suggest a pattern of major support for the Islamic agenda. We also know that Libya’s Colonel Kaddafi was a very popular leader in Libya and the Muslim Brotherhood only commanded at most ten per cent support amongst the people of Libya yet Obama empowered Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood to take over that country. Obama betrayed Hosni Mubarak the president of Egypt who was a long time ally and maintained the peace with Israel as well as the President Obama unwillingness to support the Iranian people in overthrowing the Mullahs. This, along with the behavior of Barrack Hussein Obama, would seem to indicate that the Black Flag of Islam is already flying over the White House.

President Obama has governed as much as he can, just like a Muslim Caliph might govern. Obama was a Constitutional scholar so for him to act in such a way is even more troubling because of all people, he should know what the Constitution states and how a legitimate president can act or not act. However, this is exactly what Barack Obama intended all along; he was studying our Constitution so he could best understand his enemy – the United Sates of America. Understanding the agenda of our Islamic enemies is something we as country have failed to do.

It is now apparent to anyone who has an ounce of intellectual honesty (hopefully that is at least 65% of the country) that this President has been and continues to be completely dishonest with the American people and he employs people who are also prepared to lie and cover for him. The latest outrage (outrages are happening almost daily now) is that Susan Rice – former UN ambassador who was sent out to lie on five Sunday talk shows about a YouTube video being behind the attacks in Benghazi – has just been rewarded with the position of National Security advisor to his Highness. If Susan Rice had any personal integrity, she would seek to distance herself from this President based on how she was set up by both her President and her old boss at the State Department – the 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who is another disgraceful purveyor of lies. Rice has proven to be loyally to the President as she now accepts the consolation prize of National Security Adviser after being turned down for Secretary of State. If you lie for his Highness to save him for his reelection you will get rewarded big time.

Rice didn’t just do that though; she lied on a matter of national security and now she will be the National Security Advisor. Attorney General Eric Holder should have been dumped along time ago for his Fast and Furious lies but Obama needs his willing liars to do his bidding so he stands by them for as long as he can so he can advance his real agenda, which is to weaken the United Sates so its enemies can dominate us. The promotion of Susan Rice also sends a message to those who have been pushing for Holder’s resignation; that message seems to be that Holder isn’t going anywhere.

Obama is doing a fabulous job up to now. Now that the gullible public is starting to wake up courtesy of the IRS scandal, which is the one scandal that Americans can really identify with as it affects their own personal liberty. Hopefully, we as a nation, can finally rid ourselves of the first President of the United States who was born Muslim and carries out policies to benefit the Islamic agenda. Yasser Arafat was an active supporter of terror, a deceiver, a thief and a money launderer as well as a liar, so does the current president more resemble Yasser Arafat or Abraham Lincoln? I know which one he resembles but when will enough of the American public awaken to the same conclusion?

PA Arabs Fete 'New Mahdi," Establishment of Calpihate

Thousands of PA Arabs participated in a mass rally in Ramallah earlier this week calling for the establishment of the Muslim Caliphate – the worldwide Islamist government that will “bring the coming of the Mahdi.” the Muslim messiah.

The Caliphate is essentially a union of Muslim countries under the spiritual and political leadership of a single individual, the Caliph. It has been an Islamic concept since the days of Muhammad, when it was established by several of his disciples. The office of “official Caliph” has been disputed at times, with rival would-be Caliphs battling each other for the title.

The last official Caliph was Abdülmecid II, who lost the office in the aftermath of the defeat of Ottoman Turkey in World War I. The best-known Caliph in the West was Suleiman the Great, an early Ottoman sultan who, in the 16th  century, conquered most of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, even conquering parts of Europe, until he was stopped at “the Gates of Vienna.”

With many Muslim states politically and religiously divided, and dependent on the West for support, radical Islamists have been pushing for the reestablishment of the Caliphate – this time to be led by the all-powerful Mahdi, who will unite all Muslims and establish Islam as the dominant religion in the world, ruling for several years before the "Day of Judgment". Although the identity of the Mahdi is a secret, many Islamists believe that he is alive now, and several individuals have claimed the title. Many Islamists were said to have believed that Osama Bin-Laden was the Mahdi, or his right-hand man, until he was killed several years ago by U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

The Ramallah rally included many students from Bir-Zeit University, the PA's most prestigious university located north of Jerusalem and a major recipient of economic funding from the EU and the United States. Marchers gathered at a large mosque in El Bireh, a suburb of Ramallah, and marched to Manara Square, a large gathering place in central Ramallah. Speakers at the rally urged believers to “have faith” in the future, to give up their Western ways, and to do more to fulfill the tenets of Islam.

The rally was sponsored by Ḥizb at-Taḥrir (Party of Liberation), which has its own Mahdi candidate – organization leader Ata Abu Rashta, born in Mandatory Palestine and a long-time resident of a refugee camp near Hevron. Speakers at the rally said that Abu Rashta, as Mahdi, would unify Muslims and establish Sharia law in countries around the world. In addition, the speakers called for unity among all Muslims in order to ensure “victory in Syria,” the “liberation of Palestine from the hated Jews,” and the “freeing of mankind from the chains of capitalism.”

Deployment of a Patriot missile battery and F-16 fighter jets to Jordan was approved over the weekend, a U.S. Central Command spokesman said.

Delivery of the weaponry, as part of a multinational training exercise, was approved by U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, CNN said Monday, noting a broader message is being sent.
"In order to enhance the defensive posture and capacity of Jordan, some of these assets may remain beyond the exercise at the request of the government of Jordan," said Lt. Col. T.G. Taylor, a spokesman at the U.S. Central Command.
The missiles, which will be sent from Fort Bliss, Texas, can provide Jordan defensive capabilities as concern grows that Syrian missiles are being shipped to Hezbollah in nearby Lebanon, CNN said. It added the F-16s and their crews will train with Jordanian combat air forces

Kenneth Clarke (giggling nervously): “Erm, yes, well, I’m sorry to tell you, Number One, that we’ve had some technical trouble with the laser-firing satellite in geostationary orbit.”

Kissinger: “And what vould zat be?”

Clarke: “Well, Number One, it isn’t in geostationary orbit any more. It fell from the skies, and crashed in the wastes of Siberia.”

I begin with this scene, featuring two of the stalwarts expected at the imminent annual meeting of the Bilderberg Group, in honour of those who believe that this infamously secretive outfit is Ian Fleming’s S.P.E.C.T.R.E. brought to life. Since its inception in the Netherlands in 1954, so many have come to regard it as a deeply sinister organisation bent on worldwide domination that it seems almost cruel to reprise one of the very few facts we do know: that the venue for Thursday’s gathering is not a subterranean cavern staffed by boiler-suited drones tending stolen nuclear warheads, but a hotel, more commonly patronised by England footballers, in Watford.

Is it credible that a truly evil network would meet in an unglamorous suburb famous as Elton John’s birthplace (wrongly, he was actually born in Pinner)? Those convinced that Watford is no bar to the hatching of fiendish plots will pitch up at The Grove on Thursday to shout abuse at the predominantly Anglo-European Goliaths of statesmanship, commerce, academia, media, intelligence and the military. In accord with solemn Bilderberg tradition, the hotel and its grounds (in which Bilderbergians are thought to bond primally by communally peeing against trees) will be off-limits to all but the members. The perimeter will be heavily guarded lest protesters distress the poor loves with their chants. To this end, fellow taxpayers, you and I will be stumping up a couple of million quid for the policing.

While that equates to a few pence each, it does seem a bit rich to be subsidising a jolly for the extremely powerful about which we will learn precisely nothing. No outsider is ever permitted to attend the talks, formal and informal, and no Bilderbergian to divulge a word of what is said. Why such an organisation provokes such suspicion is beyond me. Yet for no sounder reasons than the omerta and the rarefied nature of the yearly-changing gang, it excites a vast range of conspiracy theories from both the bananas Left and the crackpot Right.

Some posit that, despite guest lists having featured Margaret Thatcher and a smattering of European royalty (the Princes Philip and Charles included), Bilderberg exists to impose Marxist totalitarianism across the globe. Disregarding the occasional attendance of Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and Shirley Williams, others see it as a fascist powerhouse pulling the strings of its puppets in citadels of democratic power in pursuance of – yes, I think you guessed it – a New World Order.

Among its fiercest critics is Lyndon Larouche, a serial US presidential wannabe turned shock jock, who is convinced that the worldwide drugs trade is controlled by our Queen. Sane people have their concerns too, and there is something weird and unsettling about a network of massively influential people so dedicated to guarding its privacy.

In 2001, in a rare breach of the code of silence, founder member Denis Healey admitted this: “To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair. We couldn’t go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people… So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing.”

Lord Healey is a mischievous man (he used to answer his telephone claiming to be a Chinese laundry), so perhaps we should take the world government schtick with a tub of Saxa. But if true, is the peacenik pipedream of a utopian crypto-oligarchy formed in the early days of the Cold War so terrible? Or was that a clumsy cover story for the real-life S.P.E.C.T.R.E.?

So many questions, so few answers. Although the Group has yielded to criticism this year by appending a press office, the mysteries will endure. If they are to be penetrated, we need not 007, but a George Smiley figure to turn the Bilderberg Karla. But who is the giant spider at the centre of the web? Is it Dr Kissinger, cast to type, or Ken Clarke, hiding in plain sight as a cuddly centrist? Could it be Bill Clinton, the liberal philanthropist George Soros, or a former director of the CIA? Might the mastermind, as Mr Larouche must suspect, be the woman who tomorrow celebrates the 60th anniversary of her Coronation?

For all the peculiarity, the Bilderberg Group provides a useful public service. It is all things to all manner of paranoiacs, and an equal opportunities offender of every brand of conspiracy theorist. What they discuss in the woods, we will probably never learn. But I have a feeling it would be a grave disappointment if we did, and that a microphone hidden in Urination Ash Tree 17 would relay nothing more blood-chilling than Mr Clarke asking Dr Kissinger if he knew how Notts were getting on in the county cricket, or Peter Mandelson sharing a Mary Berry cake recipe with ex-Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

Bilderberg, Google and the G8: New Global Tax Regime Already in the Works

This year’s annual Bilderberg conference is rapidly approaching – where the world’s political and business elite meet in private to discuss their agenda which will determine future policies that govern global affairs.

Some aspects of this year’s Bilderberg agenda are gradually coming into view, and have the potential for directly affecting not only big multinationals like Google, but every business on the planet.
The secret gathering has been gradually forced into public view in recent years, and the run-up to Bilderberg 2013 has been one of great anticipation and not without its share of news. First came the false start from the alternative media regarding the meeting’s actual location, with many claiming it would be held again at the Westfield Marriot in Chantilly, Virginia. Two months after, the announcement arrived that the meeting would take place 30 minutes north of London, at the Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire, England, and small media circus is expected the year following the announcement that a ‘Bilderberg Fringe’ festival is being organized adjacent to the venue – an event certain to attract hundreds, if not thousands of revelers, press and alternative media personalities. Add to this the news that long time Bilderberg sleuth and American Free Press correspondent, Jim Tucker had passed away on April 24th. Few people would even know the Bilderberg meetings ever took place if not for 30 years of digging and reporting by veteran journalist Tucker.
Beyond all the fanfare, however, the central question still remains: what items will be on the agenda at this year’s ultra-secret transatlantic steering committee? The answer to this question may be hidden in plain site.
Google is currently engaged in a battle over unpaid taxes in the UK, and which has led political commentators to now call for a new system of global taxation. Not surprisingly, this has become the chief topic of discussion at a series of global summits taking place during May and June.
Here’s how this major issue rose out of the Google debate, and how it will be folded into Bilderberg’s 2013 agenda, and later to the G8 Summit shortly thereafter…
Google’s Big Tent: ‘A Digital-Davos’
This past week witnessed another major global conference held at the very same Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire. The parallels to Bilderberg are striking – they share the same guests, the same venue, observe similar codes on conduct, and no doubt have similar items on their agenda. Google’s ‘Zeitgeist’ Global Summit, or “Big Tent” event, is effectively the internet’s version of a ‘Digital Davos’, where ‘the best and the brightest’ are invited to hear the latest ‘big ideas’, with debates and keynote speeches from the likes of Bill Clinton (Bilderberg member), UK Chancellor George Osborne, UK Labour Party leader Ed Miliband and other celebrities including Stephen Hawking.
It’s worth pointing out here that both Osborne and Miliband have played the role of Google’s adversary in public during their corporation tax row, yet they are the corporation’s VIP guests in private.
Beyond the high profile talks and entertainment, there were of course, some serious discussion about ‘big ideas’ taking place under the big tent. This year’s event also required participants to observe ‘Chatham House Rules’, meaning key conversations should be held in the strictest of confidence and not be leaked to the outside world. As with Bilderberg, Google’s Big Tent discusses serious global changes that affect present and future generations – all behind closed doors.
Other persons of note at this year’s Google retreat were former US attorney general and Bush legal brain, Alberto Gonzales, alongside former Secretary of State Hillary ‘innovation’ adviser, Alec Ross, key Putin advisor Arkady Dvorkovich, and Swedish foreign affairs minister, Carl Bildt (Bilderberg attendee 2006-2012). The profile of Google and Bilderberg guests has seen an incredible overlap in recent years, which is a testament to the corporation’s own stated ambition to achieve a global dominion, not only over its marketplace, but over cultural and political life as well. The reality in 2013 is that Google is poised to manage nearly every aspect of our lives – our communications, our work, our social life and even our history.
Bilderberg’s Digital Tycoons
As Google’s global summit runs smoothly into Bilderberg this year, so have the two meeting agendas. Recent years have seen an increase in the influx of digital tycoons present at Bilderberg. Alongside software moguls like Craig Mundie, Head of Research and Strategy Officer at Microsoft (Bilderberg attendee 2006-2012), and Google CEO Eric Schmidt (Bilderberg attendee 2007-2011), the social media kingpins have also moved in to occupy key positions in Bilderberg’s top steering committees.
A key player in amongst them is Peter Thiel (left), head of Clarium Capital, the digital investment house that provided the financial clout which allowed for online ventures like Paypal, Facebook, LinkedIn and Friendster to dominate their digital marketplaces. Thiel was promoted to Bilderberg committee head in 20ll and has emerged as a key player not only in the online industries, but also as an influencer in US political spheres, gaining attention recently as a prominent backer of Kentucky’s Republican junior Senator Rand Paul.
New global ‘Google Tax’ already in the works
The convergence of the Google Summit, its tax battle, and Bilderberg 2013 may seem innocent enough on its surface, but the timing is no mere coincidence. UK leadership have whipped up a frenzy in the media over Google’s alleged tax sins, leaving the public clamouring for a solution. The words “never let a good crisis go to waste” certainly chime in well here.
Two weeks ago, a major UK clash erupted between No. 10 Downing Street and Google over the issue of corporate tax evasion. Google’s Matt Brittin was grilled by the UK’s Commons Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and its chair Margaret Hodge, who accused Google “doing evil” by using an elaborate array of offshore entities in a “smoke and mirrors” financial maze designed to avoid paying any significant tax into UK coffers. Both PM David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne also came out loudly in public accusing Google of being ‘immoral’. Google is said to have only chipped in 6 million GBP in 2011 out of its 3 billion GBP turnover in that same year. Google’s Peter Baron claims its in full compliance with UK law, issuing the public statement last week that, “None of the allegations put to us change the fact that Google pays the corporate tax due on its UK activities and complies fully with UK law.”
Will Google throw in the towel and submit to a British tax resolution?
The fact of matter is Google is powerful and with a net worth that trumps some countries. These days much of the world’s commerce runs through Google in some way, and their brand recognition and money buys influence in Britain, and everywhere else it seems. So it’s doubtful that any British politico could strong-arm Google. Behind the scenes both Google and Britain’s political elite share a place at central planning’s top round table – as members of the Bilderberg Group and that’s where the really ‘big ideas’ are not just discussed, but actually transmitted into policy.
As the public feud between Google and Downing Street takes centre stage, backstage both UK Chancellor George Osborne and Google CEO Eric Schmidt – both committed fellow Bilderberg members, are said to have met in private at the Google event, and are poised to do so again at Bilderberg 2013. Both have attended the annual meeting almost continuously since 2006.

So this apparent Punch ‘n Judy match between Google and Downing Street appears just three weeks before this year’s Bilderberg summit, and four weeks before the G8, and suddenly the UK government and media outlets have become infested with a the new talking point: “we need for a new ‘global profit tax’.
While addressing the Google tax loophole, the UK’s Independent newspaper led by its liberal-leaning economics editor Ben Chu, goes on to essentially lay-out what is likely to be at the top of the agenda at Bilderberg 2013:
“The cascade of revelations in recent months showing multinational companies doing a huge amount of business here and yet paying virtually no corporation tax has provoked widespread public demands for something to be done. 
National governments could and should try to put a stop to this egregious “profit shifting” on their own. But a unilateral approach is plainly second best.
The natural solution is to secure an agreement by all the world’s governments to tax the profits of multinational firms collectively and to divide up the revenues fairly between them. This division could be based on the amount of business done by the multinational in their various territories as revealed by their turnover and number of employees.”

Global tax means global governmentSo is Google supplying the Trojan horse needed to implement a global taxation system that many have been warning about for so many years? Maybe.
Will Bilderberg’s global elite use this perfect crisis moment as a pretext to build the framework for global taxation? Most likely.
If the idea passes through Bilderberg in June, will it then be rubber stamped later at the G8? Highly likely.
Although happy to float such a revolutionary idea in the media in advance of back-to-back Google and Bilderberg summits at the Grove Hotel, and later at the G8, one thing which global taxation advocates fail to mention here is that if you institute a global taxation system then you would then need a global government to administrate it. Yes, you heard that right: global taxation = global government.
It would be naive to think that any tax could be levied without a government standing behind it. That is, after all, part of the definition of a tax. Campaigners will deny it exists, but the reality is that global governing bodies have already been put into place long ago.
UK Column Editor Mike Robinson explains, “I think that the embryonic global institutions are already in place, and we’re going to see them being given more and more real ‘jobs’ to do as time goes on, and collecting corporation tax is clearly going to be one of those”.
History can certainly prove one thing: that the world’s wealthiest individuals corporations have consistently exploited all international tax loopholes for years now. Whatever commentators like Ben Chu and others are proposing will obviously be much easier to enforce on small to medium size businesses, as well as individual traders – all of whom have significantly less political leverage (and no invitations to Bilderberg) than the Googles and Facebooks of the world.
Post-Bilderberg: G8 Summit
Following the ratification of Bilderberg’s 2013 agenda in Watford on June 6–9th, the next step is normally to disseminate this same agenda on to the G8 heads of state. Conveniently, this year’s G8 summit will held June 17-18 at the Lough Erne golf resort in Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. David Cameron and George Osborne’s new plan for Google is already expected to be very high on the agenda at the G8 meeting, where world leaders including Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin will be in attendance. Henceforth, ahead of the G8, the UK government is expected to play their key role in promoting the new global tax system, by publically advocating, “new strong international standards to make sure that global companies pay the tax they owe.”
Coincidentally, this year’s G8 in Northern Ireland will be the biggest police operation in country’s history (and that’s saying a lot), with an estimated 8,000 officers from the surrounding counties, and from as far as England and Wales, all drafted in to secure the area for what many now believe has essentially become a global government operations meeting in all but name.
Other recent attempts at a global tax
The financial component of this global tax and government equation is actually already in place, and that is the World Bank. The first administrative working model for a global taxation structure was originally unveiled in 2009 at the United Nations Climate Summit in Copenhagen. Delegates at that event floated their plan for a global carbon tax that would be collected and then deposited into a slush fund which was to be administered by the World Bank. There plan also entailed the poorer, developing nations footing most of the bill for this operation, while the wealthier nations would receive a free pass. The secret plan was thwarted at the last minute thanks to the infamous Danish Text Leak, which were serialized in the Guardian newspaper at the time.
Although popular in socialist circles, few have dared reveal the true picture of a global tax regime for fear of triggering a public backlash. Another such tax proposals have been pushed into the public sphere through the Occupy Movement in 2011, with called for a global tax on financial transactions, or a global “Robin Hood Tax”. As was the case in Copenhagen two years earlier, proponents called for a tax structure without borders, yet few dared mention who would be in charge of administering and distributing the revenues. Such plans pose the very real danger of further centralizing power into the international banking community who would be asked to handle and perhaps hypothecate on these enormous slush funds.
Which brings us back to this latest global ‘google tax’ proposal, which ultimately begs the question: when will their global government structure be unveiled?
Serving the global collective
The media and political elite will have the public believe that there are not enough laws and regulations already in place to deal with apparent problems like large multinationals avoiding corporation tax. The fact is there are regulations in place, and all that is needed is to tighten them. So why jump ahead to insist a global tax system is necessary to solve the issue?
Plans for erecting an entirely new global tax system should worry anyone who values the concept of national sovereignty because any solution that entails the collection of  tax by way of elite international “collective”  of nations, and where “revenues are to divided up fairly between them” is suggesting a form of global collectivism, or communism. This is also the fundamental problem with EU plans to levy new taxes on member nations – for any citizen it’s simply another master to serve.
It starts with corporate tax, and once that door is opened, it’s anyone’s guess how wide their new regime will stretch.
Shocking as that may be, these issues are exactly what is being discussed behind closed doors at each of these global summits taking place in May and June of 2013.
What’s worse, is that this entire construct could be ushered in without any vote being cast by an citizen in the individual countries – which is about as undemocratic as it gets. This remains one of the fundamental flaws at the heart of the ultra-liberal utopian ideal which is global government.
