GOD RESTRAINS THROUGH DIVISION AND THE MYSTERY OF LAWLESSNESS by BRIAN GEMMELL.

2 Thessalonians 2: 1-12; Genesis 10:25; Genesis 11: 1-9; Acts 17:2-32.

INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL OUTLINE.

In the current geo-political climate of globalisation, observed on one hand, and the extreme international tensions between nations on the other, it is an appropriate time to examine the Scriptures to see how the living God of the Bible deals, and has dealt with, the gentile nations.

There is a clear start point in Genesis 10 with the incident at Babel where God divides the human race into parts by breaking up the unity of speech and thought that had hitherto prevailed. Mankind had been one complete and cohesive race but after Divine intervention they not only spoke differently between differing "family" groups, but they became separate nations, cultures, sub-cultures and races.

This was not God "getting His own back" because of mankind’s rebellion towards Him but rather an act of mercy and grace. Uninhibited human rebellion accumulates evil and leads to a speedy judgement. By dividing the race God applied a restraining mechanism on human behaviour and upon Satan’s underhand influence and control.

The breakdown of communication between men resulted in a slowing of their command and control, disrupted their education and development of technology, and replaced co-operation with competition. Delaying the inevitable judgement gave time for repentance, forgiveness and a relationship with YHWH God Himself.

Had God not held back mans unified development, then the headlong charge by the human race into universal rebellion and worldwide wickedness under Lucifer’s guiding hand would have brought the conditions that we see today and a world ripe for judgement, indeed, for The Judgement.

But our merciful God, in His limitless love for mankind enforced a separation of cultures which not only slowed down technological advance but kept the organisation and execution of global governance outside of mans reach. Throughout history, and still today, the offer of forgiveness and acceptance by Him was always available.

There was always an alternative and unifying culture available.....that of Heaven upon Earth by submission to Him and living according to His Word, spoken initially through Hebrew prophets and then personally by His Beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The alternatives were typified by two cities, Jerusalem and Babylon, the latter a development of Babel in subsequent generations, giving two distinct cultures, God’s and Satan’s. God’s own plan of redemption, designed to nullify Lucifer and mans rebellion, was set to a timetable, here on planet Earth, and involved the personal presence and ultimate sacrifice of His Son and the calling of a forgiven, cleansed and redeemed community of saved human beings. Judgement was delayed, not abandoned.

But when God’s plan of Redemption has run it's pre-determined course (read Acts 15: 18 & Acts 17:26-32), then He will allow apostasy and rebellion to come to a head for a final conclusion. The amalgam of mans wickedness and Lucifer’s desire to rule them through his substitute for Jesus Christ, will quickly bring the whole race to a critical mass where divine judgement is unavoidable.

Inexorably, global unity without God becomes global unity against God, and against any man or woman, Jew or Gentile, who seeks to obey and follow God’s Word and His Son Jesus, King of Israel and King of Kings. This ultimate rebellion has been restrained by God’s division of the world, but now, (for around the past 100 years), we can see a controlled and ever increasing relaxation of that restraining hand.

In our immediate future, the Tribulation, a relatively short season of Global Governance, One World Religion and Culture contained within a movement of "unity in diversity", a single world currency/financial & monetary system and a universal sense of peace and safety supported by prosperity will be allowed to thrive.

The World will be consumed with a hedonistic lifestyle, and delusion and dominance by Lucifer will intensify with wicked lawlessness as never before. With Restraint and the Restrainer removed, Sin will become full and God’s judgement will fall on all who refuse Him, but except the Global System and its Leader. And it all began at Babel.A more detailed study of the Genesis 10/11 passages will follow soon in part two of this series.

PART TWO. 

After God’s judgement by worldwide flood on the human race (and a judgement on the fallen angels of Genesis 6 who exacerbated the wickedness then on earth), there was a new beginning through Noah and his sons and their subsequent descendants. A mass population explosion took place and mankind began to develop socially and technologically. Genesis chapters 10 & 11 record these events and also show the emergence of a single and successful ruler....Nimrod.

This, man, a great-grandson of Noah through Ham, was a warrior and rebel against the Almighty God. His name in the Scriptures, Nimrod, meaning the Rebel may have been an insulting reference to him by Moses and his given name was probably Gilgamesh. The Hebrew scholar, Josephus, records Nimrod and Gilgamesh as one and the same.

The scripture, "a mighty hunter before YHWH ", should correctly translated read, "a mighty warrior in the face of YHWH". He was vehemently opposed to God. Pagan historical records and folklore of the Middle East present Gilgamesh in the context of a post-flood record as an evil, anti-God tyrant who was debauched, perverted, violent and two thirds man/one third god.

He is also classified as a giant in terms of physical stature. It MAY be that the genetic aberration of the Nephilim of Genesis chapter 6 were passed down via Ham's wife and Canaan ("cursed be Canaan”) and surface later in Nimrod. Genesis chapter 6 gives warning of a later scourge of Nephilim in verse  4, " also afterwards ", and the accounts of Josephus and other ancient writers equate the violence and corruption of Nimrod’s day with that of the pre-flood apostasy and wickedness.

Nimrod is the founder of Babel, Genesis 10:10 "And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech.....", and the Tower therein has clear occultic connections, in addition to its faithless asphalt protection against future flood, in contradiction of God’s rainbow promise of Genesis 9:13.

Genesis 10:25 states, "To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg (meaning division), for in his days the earth was divided....." and this Semitic descendent of Noah is only two generations further down the line than that of Nimrod on Hams side.

It is likely that any division of the earth had been but a short time before his birth, for it to be the event that is reflected in his given name, and the longevity still working in human life at this time makes it entirely possible that division in Nimrod’s day at Babel is referred to here. There are scholars who believe that this is also a Biblical  hint at the post-flood continental drift at a pace of tectonic plate movement unheard of today.

Genesis 11:1.  "Now the whole earth had one language and one speech". Speech here, literally one lip, refers to the sounds made by humans, their accent and the commonly held use of words. One language refers to the content and shared meaning of the words and illustrates that there was one culture and one way of thinking and expressing thought.

There was a single concept of "God", a common understanding of history and philosophy and a sense of a people without divisions or sub-cultures...note: "the WHOLE earth", so Nimrod was effectively the king of a one-world government and a type and shadow figure of the soon to come "Antichrist”.

Genesis 11:2. “And it came to pass as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the Land of Shinar and they dwelt there.". the "east" in Bible typology speaks of apostasy. This is east of Eden the direction of departure, and where the cherubim and flaming sword guarded Eden’s entrance  (Gen 3:24).

It was also signified as a place of departure by Cain who,"went out from the presence of YHWH and dwelt in the land of Nod (Wandering) on the East of Eden". Already the post flood world was using its unity to be independent from God, a state which takes no time at all to become rebellion against God as led by Nimrod.

The use of the geographic description Shinar, immediately makes us think of Zechariah 5: 5-11, where, in the  last days a home is made for "wickedness", typified by a woman in a basket topped with a lead lid and transported by two fallen angels. This is the home base for iniquity and its Mystery...the dominance of global rule of  the human race by the rebellious Lucifer, through his leading earthly appointee.

The phrase "and they dwelt there" is not just an innocuous statement of residence. The clear inference is of a people who have put down their roots in planet Earth and are without godly and Heavenly aspirations. This world is their HOME. Gods people are nomadic, just aliens and strangers passing through in service to their King and awaiting the upward call and the descent of the Holy City.

Earth-dwellers are found in Luke 21:35 as those who are not standing before the son of Man, the Lord Jesus, in the last days and therefore are subject to a coming judgement on "those who dwell on the face of the whole earth".

Revelation 3:10 similarly condemns to the hour of trial (the Tribulation), "...the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth". This concept of dwelling conveys the permanence and attachment which unregenerate humans have to this world, its systems of politics and religions, its material goods, accolades and positions, pleasures and lusts and, of course its god, mammon, behind which Lucifer hides. This is the place where judgement from God falls.

PART THREE.

”Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake (them) thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar (Genesis 11:3 NKJV).

We see in this verse that man-made activity is preceded by communication, i e:" They said... Come let us ". Spoiling their communication will hinder cooperation and slow down their work together making "bricks", which represent that which comes from mans ingenuity and not form relying directly on Gods provision.

Later in Scripture we see the same principle in Egypt (and the enslavement of the Israelites) but here we see a deliberate rebellion and despising of God’s promise to Noah, given in the rainbow.

They are using bitumen/asphalt to waterproof their construction of baked bricks against any future flood and what they do is thorough. It is noteworthy that mankind has to be encouraged to apply diligence in the things of God, but when it comes to his own fleshly projects and rebellion, he is thorough.

There was no faith in the Word of God, publicly emphasised by the rainbow in the sky, and departure from it, apostasy, leads to "rebellion which is as the sin of witchcraft". This quote is from 1 Sam.15:23 and what we see in Genesis 11:4 is a direct fulfilment, as the proposed tower is fully intended for occult purposes as we shall see later.

”And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top (is) in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” (Genesis11:4. NKJV).   

Once more the human race issues a call to a working unity and begins a very practical opposition to God’s plan: "let US build OURSELVES a city......". Remove from the word of God, and the result is always the same.....Godless building of cities leading to anti-God (anti-Christ) towers and edifices.

To understand mans relationship with the concept of "cities" we must invoke the law of first mention and look at Genesis 4:16-17 (NKJV). The scene is set by the introductory phrase "Then Cain went out from the presence of YHWH and dwelt....." which speaks for itself.

Now on his own, Cain builds a city and names it after his own son, starting a dynasty and establishing his own rule, perpetuating a family name. At Babel, the beginning of the kingdom of Nimrod (Genesis 10:8-10), the same self-centered ambition applies. As has been emphasised above, it is for self, and the verse continues to echo this sentiment :"let us make a name for ourselves." We will briefly detour and apply the "city building ambition " to our own lives and ministries.

Hebrews 11:9-10: 13-16; Hebrews 13:12-14 & Revelation 21:1-2, 10.

Hebrews clearly instructs the true believer that we have no continuing city, that is, no enduring dwelling on earth. We are not "earth-dwellers". Our permanent home is the Heavenly City prepared for us by God Himself, for which we wait. Any other "construction" by man is not only pointless but faithless.

Yet even today, within the Church, man persists with building programmes both literal and metaphoric. The concept of growth, development, "planting" and building has replaced the God given agenda for the church, that of true soul winning and discipling.

Denominational expansion, particularly that of the "New" churches and ministries of the late 20th century, has become the goal for many churches. As we will see, Cities soon become Empires. We must beware those whose agenda is the growth of their personal influence, ministry and their organisation.

The question to be asked is this: "Is this a result of moving out of the presence of the Lord?" (Gen 4:16) and are people being truly re-born by the Spirit of God, showing radically changed lives through this ministry? Or are we seeing organisational expansion resulting from man-made bricks and building, with an external rendering of evangelicalism?

Throughout history we observe mans obsession with moving and grouping in cities. City states quickly grow into Empires: Babylon, Nineveh, Greece and Rome! And equally quickly cities become centres of darkness and depravity leading to the building of all sorts of Towers.

Men love towers. From Babel onwards they are a sign of our ingenuity, strength and wealth. They aim for the sky in a declaration of mans ability to engineer and construct bigger and better as time passes. From parish spires to the turrets of great Cathedrals and Abbeys; from Blackpool to the Eiffel, the Burj Kalifa in Dubai, the Petronas Tower in Malaysia and the Empire State to our own famous "Gerkin" these buildings serve "to make a name for ourselves". Significantly the European Union has modelled the European Parliament building on the impression of the original Tower of Babel as envisaged by the artist Brueghel in 1563. Co-incidence??!! I think not.

In Genesis 11:4 the "Tower" ambition of man is nothing short of reaching to the heavens. This was to be a structure to touch the forbidden realm of the spiritual, in full defiance of Gods judgement as displayed on the world by the flood. This is a ziggaraut designed for astrological, occultic contact under the leadership of Nimrod whose prowess moves him to be "a mighty warrior in the face of YHWH". Rebellion is at the root of this activity and Nimrod (a rebel against God /anti-christ type) is leading a united mankind to the unseen realm of the fallen angels with false demonic religion and spirituality. Un-redeemed mans uncontrolled iniquity always leads back to satan himself. This "mystery" persists throughout human history

Not only does mankind, away from God, want to establish an immortality by naming things after themselves (all of us in Christian ministry take heed!) but, in direct disobedience, they do not want to be scattered over the earth as God commanded both Adam and Noah (Gen 1: 28 & 9:1). Rather than walk with God by faith, man chooses "safety in numbers", grouping together in corporate disobedience, advancing the cause of  Self and his own name.

It is always wise to keep our own name discrete and our personal profile low as we serve the Lord Jesus. Seeing our name in print, appearing on television / DVDs, or having our photograph splashed in the Christian media always presents a danger to the flesh as they appeal to that old chestnut...PRIDE! There is no room for celebrity status within the body of Christ for the Crown rests on one place only.... the Head of the Body. God has given only one Name and He does not need Joe Bloggs Ministries, or BRIAN GEMMELL MINISTRIES, either to successfully draw attention to his Word.

In Florida, USA, I once drove past the entrance to a very large and plush estate and property which had a large sign proclaiming "The Benny Hinn Worship Centre". My wife remarked "that seems about right"!!!! Our flesh is subtle and starts small but can end up with an Empire of Self, and we may not even notice.

PART FOUR.

Genesis 11: 5 is an amazing verse, the full impact of which is often  overlooked ....."But YHWH came down..."just as before in Genesis with Adam and later in chapter 18 en route to the judgement at Sodom, the Almighty God visits the planet in person and makes note of mans activities and behaviour. This is the great God whose eyes roam to and fro across the earth, who sees all things from heaven, but here He chooses to come down in an apparently covert mission amongst mankind and see for Himself, at mans level, both the city and the tower.

We have examined the building of both but it is good to re-emphasise that "city building", unsanctioned by the Lord, inevitably leads to the construction of fleshly self-aggrandising towers. Such activity does not go unnoticed by God and always results in a premature termination.  The unfinished nature of the European Parliament Building speaks volumes. Whether it be self centred Christian Ministries or the towering political edifice which is the European Union, God has allowed the seeds of their own destruction to be contained within and, in His perfect time which suits His ultimate plan, they will be incomplete before destruction.

Verses 5, 6 and 7 give us an insight into the just and merciful workings of our faithful God. Divine examination is God's creatorial prerogative. In Babel He finds a city that men built setting the direction for future history! Men built, and did not seek or involve their Creator, (who is building a city which is to be received by those who, like Abraham, have faith in Him, Hebrews 11:10 &16) but rather followed in the way of Cain. (Genesis 4:16-17; and Jude:11). The next verse (v.6) appears to have YHWH speaking in Heaven in the aftermath of His earthly visit, for verse 7 issues a call for a second, and plural ,visitation to earth..."Come, let US go down...".

The comment from the Lord after the examination of men’s independent and Godless works concerns a source of the problem: the unity of the human race and the glue which holds them together, the"one thought" i.e: common culture and communication. Under Divine rule Unity is a blessed thing built, but away from God, mans unity strengthens his resolve against God’s plan, order and rule. God also sees the future and the ultimate system of anti-christ rule that will surely and inevitably follow. Babel is "WHAT THEY BEGIN TO DO". And, concerned about the long term good of his creation and creatures, He sees that anything man proposes to do can and will be done. "..now nothing they propose to do will be withheld from them". Where will it end????? Cloning, cross-species breeding, Space travel in the second millennium...etc.

Under Divine rule this would have been (and one day under the rulership of the Lord Jesus, it will be) a wonderful thing. But under a rebellious human rule it would be Lucifer/Satan who would call the shots in rising against the Almighty God, using all the available resources, know-how and technology to war against the Kingdom of God. Divine retribution on both races, human and fallen angelic, would be swift and final. However God, in wonderful grace and mercy, has another plan which will give time for human repentance and redemption...He will divide and confuse, thereby exercising a restraint on the rise of evil to that critical mass which inevitably brings deserved and irrevocable judgement. Wickedness is constrained, judgement is delayed, redemption is made possible, God will have His will on earth as it is in Heaven.

The Scriptures record the endless pursuit of political and military dominion by the Gentile nations throughout Old Testament times up to the rule of the Roman Empire which was still extant at the time of the Lord Jesus and for several centuries after. Each succeeding empire advances Godless culture, and society sees technological developments used to exert mans independence from God, and consistently persecutes the people of God be they Jewish or Christian.

Whether it is Babylon, Greece or Rome, growth and land-grab by military might and the exploitation of human and natural resources serve to increase the wealth, influence and control of their leaders. They always expand until internal corruption weakens them and a bigger bully comes along and steals their sweeties (candy to American blog readers!!).

But the retarded pace of the growth of these empires and the restrictions on the scientific, social and technological development of them, and their offspring in subsequent centuries, has allowed the Word of God to prosper and travel all over the world. Indeed, some of these developments have been used by the Lord to aid the spread of His Good News; for example koine Greek, the commonly understood language of Alexander's Greek Empire, or the wonderful roads of Rome stretching across Europe, trodden by the feet of the Apostle Paul and many others.

By not allowing evil to come to the point where it was "full" as in the case of the Canaanites/Amorites (in Genesis 15: 16), God gifted to mankind Time....... time for repentance. Acts17: 26 states that"...He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings" (emphasis mine). Because God's marvellous grace is free and limitless, that is infinite. Time stands as a sentry. And in that time grace is available. If there was no restriction on the entry to infinite grace then universalism would be true, because the infinity of that grace would reach all eventually.

But that is not the case. Acts 17 goes on to say in verse 27 "so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him....". Man is given time, beginning, middle, end, so that he should seek for, and find the Lord. Elsewhere several Scriptures assure us that those who seek Him will find Him. It is so for individuals and it is so for the Race as a whole. There is an end to Divine pleading, an end to the time given in which "God commands all men everywhere to repent because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained and He given assurance of this to all by raising from the dead"(Acts 17: 30/31). The "appointed day" is on our near horizon.

So, in anticipation of the fast approaching conclusion of this Gospel era, God allows mankind to move towards a unity that at the right time will cover the whole earth. Genesis 11 shows us Gods interjection into rebellious humanity and the combined work of the Godhead ("Let Us"), bringing confusion by destroying universal communication. That God is sovereign over mans mouth is decreed in Exodus 4: 11 "Who has made mans mouth ?.................Have not I, YHWH?".

Remember too, that the Lord Jesus totally submitted His mouth to the Father's will and only said what He heard from the Father. A single language unites, gives unity of understanding and purpose and simplifies the chain of command that gets things done. Division of language throughout history has slowed down ungodly progress and stopped things "getting done" ....until NOW!! Our next session will cover Gen. 11:8-9 preparing us to study the current Global unity, the simplifying of modern communication all in readiness for the "great and terrible day of the Lord YHWH".

PART FIVE. 

One of the great uniting features of the Industrialised World was the British Empire and the subsequent spread of the English language to almost every part of the globe. Part of the script from Wikipedia gives a clear impression of the influence of the Empire. "At its height it was the largest Empire in history, and for over a century, it was the foremost global power. By 1922 it held sway over 458 million people, one fifth of the worlds population.......and covered almost a quarter of the worlds total land area".

As the centuries moved on, God in His great wisdom, allowed a controlled unifying of populations under the British Crown to accomplish His purposes with respect to Israel as the end of the gentile age appeared on the horizon. It was a time of tremendous prosperity for the United Kingdom and set the foundation of current globalism that is carried forward by the Anglo-Saxon/American Elite today.

Running parallel was the rise of Zionism and practical steps which resulted in the State of Israel being re-founded in 1948. Tragically, for "Great" Britain, deceit, obstruction and downright opposition by the elite Establishment of the country towards the prophetically signalled reformation of Israel, resulted in the accelerated shrinking of an Empire on which "the sun never set", down to the homelands and a few distant small islands. (The strong showing in UK polls for Scottish nationalism seems to herald that the reduction of size and influence is not yet complete.)

But English speaking globalism was not over. The United States of America, at the forefront of financial expansion and wealth creation in the 20th century became the most powerful political/industrial/financial/military force that the world has seen so far, and its political will and power increased its global reach throughout that century.
Several strands of events which are of interest to the prophetic Bible scholar can be seen to draw together.

The ongoing Reformation continues in Victorian times addressing such subjects as, New Testament church structure, as opposed to the then current structures of the main Denominations in Christendom; the covenants of God with Abraham and the Ancient people of God, looking at their continued future under His blessing and greater detail and teaching on the Second Coming of Jesus. The latter subject included the re-discovery and popularising of the truths concerning the translation of the true Church, colloquially known as the "Rapture". It is important to note that the teaching about this miraculous removal of the church from the earth was not a product of the 1800's but had been documented as far back as the writings of Ephraim the Syrian, 306-373, and by the Reformation scholar and theologian Dr John Gill, 1697-1771, to name but two adherents.

At the same time there was an evangelical movement amongst Jewish people in Great Britain and America during which many came to a living faith in the Lord Jesus as their personal Messiah. In the UK this was spearheaded by various missionary organisations, the Mildmay Mission and Christian Testimony to Israel being noteworthy. The Mildmay Mission estimated that in the latter part of the 19th Century over quarter of a million Jewish people found a living faith in Jesus.

On another parallel, the Zionist movement slowly but surely gathered pace. Although Jewish people were always to be found in the land of Israel, and in Jerusalem, the scant regard that the Ottoman Empire had for the Holy Land enabled the steady legitimate purchase of parcels of real estate by them and numbers grew. Visionaries like Theodore Herzl, aided by the evangelical Christian Reverend William Hechler, pressed forward with political and diplomatic pressures resulting in the First Zionist Congress in Basle, Switzerland, in 1897.

Herzl said that within 50 years the state of Israel would exist again. He was right. And some Bible scholars knew that he was right. For instance, the Rev.H.Grattan Guinness had concluded from the study of Scripture that Jerusalem would be released from the Ottoman Empire by the end of 1917, (published in his book, Light for the Last Days, in the 1880s), and that Israel would be reborn in 1948. (The details of the latter information can be found in "The Guinness Legend" by Michelle Guinness, available both new and second hand, from Amazon).

At this time three other relevant movements will be briefly noted.

1. LIBERAL CHRISTENDOM. The rise of the works of so-called "Higher Critics", largely German theologians who did not accept that the Bible was the Word of God and subjected it to an extremely liberal and non-literal interpretation. Apostasy, which automatically follows, lays the bedrock for the liberal infiltration of today’s church, and begins the movement against literal interpretation of God’s Word, especially that which is miraculous, prophetic, dispensational and relating to His unconditional covenants to Israel. Replacement Theology is set to prosper. 

2. DARWINISM. Although "evolution" is only a theory, as stated by Darwin himself, we can see its universal influence in all disciplines, and throughout the World, from its early mid-19th Century beginnings. It has now become a global philosophy and way of thinking, almost a reversal of Babel.

3. MARXISM. Again from beginnings in the mid-1800s this anti-God philosophy and system covers the planet in various guises. The use of the "Marx" title has lost much credibility and is being quietly dissolved but the political decision making which it inspires, still afflicts the globe from China to the Obama Administration in the US, from Cuba to the Government of Norway.

All of the above combine to bring about the globalising world we live in today. The God of Israel, King of the Universe, whilst still exercising control and restrain via division can be observed allowing a greater adhesion of the peoples, and especially of the LEADERS, of our nations leading towards a world-wide unity and a Planetary Union.

The availability of foreign travel over the same period of approximately 175 years has increased vastly, particularly for those living in the Western Hemisphere who have the greatest sway in world affairs. The increase in news media through radio, television and now the internet serves to strengthen ties between people, globalise art and culture and expose the population to the same mind-numbing influences the world over. Even new software which automatically translates languages in real time serves to overturn the consequences of the Divine division revealed in Genesis 11.

The previous liberalism of the 20th century, which greatly affected western educational systems, has now produced a political leadership, and an intelligensia, who think in terms of "internationalism" and do not have a strong sense of national sovereignty. The World Wars of the last century have not only produced unifying global organisations and institutions, (League of Nations, United Nations, EU, World Bank, IMF, WWF, International Court of Justice, International Court of Human Rights, European Parliament, North American Union{proposed}, International Bank for settlements, UNESCO, Nato....etc,etc!!), but a mindset which looks for "countries without borders."

Such a way of thinking is actively promoted by the subsidiary educational institutions of the UN, and by Foundations such as the Lucis (formerly Lucifer!) Trust, the Foundation for Inter-religious and Intercultural Research and Dialogue, begun by Cardinal Ratzinger (now Pope) and Hashemite Prince El Hassan Bin Talal. A similar philosophy emanates from the American Council of Foreign Relations and George Soros's, Open Society Institute. These organisations are continually and professionally indoctrinating the younger elements of our society, from politically aware teens and youth to post-graduates, getting hold of the minds of the next generation of opinion formers and political leaders.

But fear not...our God has an irresistible timetable and events will finally combine to suit and effect His purposes. We can see in recent history, that given a little release for restraint, the human race speedily uses the space to turn against God and his people, both the soon-to-depart true Christians and the future people for Jesus' earthly rule, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel. However until the Lord has called in "the fullness of the Gentiles", the next phase of His plan will not commence, (Romans 11: 25-27). When God has completed calling out of the Gentiles a people for His name, Acts 15:14-18, then the full release of restraint will take place and uncontrolled mankind will display the abject rebellion of which they are capable and from which they have been held back since Babel.

PART SIX:

Developing Global Unity Indicates That Judgement Is Near. 

2 Thessalonians 2: 1-12

 [Note verse 6: "what is restraining" (the thing restraining), and verse 7: " He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way"]

In the above passage, verse 6 refers to an inanimate "what", or "that which", holds back, referring to the mechanism and power that causes restraint, and the next verse refers to the person exercising that restraint. That "Restrainer" is the Holy Spirit of God. His removal which is stated in verses 7-8 clears the way for the public revelation of the lawless one, the Anti-Christ.

Since the Incarnation there has always been a Divine Person, One of the Trinity, permanently resident on planet Earth. Before His departure to Heaven the Lord Jesus breathed into the eleven apostles and said "receive the Holy Spirit". Ten days later, at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended, immersing the one hundred and twenty disciples who were in the upper room....... and the Church was born.

The Temple, the permanent dwelling of God the Holy Spirit on Earth, is the Church of Jesus Christ, specifically, within the bodies of its members, the truly born-again believers. This is a condition which continues today, and will do so, until the Church is removed at the Rapture. The final prayer of Scripture, found in Revelation 22:17, is a joint call by the Holy Spirit and the Church..." The Spirit and the Bride say Come". Here we see the Spirit of God empowering prayer in the Church and calling through the Church simultaneously.

During the church age God has exercised authority and restraint by heeding the Spirit inspired prayer of His people. One unique feature of the Church, and the time of her sojourn on earth, has been the permanent presence and activity of God the Holy Spirit in our midst. No longer coming in visitation to this globe, as at Babel, Sodom, and to the great saints of Israel but residing here, throughout the world, in the church. When, finally, the pleading of Revelation 22:17 is answered, the Holy Spirit and the Church will depart...be taken away!

A typological example of this is seen in Genesis 24 when Rebecca is escorted home to Isaac by the un-named servant of Abraham (a separate essay on this subject will be posted soon).

It is God Himself who exercises power and authority over the demonic world and Lucifer. In Jude 9 the Archangel Michael deals with the enemy by saying "the Lord rebuke you". The Lord God alone has held the Mystery of Lawlessness at bay but has involved the Church through her Spirit inspired prayer life, communicating with Him and participating in His work of restraint.

The instruction to pray for kings and those in authority being a case in point. When the "Restrainer" is removed, that is the departure of the permanent presence of the Holy Spirit from Earth at the Rapture of the Church, then the full force of wickedness is unleashed and the unrestrained plans of Satan and man for a self-governing worldwide empire will come to fruition. There will be NO resistance to the objectives of globalism, one-world culturalism and governance, and a pagan, "New Age" religious hysteria will then sweep the planet.

The dividing control of the Holy Spirit having been removed means that the field is open for every foul spirit to wreak havoc throughout the Babylonian (Babel) System. But it will fall under the judgement of Almighty God as described in Revelation 18. The current accelerating unity of global commerce and banking, of political institutions and the organs of world government backed with a merging of cultures and ever-increasing multi-faith policy in religions indicates that Divine intervention and judgement is approaching.

From Nebuchadnezzar/Babylon through the Greek and Roman Empires via those of Spain, Britain or Nazi Germany to the present day, mankind has tried and failed to achieve global dominion and unity and to present the world with a leader who could hold together the promised, impossible utopia. The Church had learned from Scripture that "a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand", and in the latter of these Empires, the Church prayed; the Holy Spirit restrained; and God divided His enemies! (including the UK for its resistance and obstruction of his Word regarding the restoration of Israel). 

But the prayers of believers which are led by the Holy Spirit are not only to be in tune with the plan of God but also with His timetable found in the chronology of the Bible. The period of the "closedown", or "consummation" (RSV) of the age, that is of the Age of the Church and the Gospel of Grace, is marked by the unity of mankind and the eventual reversal, albeit temporary, of Babel.  One indicator is found in all three synoptic Gospels..." nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom" heralding World War.

Last century saw the FIRST world war and from it a great leap towards global unity in the form of the League of Nations, followed by the London Economic Conference of 1933. Notably. the latter was attended by 600 delegates from 66 nations and was described in the popular media of the day as the first world get-together since the Tower of Babel! On the religious front the organisations which would eventually in 1937-38 form the World Council of Churches begin the process of amalgamation. But the globalising progress was insufficient and too slow for the Illuminist and International Masonic masters of the 20th Century and another global event was orchestrated, viz world war 2!

An outcome of the Second World War was the United Nations, and the plethora of satellite organisations which now accompany it. This has facilitated even greater unifying developments in every facet of life through the globe, as observed by the population, firstly through the lens of terrestrial television and now by satellite TV/internet/i-phone/and whatever-comes-next!

The 20th Century really has seen the beginning of the irreversible "End-Game" of prophetic fulfilment. Accelerating throughout the past hundred years, the on-going unity of the human race signals impending judgement from Heaven. This has been accompanied by a steady departure from Biblical truth in the beliefs and practice of human behaviour the world over, particularly within the so-called "Christian" West. The apostasy within Christendom has paralleled an anti-Christian, multi-faith polemic which dominates humanist and internationalist thinking.

Despite a growing world unity, violence fills the earth and is reported daily in our media. The current evidence (2012) of international relations indicates that a third world war is a real possibility right on our immediate horizon. No doubt the Illuminist Elite require a further "Order out of Chaos" event to bring their nefarious plans for One World Government to final fruition.

The scene is set and the culminating events could precipitate overnight. What God delayed at Babel. He will execute on modern day Babylon, a judgement on the globalist system of commerce, religion and governance which acts as a "mighty warrior in the face of God". Centuries of defiance and outright rebellion against YHWH, His Son and His Word, will bring their own forewarned consequences. Fighting back or hiding in underground bunkers is not a viable option as the power and severity of His righteous, destructive judgement removes all that resists the coming Kingdom of God, the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

PART SEVEN:

FUTURE GLOBALIST INTENTIONS.

The generation which has observed the post WW2 world has seen, amongst many changes, the shrinking of the planet to become the "Global Village" and the accelerating growth of the phenomena we call globalism. As mankind has been propelled together by warfare, pulled closer through huge developments technologically and politically manoeuvred and deceived into monetary and political unions, the pace of "one world-ism" has increased exponentially and a single World Government looms near.

The World Wide Web ties everything together and facilitates instant communication at all levels, from the domestic chatter of families spread abroad, to the secret signals of clandestine Intelligence outfits or Terrorist organisations. As far as the Internet is concerned the world is one place.

The words "Multinational Corporations", which were unknown during our childhood, are now common currency in all languages. And the organisations they represent own most of the world’s large commercial trading enterprises. Furthermore, these Corporations, linked with International Banks, have structures of ownership and control whose tentacles reach right down to the High Street, and often share a common denominator in their institutional shareholders. Ownership of these shares is truly international with the Chinese Government, Middle and Far East interests taking ever higher stakes. From McDonalds to Rio Tinto mining the same companies operate within, and influence the governments of, many countries of the world.

But it is not only the fields of commerce, finance and banking which have been internationalised. Charities and the Voluntary Sector, Non-Government Organisations, Media, the Arts and even Sport now operate on an international level. The Olympics and the "World Cup" immediately come to mind, but from golf to tennis and Formula One to Ping Pong, sporting endeavours transcend borders. The soccer "industry" sees an international pool of players; long gone are the days when a local club was filled with the players born and bred within the city environs. The mind of the population is slowly and subtly seduced towards a borderless world just as George Soros’s "Open Societies" organisation desires.

It appears to be that there has been a deliberately constructed policy to have nations INTER-dependant on one another for resources. Despite huge tonnages of un-mined coal in the UK most of our supplies are now imported. Much of the manufacturing of the UK, and increasingly also the USA, has been shipped East, with China having the lions share. Britain holds major power when it comes to the Financial Services and London is becoming a centre for large financial transactions conducted under Muslim Sharia Law. No one nation can survive alone, independent and self-sufficient. All must be party to regional trading and supply arrangements and these are subject to centralised global control, or, at least, the significant influence of internationalists. The International Monetary Fund, World Bank, the Eurozone and the G20, etc, combine to exert a controlling influence of the monetary and fiscal policies of the majority of nations the world over.

We are seeing the active final preparations for a united yet diversified world, ready for a closing "crisis event" which will be used to usher in the new order of global finance and governance , producing a single president, a "Captain" capable of solving humanities crises and giving the desperately sought leadership. The Global Elite sees Utopia within their grasp....the kingdom of God but excluding God, His Son, His Word and His righteousness. A prosperous, peaceful Global Governance based on humanism is their goal.

And it always has been, as successive generations of so-called illuminated leaders and opinion formers have passed on their Godless vision from the days of Adam Weishaupt the 18th century founder of the Order of Illuminati (for more information check him on Wikipedia). What Bible scholars know as the reign of the Lawless One, the Man of Sin, "that Wicked", the Anti-Christ has never been more likely than in our immediate future. The mystery of iniquity that was already at work when the Apostle Paul penned the second letter to the Thessalonians has, after two more millennia of covert operations, come to the point where the enemy of God and His people can brazenly display his intent and bring his nefarious plans to a crescendo.

So what of the immediate future? The relentless and irrevocable stampede towards a sustainable world under a single sovereignty, controlled by a sole all-powerful leader, will undoubtedly continue. The circle of technological development further facilitating global unity, which in turn stimulates new technology, will also continue to revolve. Scientific progress which is now uninhibited by a Godly morality and the limitations of Biblical behaviour, will take man into unknown and dangerous spheres from which YHWH has protected His creation ever since Babel.

The realm of trans-human development, combining the human DNA with that of other species and even plant life, in total disobedience to Genesis 1:"according to its kind”, will escalate. The final outcome of this is likely to parallel the Genesis 6 Nephilim and will warrant, and receive, final Divine judgement. No doubt the Large Hadron Collider on the Franco-Swiss border will feature highly in these last days. This international project [CERN], the largest piece of scientific equipment of all time costing approximately £7 billion, was dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva in 2004 and a large statue of it is outside the main buildings.

Although presented as the lord of the dance of creation, Shiva is in fact the god of destruction known in Hebrew as Abaddon and Greek as Apollyon. Compare this with Revelation 9:1-12 and comments from CERN officials about encountering the unknown and "this is where science ends and religion and philosophy begin" take on a different meaning. God’s injunction in Genesis 11: "...now nothing they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language....." was essentially for man’s benefit.

The unity of thought and word which God has allowed in these days will bring man and Lucifer’s rebellion to a final head and ensuing judgement will be unavoidable. The sin of the global "Amorites" will be full and complete [Genesis 15:16] and their removal is inevitable. We are on the very edge of the Tribulation time.

The current tensions and uncertainty in the Middle East both internally in Arab States and between Israel and her Ishmaelite neighbours, Iran and the wider Muslim world will shape the next series of prophetic events and may be the trigger mechanism which initiates the conflagration ushering the final detailed stages of World Government. The future roadmap for the believer is the Word of God. However events shape up in the world, our security rests in the faithfulness, love and care of our wonderful Triune God and His eternal promises..."I will never leave you or forsake you", Deuteronomy 13:6 and Hebrews 13:5.

The Year We Lost Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia and Most of the Middle East

About the only people having a Happy New Year in the Muslim world aren't the Christians who are huddling and waiting out the storm, but the Islamists who use a different calendar but are having the best time of their lives since the last Caliphate.

The news that the Obama Administration has brought in genocidal Muslim Brotherhood honcho Yusuf Al-Qaradawi to discuss terms of surrender for the transfer of Afghanistan to the Taliban caps a year in which the Brotherhood and the Salafists are looking to carve up Egypt, the Islamists won Tunisia's elections, Turkey's Islamist AKP Party purged the last bastions of the secular opposition and Libya's future as an Islamist state was secured by American, British and French jets and special forces.

Time Magazine declared that 2011 was the Year of the Protester, they might have more honestly called it the Year of the Islamist. In 2010 the Taliban were still hiding in caves. In 2012 they are set to be in power from Tunisia to Afghanistan and from Egypt to Yemen. They won't go by that name of course. Most of them will have elaborate names with the words “Justice” or “Community” in them, but they will for the most part be minor variations on the Muslim Brotherhood theme.

2011 will indeed be remembered, but not because of any Arab Spring or OWS nonsense. It will be a pivotal year in the rise of the next Caliphate. A rise disguised by angry protesters waving cell phones and flags. And clueless media coverage that treated Tahrir Square as the new fall of the Berlin Wall.

This was the year that Obama helped topple several regimes that served as the obstacles to Islamist takeovers. The biggest fish that Ibn Hussein speared out of the sea for Al-Qaradawi was Egypt, a prize that the Islamists had wanted for the longest time, but had never managed to catch. That is until the Caliph-in-Chief got it for them. Egyptian Democracy splits the take between the Brotherhood and the Salafists, whom the media is already quick to describe as moderates. First up against the wall are the Christians. Second up against the wall are the Jews. Third up is all that military equipment we provided to the Egyptian military which will shortly be finding its way to various “moderate militants” who want to discuss our foreign policy with us.

But there's no reason to sell the fall of Tunisia short or the transition in Yemen. And when mob protests didn't work, NATO sent in the jets to pound Libya until Al-Qaeda got its way there. Turkey's fate had been written some time ago, but 2011 was the year that the AKP completed its death grip on the country with a final crackdown on the military, which has now ceased to be a force for stability.

Left out of the picture is Somalia. Liberals fulminated when Bush helped drive out Al-Shaab and its jolly Muslim lads with a habit of beheading people who didn't grow beards or watched too much soccer. Any number of editorials complained that we had destabilized the country and that the Islamic Courts Union were really a bunch of moderates in disguise.

Sadly Obama has not been able to salvage the position of Al-Shabab which is low on money and has turned to forcing 12 year old girls into prostitution and torturing and murdering those who refuse. They're also forcing the elderly to join its militias. But there is good news. Like every terrorist group, Al-Shabab has gotten itself a Twitter account and when O finds 5 minutes in between vacations and golf tournaments, the White House will order neighboring African countries to withdraw their armies and send in Al-Qaradawi to negotiate.

But even if the Islamists don't get Somalia, they've got a nice chunk of North Africa to chew over, not to mention a few more slices of the Middle-Eastern pie, and Afghanistan will be back in their hands as soon as they manage to outmaneuver Karzai, which given his paranoia and cunning may admittedly take a while. But the Taliban are not big on maneuvers, they have the manpower, which means it's only a matter of time until they do what the Mujaheddin did to the puppet Soviet regime. A history that everyone in the region is quite familiar with.

The ugliest part of this story isn't what Obama did. It's when he did it. If he really had no interest in winning Afghanistan, and if as he had said, the Taliban are not our enemy, then why did we stay for so long and lose so many lives fighting a war that the White House had no intention of winning? The ugly conclusion that must be drawn from the timing of the Iraq and Afghanistan withdrawals is that the wars were being played out to draw down around the time of the next election.

What that means is Obama sacrificed the thousands of Americans killed and wounded in the conflict as an election strategy. The idea that American soldiers were fighting and dying for no reason until the time when maximum political advantage could be gained from pulling them out is horrifying, it's a crime beyond redemption, an act worse than treason– and yet there is no other rational conclusion to be drawn from the timetable.

If the Taliban were not our enemy, then the war should have ended shortly after the election. Instead Obama threw more soldiers into the mix while tying their hands with Rules of Engagement that prevented them from defending themselves or aggressively going after the Taliban. Casualties among US soldiers and Afghan civilians increased. Now the Taliban are no longer our enemy and we are negotiating a withdrawal.

There are only two possible explanations. Either we lost the war or Obama never intended to win it and was allowing the Taliban to murder American soldiers until the next election. If so we're not just looking at a bad man at the teleprompter, we are looking into the face of an evil so amoral that it defies description.
But whatever motives we may attribute to the Obama Administration the outcome of its policies in backing the Arab Spring with influence, training and even weapons is indisputable. What Carter did to Persia, Obama has done to Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan and that's not the whole of the list.
Iraq will likely fall to Iran in a bloody civil war, whether it will be parts of the country or the whole country depend on how much support we provide to the Kurds. Under the Obama Administration the level of support is likely to be none.

Once the Islamists firmly take power across North Africa they will begin squeezing the last states that have still not fallen. Last month the leader of the murderous Enhada Islamists who have taken power in Tunisia stopped by Algeria. Morocco has not yet come down, but at this rate it's only a matter of time.
Syria remains an open question. The Muslim Brotherhood is in a successor position there and would welcome our intervention against the Assad regime. The Assads are no prize and they're Iranian puppets, but shoving them out would give the Brotherhood yet another country and its sizable collection of weaponry.

All that is bound to make 2012 an ugly year in its own right, especially if the Obama Administration continues allowing the Muslim Brotherhood to control its foreign policy. For all that Time and other mainstream media outlets continue splashing the same protest pornography photos on every page, the region has become an indisputably worse place this year with the majority of moderate governments overthrown and replaced, or in the process of being replaced by Islamist thugs.

Carter can breathe a sigh of relief. In one year the Obama Administration has done far more damage than the bucktoothed buffoon did in his entire term. After 2011 we can look back with nostalgia on the days when all that an incompetent leftist in the White House did was lose one country, one canal and a bunch of hostages. Things have gotten so bad that we can safely say that Obama on a good day is worse than Jimmy Carter on a bad day.

Forget the usual end of the year roundups which focus on pop stars, dead celebrities and who wore what and when. None of that really matters. It didn't matter four years ago. It certainly doesn't matter now.
2011 was not the year that Steve Jobs died, it was the year that any hope that we were not headed for a violent collision of civilizations died as Western governments helped topple the few moderates and let the worst have their harvest of power.

Will that be considered a bad thing in the long run? It's hard to say. What Obama did was speed up the date of an inescapable conflict. A day when it will no longer be state-supported terrorists setting off bombs, but when much of the Muslim world will look like Iran and will openly declare that they are at war with us. That was almost certainly bound to happen anyway, but bringing the day forward by ten or twenty years means that we will be less weaker than we might have been when it happens.

Evil has a way of destroying itself, and in his own backward way, Barry Hussein may have helped save civilization. It will be a long time before we know for sure, but giving the Brotherhood what it wanted before they were ready for it, and before we are so completely crippled by the left's political correctness that we are left helpless, may be our best hope.

2011 was the year we lost Afghanistan, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia and many others, but it should not be the year that we lose hope. For all that the bad guys have been gaining and domestic prospects don't look good, the bad guys have a way of destroying themselves. Give evil its head and it will kill millions, but it will also self-destruct in a spectacular way. Even when it seems as if we have run out of productive things to do, it is instructive to remember that there is a Higher Power in the destinies of men and that the aspirations of evil men to play at being gods eventually leads them to complete and utter ruin through their own arrogance.

But 2011 is also a reminder that the world cannot afford another year of Obama. That it cannot afford the appeasement, the destructive policies or the post-American politics that have made his regime the worst administration in this country's history. 2011 may be the year that we lost the Middle East, but let's work to make 2012 the year that this country loses one Barack Hussein Obama.

I post today Bob Mitchell's latest response to Revelation TV on his blog at his Shofar Ministries.

HOWARD CONDER AND HIS COWARD'S CASTLE.

I received a message from a friend yesterday, telling me dear Howard Conder of Revelation TV is still calling anyone a Pharisee who questions what he puts on the station. It is what used to be called in church circles a "Coward's Castle." You know, the preacher can attack certain people from his pulpit, but never actually takes any criticism himself.

This is sadly the case with Howard and Revelation TV. Jacob Prasch and myself raised concerns over certain preachers who are on the station. All we received in response was name calling. I was also told by someone very close to Howard I had left Revelation TV because Jacob had bullied me into leaving! Absolute nonsense.

You see, the issue is never discussed, but the messengers are attacked instead. A very large number of people have written both to me and Revelation TV complaining they have concerns but have never received one reply from Revelation.

As someone said Revelation TV is supposed to be a "church without walls" but is in fact a church without ears.It is constantly stated "Revelation TV is your channel" but not, it appears, when you question the leadership's decisions. Then you become a Pharisee.

I pray for Howard and the management and staff and volunteers who put so much into the work at Revelation TV. We applaud Howard's stand for Israel. But God hates a mixture. What fellowship has light with darkness? What fellowship has truth with error? It is simply no good saying "Yes, but they put such a lot of good programmes on there. Therefore, I will support them financially."

Is God not able to provide us with finances and a channel that promotes nothing but preachers, programmes and presenters who give out scripural truth without compromising with heretics who pay you to air their nonsense? God at this time in history is shaking everything as he said he would in the last days. A division is coming now within the professing church.

As always in history, a remnant will leave, and the majority will stay - at least for a while. Christ is returning for a bride who has "made herself ready", not a bride who thinks it is okay to have a mixture of truth and error and attacks anyone who questions her motives for that mixture, or in a loving way points out the problem.

Revelation TV, and Howard especially, bear a great responsibility to Christ and his church in these days. Sounding an unclear message and allowing fanciful stories such as God not having a clue what it was he created and having to ask Adam for help in naming his creation have the potential to lead people to follow and donate their cash to these heretics.

"Come out of her, My people", says the Lord. So, do we compromise, or leave? While I love everyone at Revelation I cannot stand by and watch them have heretics on air and attack a brother like Jacob Prasch for asking why these heretics are there in the first place. May God lead them and all of us deeper into his truth in these days as we prepare to meet the Lord.

Whether or not we want to admit it, earth’s been invaded by an element of malevolent, supernatural, other dimensional beings. The paranormal is in full swing. The fight is raging and humanity is the prize. The battle has now moved into our four dimensional space/time continuum and still people ignore it or write it off as silly science fiction nonsense.

Yet science fiction often has a foundation based on fact. Earth's inhabitants are infor a measure of the paranormal unparalleled in the last 4000 years (2Thess 2:3b-4a). This son of perdition is ready to be revealed, his only hindrance is the Holy Spirit indwent Church (2 Thess 2:11b). Why would God send this strong delusion? The very next verse tells us why, "that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thess 2:12). 

In other words, those who had been presented with the truth of the Gospel of Christ, and rejected the truth, have nothing to look forward to but condemnation as God's strong delusion is implemented. When we take that last verse to fruition, many of us will come to a most horrible conclusion, Many of the people we have witnessed to over the years, who have remained steadfast in their rejection of the truth, will end up swallowing the strong delusion, hook, line, and sinker (Matthew 22:30).

Notice Jesus is here speaking of the resurrection and the angels of God in Heaven. Angels appear to men on numerous occasions in the Bible, and in male form. They are seen eating and drinking, therefore they undoubtedly have access to all human bodily functions (as in Gen chap 6 verses 2,4,5,7).

Scientists have extrapolated that there were as many people on the earth prior to the flood of Noah, as there are alive today. If that is the case, and since only eight people were saved from God's decree to destroy the human race from the face of the earth, something much more evil had to have taken place besides just inter-breeding of various human lineages. What occurred in the antediluvian world is to re-emerge in the last days, that is, The Return Of The Nephilim. Satan is the "god of this world", and most men and women in leadership roles over nations bow to his every whim (Matthew 24:37).

Currently Satan, his horde of fallen angels, and the demons of old are poised on the brink of facilitating the most startling phenomenon the world will ever witness; the Bible calls it a “strong delusion”. The race is on; it’s a race against time itself. Not one of the multitudes of malevolent supernatural beings, or any human for that matter, has a clue as to when Satan’s time will run out. But there are certainly indications that humanity has entered its final phase, which portends that Satan’s last days are here. Satan can see the same things we see, except he sees them with an urgency the rest of us can’t even comprehend. Satan is responsible for the evil which will bring about much of the catastrophic occurrences on planet earth in the last days.

Satan has an agenda which includes a massive amount of deception and a bit of public exposure to pique the interest of a few, yet maintaining his agenda in the realm of science fiction for the moment. In the meantime scary things are happening – the appearance of ghosts/demons, “space” aliens, unexplained animal mutilations, etc. All of these weird occurrences are burgeoning. The world is moving into chilling, unexplored territory. Yet people seem to have no fear of the aforementioned occurrences. Why is that? Because we’ve been desensitized through some entertaining Hollywood movies, and the exploitation of the paranormal. We’ve got ghost hunters enjoying a field day while exploring all the claims of paranormal occurrences, vampires becoming so acceptable in our society that many want to become vampires themselves. When I was a young boy all my friends and I wanted to be like Superman who represented everything good – today kids and adults want to be vampires which represent everything evil. What an about face society has made.

Nothing seems to be lacking as Satan slowly and meticulously unveils his deception. The mainstream media has even gotten into the fray. They see the appearances of ghosts, goblins, ghouls, spirits, and anything that goes bump in the night as newsworthy entertainment. Imagine if by chance, someone actually runs into a few of these very real specters? Would people associate any evil with such a phenomenon? There’s more than just a chance man will see these spirits as benevolent. It is Satan’s goal that mankind embrace the whole idea of the paranormal as benevolent extraterrestrials meaning no harm but only good for earth’s populous.

Here’s the rub, the human race is being setup for the last day’s delusion. Everything is falling perfectly into place. The brunt of the delusion won’t be fully in place until the “Church” is in Heaven. There’s no doubt that what’s currently occurring all over the world points to a worldwide deception. To some of us who have been given discernment, Satan’s attempt at deluding the public is obvious. “…the son of perdition. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God...”

Please try and understand that once the Church is gone and the deception is unleashed, believing anything but the lie of the enemy will be incredibly difficult – impossible for many. “God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:”

I broached the subject of supernatural evil in a commentary a few weeks ago and with the tremendous response from my readership I decided to delve a little deeper into this incredibly important subject matter of the book of Genesis chapter 6.

We’re told in chapter 6 of Genesis that a supernatural evil brought on the destruction of the antediluvian world. This subject matter deserves much more attention and explanation than I can place into one commentary, especially when one considers all the foolish and misleading interpretations of these few verses. Fallen angels, human women, and their offspring – the Nephilim is the focus in this commentary, but the paranormal stems from the demonic horde who, after the flood of Noah, found themselves without bodies. These were the Nephilim hybrids of that era. The last days before the return of our Lord Jesus will experience a resurgence of the Nephilim, hence all the activity surrounding the paranormal. Satan is readying the inhabitants of this planet to accept another invasion by the fallen angels and the return of the Nephilim.

Many folks today try to dismiss the Nephilim completely by attributing this assault on humanity as the result of the co-mingling of the sons of Seth with the daughters of Cain. Try and support that idea using Scripture. An acrobat would be hard pressed to perform such a stretch.

There were Nephilim (giants) in the land in those days and also after that. The procreation of human beings can create little monsters, but they aren’t monstrous. The Nephilim hybrid – the offspring created from the union of fallen angels and human women – brought about the most evil the world had ever experienced. To this very day we’ve not been subjected to such evil – but it is coming.

Let me get one thing straight. This commentary is not being written as an attempt to persuade those who hold opposing interpretations of Genesis 6 to change views. What I’m espousing here has come about through years of diligent study. I would propose that each “in Christ believer” do their own study of these critically important scriptures. Please don’t send me someone else’s contradicting study; believe me I’ve seen and read them all.

The verses in Genesis chapter 6 are perfectly clear and do not contradict Jesus’ words in Matthew chapter 22. “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”

God says what He means and means what He says. I decided a long time ago to challenge myself to learn what these verses meant instead of listening to others concerning these passages. If we adhere to what the Bible is actually telling us, the truth is not difficult to discern “That the sons of God (The Hebrew bene ha Elohiym – always refers to angels) saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose…There were giants (nĕphiyl in the Hebrew or Nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

In the verses above the “sons of God” refers to fallen angels who came to earth, took wives of all they chose. Put in more simple terms, the fallen angel’s cohabitated with human women and their unions brought about these hybrids referred to as Nephilim, and they were giants. What we are told occurred during that stage of human history is an evil that quite frankly seems almost impossible to even consider let alone believe, yet it is factual. To the human mind the concept of angels and human women procreating is so repugnant – so beyond fantasy – that most simply dismiss it as impossible. The problem with dismissing this evil as fantasy, especially at this point in time, is akin to burying our heads in the sand. We, the Church, need to be keenly aware of and kept abreast of this strange evil coming about again. Make no mistake these fallen angels are currently continuing their shenanigans as they corrupt the last day’s human race. The bringing forth of the hybrids (Nephilim) into our midst has begun.

These fallen angels, through whatever means at their disposal, brought a mass of hybrid beings onto this planet with one goal in mind: to create a soulless and pure evil human hybrid – to replace all who are made in God’s image. Their success would have eliminated any chance of a forthcoming Messiah. Our Messiah arrived precisely when He was supposed to which tells us they were not successful. Satan has, once again, begun his dastardly deeds with another assault on mankind.

Non-human hybrids that had no souls were also void of any ability to love, therefore through the influence of the fallen angels their imaginations were pure evil continually. The evil was not merely focused on mankind but on the animal kingdom as well. With enough of this interbreeding, love could be bred out of man completely. This is exactly what occurred. All flesh became corrupted save Noah and his family. “And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.”

Why would God destroy every created thing? Why destroy poor dumb animals, the birds of the air, and creeping things? “And the LORD said, I will destroy man…, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air.” (v7b) Yes, the animal kingdom was also corrupted, thus God destroyed them also. These malevolent supernatural beings interfered in the animal kingdom to create part animal, part human “hybrids”; an animal soul cannot exist in a human body, and vice versa. FYI - the United States Senate has just passed a bill that would clear the way for the acceptance of sodomy and bestiality in the military and it was passed by a margin of 93 to 7. Who’s pulling the strings of government? “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…”

Unlike the giant Nephilim of the past the new hybrids are being created in labs around the world to resemble humans with human like traits. They will be just as soulless and loveless as those of the antediluvian corruption. They are probably already living among us. Everyone should become familiar with transhumanism. The secular scientists involved with this type of breeding animal/human hybrids are doing the devils bidding. I believe this is a major part of the strong delusion God will send to deceive the unbelieving world.

What I’ve explained in this commentary is completely verifiable through a diligent study of the scriptures. If you think I’m nuts, that a scenario such as I’ve espoused is impossible, then all I can say is wait and see. But while you wait you might heed Jesus’ words “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

ANOTHER ABOMINATION BEFORE THE LORD, AS BRITAIN SLIDES FURTHER AWAY FROM THE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE.

NEW LAW ON CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS IN CHURCHES COMES IN TO EFFECT.

A new law came into effect on the 5th December which allows homosexual civil partnerships to be registered on religious premises in England and Wales for the first time.

The new scheme is intended to be voluntary, although critics of the move believe that what is being portrayed as optional for churches will quickly become an expectation and then a duty.

The Church of England has produced a legal paper suggesting that churches will not be at risk of litigation if they refuse to register civil partnerships on their premises. However, two separate QC’s have given contrary advice, and believe that churches will be at risk of litigation if they refuse to provide civil partnerships.

In addition, Tory Peer Baroness O’Cathain is intending to propose a motion in the House of Lords next week, arguing that the new law is confusing and could lead to churches facing litigation if they refuse to host civil partnerships. If the Lords pass her proposal, then the provision introducing the new law could be annulled.
Lawyer Neil Addison, who comments on religious liberty issues, said: "The real danger is the possibility of churches being sued under the Equality Act for refusing to host civil partnerships. But what I think is much more likely is that local authorities will refuse to register churches for marriage unless the churches are willing to host civil partnerships."

Before the new law came into effect, the Government’s Equality Office held a consultation on the introduction of civil partnerships and subsequently reported that "the vast majority" of respondents "opposed the principle of civil partnerships being registered on religious premises". Yet despite this, the Government “remains committed to taking this important step for ... LGB rights.”

Recently, Conservative MP Mike Weatherley wrote to David Cameron and told him that Christian churches must be banned from performing any marriages at all if they refused to hold civil partnerships ceremonies for homosexuals on their premises.

Homosexual Marriage.

In contrast to its comments on the introduction of civil partnerships, the Church of England report did imply that the Government’s plan to introduce full homosexual marriage in churches could leave the church exposed under equality legislation.

Prime Minister David Cameron promised in October to introduce full homosexual marriage by 2015, ending the legal definition of marriage as the union of a man and a woman. The Church of England report implies that, if that happens, then equality laws may apply, which would open the Church of England to legal action if it did not provide for homosexual marriage on its properties. ‘If Parliament were in due course to legislate for same-sex marriage, as recently suggested by the Prime Minister, we would of course be in new territory,’ it said.

If homosexual marriage is legislated for, and if churches were not protected from being sued if they refused to marry homosexuals, then the vast majority of pastors and clergy may then be forced to choose between their conscience and their jobs, triggering the biggest threat to religious liberty in generations.

“This is all part of a wider, radical social and political agenda to re-define marriage and force this re-definition on everybody, whether they want it or not. Such a re-definition will affect the whole of society profoundly, and has severe repercussions for the family.

“With the Prime Minister backing plans to introduce full homosexual marriage soon, the church at large needs to wake up very fast, or else church leaders who believe that marriage is between a man and a woman may well lose their liberty to continue acting according to that belief, and may be forced in the future to resign their positions or defy the law.” 

Votes:

The Prime Minister’s plans to introduce homosexual marriage could cost him many votes. A recent poll by ComRes found that a massive 83% of church-going Christians in the UK are opposed to plans by the Conservative Party to legalise homosexual marriage, and 57% of all respondents are ‘less likely to vote’ for the party because of this move.

NEW ISRAEL IDF APPOINTMENT RAISES EYEBROWS.

Appointment of IDF's new 'Iran Command' chief raises eyebrows

While the idea of the corps itself has broad support within the army, the same cannot be said about the choice of the man who is to lead it, by Amos Harel.

The decision by Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz to create a new army formation, to be known as the Depth Corps, followed recent recommendations issued by a team headed by Maj. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot. Eizenkot was tapped for the task last summer, after he completed his assignment as GOC Northern Command and began an educational leave of absence.

Maj. Gen. Shai Avital was named head of the new corps, which has already earned the somewhat overstated sobriquet "the Iran Command." Israel already has a command for Iran affairs - the Mossad, which since the last decade has been doing the heavy lifting in the campaign against the Iranian nuclear threat. If there is any unit within the IDF that deals with Iran specifically it is the Israel Air Force, the main branch that will be called upon in the event of an Israeli attack on the country's nuclear facilities.

The new corps could, in the future, assist in mobilizing special forces in the Iranian context. More important, it will have the job of planning and leading operations in areas far beyond the borders, operations that are connected to the covert war against terror organizations (and, indirectly, against Iran ). One could imagine, for example, operations that have been ascribed to Israel, such as alleged IAF air strikes and special forces operations in Sudan, or the assassination of a Syrian general at his home in northern Syria.

Gantz instructed Eizenkot to assess recent developments and strategic shifts in the region to determine whether the IDF needed to make changes to its planning in response. In reviewing past assessments Eizenkot's team, which comprised high-ranking officers and one senior Mossad official, it was discovered that the problem had been identified back in 1982, when a decision was made to create a depth corps at the General Staff level.

Implementation was delayed until 1986 as a result of the first Lebanon war. Maj. Gen. (res. ) Doron Rubin was appointed head of the unit, but fallout from the raid it orchestrated against Ahmed Jibril's Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command in December, 1988, codenamed Operation Blue and Brown, shut down the command. Rubin stepped down and the remaining special operations unit was absorbed into the Northern Command.

Special operations

Eizenkot determined a need for a combined corps that could carry out operations far from the country's borders. It had to be capable not only of linear battle, for example sending tanks from the Golan Heights in the direction of Damascus, but also simultaneous attacks, such as strikes against scattered rocket launch sites, each of which must be neutralized.

Eizenkot envisioned a relatively small unit of about 100 troops, some of whom were already serving in special operations, answering directly to the chief of staff but freeing both the chief and deputy chief of staff of the need to deal directly with the areas under the corps' jurisdiction, which are technically their area of responsibility but in practice receive inadequate attention.

The jurisdiction of the district commands - north, central and south - generally extends only a few dozen kilometers beyond the border. In the Second Lebanon War commanders were reluctant to carry out depth operations in the Bekaa Valley. Col. Nitzan Alon, who last week was promoted to GOC Central Command, was eventually "borrowed" from his assignment in the West Bank to do the job.

The Depth Corps will have the authority to deploy special operations units when necessary, but under normal circumstances each unit's chain of command will remain unchanged.

In wartime the new corps might be assigned a sector, movement into which would be controlled by the relevant district command. An entity whose entire scope of interest lies well beyond the border is already close to being established.

"What is happening today is that actions in the strategic depth area are largely the result of some momentary flash," a senior officer who helped draft the recommendations told Haaretz. "An officer goes to Military Intelligence with an idea, and they start working on an operation. A corps headed by a major general will consider the threats methodically and continuously, and we hope it will lead to solutions and results," he said.

While the idea of the corps itself has broad support within the army, the same cannot be said about the choice of the man who is to lead it.

Avital, 59, who will return to active duty for the assignment, has a long and impressive record in special operations as an officer in Sayeret Matkal, the general staff's elite special-operations force, and later as its commander. But he left the army 10 years ago, of his own choosing, after just one rather undistinguished assignment as commander of a large unit. Since leaving the IDF he has tried his hand at farming, politics (he placed low on Kadima's candidate list in the 2006 election and did not make it into the Knesset ) and public service (as a controversial director general of the Environmental Protection Ministry).

Avital has a wealth of experience, but it is difficult to see how his resume in the past decade connects him to the technological advances of that period, to the nature of the activity he will oversee or the current crop of commanders. Perhaps the answer lies in the defense minister and chief of staff, his patrons.

ALAN FRANKLIN ON THE COMING ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL COLLAPSE.

I am getting e-mails from lots of people, especially in America, asking what is happening in Europe and the Middle East, how long we have before the world financial system crashes – and much else in the same vein. What comes first: currency collapse or major wars? Or do we get the worst of all possible worlds? Read on! 

It is difficult to give a precise timeframe for the coming world financial collapse, which is inevitable: the popping of the last great bubble, the crash of cash and financial meltdown. Realizing what was coming, we put our house on the market in Britain in 2006, thinking the crisis was imminent. We sold in 2008, downsizing and paying off all debt. Now I don’t need to work for money, which is just as well, as paid work is likely to be in short supply. Instead Pat and I write books and I make DVDs and travel anywhere I am invited to give Powerpoint presentations on what is going on – and how the Bible predicts it all. It’s nice to know the end of the story! It’s not even a secret: the Lord Jesus is coming back to rule and reign from Jerusalem.

In 2008 I was in a US hotel, on a speaking tour, when the big financial crash happened. I watched it unravel on CNN. I thought then: This is it. However, I reckoned without Ben Bernanke, Geithner and co puffing up the banking credit balloon and unleashing the printing presses. That bought some time. That time may soon run out, starting in Europe with the disaster rippling out to America and across the world. For this is a world crisis, engineered to usher in a One World Government, one-world money system, mark of the beast – and Antichrist.

I have been predicting the coming Greater Depression since about 2005 and we wrote a book in 2006 called "Goodbye America, Goodbye Britain." This is available from our web-shop and gives, among other things, the spiritual reasons for our nations’ decline and fall. One chapter is titled: "The Coming Foreclosure Tragedy." In parallel with the coming money crash, a harbinger of the New World Order being secretly set up behind the scenes, is the loud beating of war drums.

I am writing this from Israel, where we are staying in the Western Galilee until 2012. On certain days the trains are crammed with the conscripts of the Israeli Defense Force, a fine body of young people whose courage I expect to be put to the test sooner rather than later. Yes, war is coming, starting with the scenario set out in Psalm 83. Read it for yourselves: it details a conspiracy of Arab nations around Israel joining together to wipe out the Jewish nation.

The uprisings, from Egypt to Syria, Tunisia to Morocco, will end up ushering in the longed for Caliphate, a vast Islamic union effectively under one authority: the false god Allah – a god of war. War will then be declared on Israel, the grit in the eye of the Islamic world. The Arab states taking part will be all but destroyed, their military taken out for good. Then Russia enters the fray, as detailed in Ezekiel 38/39. The Gog/Magog Russian-led invasion sees the end of Russia and its allies as a force in world affairs. God is long suffering but will act to defend His Chosen People. It is written. It is true. It will take place. 

This vast army, including the solders of Iran, Turkey, and other named nations, (but not those named in Psalm 83- they have been dealt with already) is wiped out by God alone on the mountains of Israel. Even the IDF plays no role in their defeat- God alone acts. These are times of great prophetic events coming to fruition in our lifetimes! The church should be teaching this and waking people up, to yearn for the Lord’s return. Instead most of the church is yawning and planning the newest marketing soft-sell: Christianity-lite, as practiced by fluff daisy preachers like Joel Osteen, a tickler of itching ears. The Osteens and Rick Warrens of this world reject prophecy as "too negative." I have been called "negative." Things are certainly turning really "negative" for all those who don't know Christ. All else is set to crash and burn, everything most folk set their hearts on, all the rubbish we value so highly. Soon, all will be gone. Only those with their feet on The Rock will celebrate.

Here I should mention that I want as many people as possible to understand the end times scenario. I am planning a two/three month speaking tour of US churches this coming spring, subject to bookings. For America, so naïve in foreign policy that it thinks it a good idea to replace people like Egypt’s Mubarak, who kept the peace with Israel, with The Muslim Brotherhood, who just celebrated their hoped- for election victory with a “Kill The Jews Day” in Cairo, needs to wise up fast if it is to survive. God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse it, like the Obamanation. Oh yes, reckoning is coming fast, like the approaching horsebeats of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

These are exciting times to be a Christian, the times of the signs, which are everywhere. Wars are often started in tough times, by governments desperate to divert attention from their own follies. The follies are huge and insoluble: cash is about to crash in a flash, all round the world. The nations, like Italy, Greece, Portugal, Belgium et al, are like drunks running out of credit. Time is about up in the Last Chance Saloon. I have deliberately not given great lists of figures in this article: trillions of Dollars mean little to most people, but if you want America's latest debt tally, look at the Debt Clock which we link to on this website.

You should pay attention when the world’s central banks, from London to Washington, Japan to Geneva, step in together to pump up the money system, as they did this week. However much they huff and puff, Humpty cannot be put back together. The big banks of Europe and America are- unwittingly- not just the biggest residential landlords but also the biggest commercial landlords. Yes, many of those useless, empty office blocks and redundant malls have been repossessed. However, they are in effect worthless, but still in the banks’ books for the values pledged against the loans. It's fairyland banking, not based on reality, or "mark to market," - in other words, not on the true value today.

It is fictions like this which keep the system from crashing today. For example, Greek debt. Banks, pension funds, insurance companies etc all put in Dollars that are now worth 50 cents apiece. That's if you can get it off the Greeks, who are broke. Italy could crash any day, and there is not enough money in the world to bail out Italy, Spain,Portugal, Ireland- even France. Britain's banks alone are said to have loaned £190 billion to these dodgy economies. Much is undoubtedly lost.

Japan is hugely over-borrowed, although owes its debt trillions mainly to its own people. They can probably kiss that goodbye. China is building up a similar credit bubble to the US, especially in property loans. You have to understand economics, world affairs and above all Bible prophecy to pull all the threads together. I am helped by the fact that in prophecy I have had some great teachers over 30 years, while Pat and I published, among many other things, a nationwide business newspaper for 16 years.  I can read balance sheets.

The world collectively has an imbalance sheet. Few politicians understand all this, with the possible exception of Ron Paul in America, the only man mentally equipped to be President. Yes, I am saying that the rest of the candidates are, variously, none too bright, followers of false religion (Mitt the Mormon) or philanderers. They don’t cut the mustard. However, waiting in the wings is the strong man who will take decisive global leadership decisions. The bad news for the world is that this will be Antichrist, Satan's man for the end times, the most terrifying period in world history.

I was reporting in the European Parliament when the vote was taken to bring in the Euro. This was part of the German scheme to control Europe via finance, it having failed twice to do so via war. Now the Euro seems to be falling apart and may well do so. However, I would be surprised. Too much has been invested in what the European Union calls “The Project” for it to be allowed to fail. The EU motto is “ever deeper union” and what is most likely is fiscal union coming in alongside monetary union for the 17 states which have the Euro as their currency, run by the German controlled European Central Bank. 

This is clearly a major step towards the one world electronic currency, which could arrive soon. It will be touted as the solution to the world financial crisis, which the nations’ politicians are clearly unable to cope with. One Italian newspaper neatly summed them up as:  “Poltroons dancing round the rim of a volcano.” The dance goes on until the music stops.

You can take some steps to protect your family from  what will follow, for example, by paying off loans and learning to grow vegetables if you have a garden. Once unemployment rises over, say, 40 per cent expect major riots and cities in flames. It is coming. You have seen a few harbingers of this already in cities in Europe where they think they have “entitlements” without responsibilities- the result of decades of Socialist dogma and vast government agencies stifling most initiative. The Bible says that if a man does not work let him not eat, remember.

The number one thing is to get right with God, Who we will need to survive all that is coming. Study the Word, tell people how Bible prophecy predicts everything that is unfolding. Do not worry, as we know the end of the story: the Lord wins! However, although the church does not go through the tribulation we will certainly face some tough times in the near future. World depressions affect us all

A pastor friend is buying silver coins, to use as currency when paper money fails, as it will; if not now, then in the not too distant future. I also tell people to buy gold. The price is being desperately held down by the big banks and central bankers. They hate gold, as it shows up their own pathetic paper funny money: fiat money, not backed by anything but a false promise and hot air.  I did a lot of research and found what we believe is the world's best gold-trading company, bullionvault.com, and put their advert on our website so people know where to go for a fair deal at the lowest prices - you can even trade yourself with no problem. When all else fails gold will be the last man standing. 

The last chapter of the story has been written. The prophetic time clock was at five minutes to midnight in 1948 when Israel was reformed as a nation, exactly as prophesied over 2,500 years before- in one day, as Isaiah predicted. Today I’d say we are a couple of seconds from midnight, the soon end of the church age at the rapture,  followed by the end of the age of the gentiles at the end of the seven year fast-approaching Great Tribulation. First – any day now, perhaps - the true, remnant church will be raptured out of the world, to be with the Lord forever. That will see world events set on fast forward, with the focus on finance and  Israel. Remember, the rapture could happen before you finish reading this article. It's wake up time!

JOEL ROSENBERG'S BRIEF YEAR END ANALYSIS OF THE MIDDLE EAST SITUATION.

Final Brief Year End Analysis of the Middle East situation by America's Renown Prophecy Expert Joel Rosenberg.  

1.      The geopolitical climate in the epicentre deteriorated significantly in 2011, as has religious freedom in most of the Arab and Persian world.

• All evidence indicates that Iran is closer than ever to building nuclear weapons, while also building up its missile forces and the missile forces of its allies such as Hezbollah and Hamas.
• The Iranian regime is signaling that the Arab revolutions point to the imminent arrival of the Twelfth Imam and the destruction of Israel.
• The Iranian regime is cracking down ferociously on the house church networks there.
• The Muslim Brotherhood’s cynically named “Freedom and Justice Party” dominated the first round of Egyptian parliamentary elections — together with the radical, Salafist “Al-Nour” party, the hardline Islamists have captured more than 60% of the vote….Israelis expect Egyptian relations with them to sour and Egyptian Christians expect persecution to intensify.
• Libya now appears to be in the hands of Radical Muslims imposing Sharia law – the situation could end up being worse there than under Gadhafi.
• Syria’s bloodthirsty regime has killed more than 3,500 of its own citizens this year and the openness that existed to spread the Gospel has evaporated — the regime deserves to be overthrown.
• Iraq is requiring all U.S. military forces to leave by the end of 2011.
• With Iraqi Christians are increasingly under attack – including a direct attack inside a church in Baghdad in October 2010, a deadly series of attacks on churches in April 2011 at Easter, and a car bombing directly in front of a church in Baghdad in August 2011 — thousands of born-again believers and nominal Christians have received visas to leave Iraq on the basis of religious persecution.
• The Palestinian leadership has made peace with Hamas rather than Israel, and is trying to build an international coalition at the U.N. to allow them to unilaterally declare a Palestinian state without directly negotiating with Israel.
• Russia will become an increasingly important factor in the epicenter in 2012 as Vladimir Putin runs for president again next March – if Putin wins, we should expect the Kremlin to aggressively deepen alliances with Israel’s enemies. [Update: Putin shaken by United Russia's poor election performance; party formed by Vladimir Putin sees support drop by 15% in result seen as test of prime minister's personal popularity; also: Mikhail Gorbachev calls for a new vote in Russia over allegations of voter fraud.]

 2.     As 2011 ends, the prospect of a major war in the epicenter in 2012 is significantly rising.

• Recently, I spoke with a Member of Congress who met personally with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior Israeli leaders just before Thanksgiving – he reported that the Israeli leaders weren’t asking for help; they all seem resigned to the prospect that Israel will have to take action on their own, and probably sooner than later.
• Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are clearly laying the political groundwork inside Israel to launch preemptive strikes if the world doesn’t take decisive action first.
• The leaks out of Jerusalem about the Netanyahu Cabinet actively discussing a preemptive strike don’t appear to be planned – but they appear to be accurate.
• In early November, the Israeli Air Force launched another major exercise to practice long range bombing runs – previously the exercise had taken IAF fighter jets to Greece; this time they flew to Italy.
• The former Mossad chief Meir Dagan is warning Israel not to launch a war that he says would be a “catastrophe.”
• Barak is reported to believe Israel has a window of no more than one year to stop Iran from getting the Bomb.
• The Obama administration is publicly pressuring Israel not to consider preemptive strikes, based on the notion that they fear Israel is preparing for such strikes.
• The French, British and Canadians recently imposed new economic sanctions against Iran’s Central Bank in attempt to force the Iranian regime to the negotiating table and to forestall an Israeli first strike; the Obama administration, however, refused to sanction Iran’s Central Bank.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE MANAGEMENT OF REVELATION TELEVISION.

Dearest Brothers in Christ,

The work of Revelation Television has been a great blessing to many believers in the Lord Jesus and has reached out to those who do not yet know Him with compassion and sincerity. My own family and friends have benefited from your work and my appearances with Bob Mitchell have been a real blessing to me. I was looking forward to further programmes with Bob, and also with Dr Richard Kent in the 2012, but sadly I cannot continue to use your excellent facilities to proclaim the End-Times truths so relevant to our World today. Why? Please will you examine my deep concerns outlined below.

I was uncomfortable with the fact that airtime was being made available to the Seventh Day Adventist Church which I do not consider to be part of mainstream Biblical Christianity but, as I knew that there are true believers within it, I said and did nothing. I was probably wrong and should have spoken out. But when I learned  that Rev. Jesse Duplantis was to appear on your station, that was a few steps too far and I have to distance my ministry from you.

I have three believing daughters married to christian husbands in the USA so my visits to America have been frequent over the last two decades. My children have thought it amusing to show me TV programmes of various unbiblical and extra-biblical preachers including Mr Duplantis. I have been horrified at the deceptive heretical teaching and worldly presentation of his programmes.

Part of the message which I regularly teach, that of the imminent return of the Lord Jesus, is to warn of deceivers and those who will introduce false doctrines: " Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, having run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit and perished in the rebellion of Korah." (Jude 11 NJKV).

I cannot teach this up and down the UK, and elsewhere, and then appear on a TV Station which hosts one of the very individuals that I have been warning about. As a former Intelligence Officer I know that the very best lies are those that are closest to the truth. This means in these "last days" that the deception aimed at believers does not come from weird and obviously heretical cults but from those who look like us but "are not of us". I fear that Mr Duplantis is the thin edge of a very dangeous wedge!

There will be consequences. I plead with you to have a change of heart and turn around, cancelling your arrangements with Mr Duplantis and the Seventh Day Adventists. Revelation Television can stand out at the very least as one Christian TV station that is untainted with the apostacy of the end of the age. It is time for some believer in Christian media to lead, and give leadership over the airwaves, not following the self serving and indulgent spectacles that emanate from the USA. This will bring the blessing, provision and honour of God to the service and life of such a Ministry. May it be yours.

Although I am 61 years old, and been through many adventures with the Lord Jesus over the years, I'm not some kind of boring old fuddy-duddy legalist that cannot move with the times. I seek to be like the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times (1Chronicles 12:32) and sound an alarm when an enemy approaches, by a full frontal attack or through the subtle infiltration of a "fifth column".

 A Scripture I apply regularly to myself is this:  "Look to yourselves that we do not lose the things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him: for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds" (2 John 8-11 NKJV).  This is not about our Salvation, we did not work for that, it was a free gift of God's grace, but rather, it is about our service for Him as we travel home, and hope that we will receive our reward for faithfulness to the Truth. May we be found faithful and be given "full wages".

I AM NOT PREPARED TO HAVE MY NAME ASSOCIATED WITH, AND MY SERVICE FOR THE LORD JESUS TARNISHED, BY APPEARING ON  A TV STATION THAT GIVES TIME AND SPACE TO FALSE TEACHING, BE IT DUPLANTIS, THE CHURCH OF ROME, OR SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS.

Because we have three daughters in the USA we have visited the States many times over the last two decades and have watched the Duplantis programmes there. We were horrified. In fact our children found it humourous to show us some of these frightful "money preachers" by way of entertainment and to "wind us up"!!!!! We need to be keeping the influence of such ungodliness out of our country not encouraging it with airtime.

The lack of discernment within our national church is heartbreaking.
