Meteorologist Jim Fracasso monitors weather in NOAA's Center for Weather and Climate Prediction.
Amber Sullins gets a minute or two to tell up to two million people about some extremely complicated science, using the tools of her trade: a pleasant voice, a green screen, and small icons denoting sun, clouds, rain, and wind.
She is the chief meteorologist at ABC15 News in Phoenix, so her forecasts mostly call for sunshine. Within this brief window, however, Sullins sometimes manages to go beyond the next five days. Far beyond.
"We know climate change could affect everything about the way we live in the future, from agriculture and tourism to productivity and local business," she once noted. "But at what cost?"

YET ANOTHER SIGN OF THE END TIMES AS A HIGHLY RESPECTED REVEREND COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER HE IS DISCOVERED AS HAVING AT LEAST SEVEN AFFAIRS, AND ALSO FATHERING A CHILD BY ANOTHER WOMAN!! HOWEVER, SHOULD WE REALLY BE SHOCKED BY EVENTS LIKE THIS IN THESE LAST DAYS FOLKS???

A Married Scottish Minister dies after wife discovered he had seven affairs. He is believed to have committed suicide!!

A Scottish Minister who committed suicide amid claims of a string of affairs did so after confessing to his wife, according to informed sources. The death of the prominent theologian, Dr Iain Campbell, a former moderator of The Free Church Of Scotland, who was  a minister on the Isle of Lewis, has sent shockwaves through the local community and beyond — with the Free Church now investigating the claims of extra-marital relationships. Mr Campbell was admitted to hospital in Stornoway at the end of January. He is believed to have committed suicide.
CAMPBELL CENTRE, WITH HIS WIFE AND THREE ADULT CHILDREN.

The Free Church has launched an investigation into claims a married minister, who is thought to have taken his life, had seven affairs. The Reverend Dr Iain D Campbell, 53, died in hospital after reportedly being confronted by his wife Anne, 54, over the alleged illicit relationships. It is also claimed that Mr Campbell, a father of three and Free Church of Scotland minister at the Point Free Church on the Isle of Lewis, fathered a child outside of his marriage

Campbell was a leading figure within the Church and a former Moderator. The minister in the tight-knit Western Isles community died in January. It is understood his wife challenged him over up to seven affairs and the issue has been raised with the Free Kirk. The Free Church, known for its strict traditionalist stance, said it is investigating the claims. It is also understood allegations could date as far back as the 1990s.
The Church source said: “When you are a man of the cloth your behaviour is meant to be above that.” Mr Campbell was born and grew up in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. He studied at Glasgow University before proceeding to the Free Church College where he trained for the pastoral ministry. He was ordained as minister at Snizort Free Church, Skye in 1988 and spent seven years there before moving to Back Free Church in 1995. A further transfer took him to Point Free Church in 2009. He was Moderator of the Free Church General Assembly in 2012.
A spokesman for the Free Church of Scotland said: “We can confirm that the Free Church of Scotland is investigating allegations made in connection with the late Rev Dr Iain D Campbell. “The Western Isles Presbytery is taking these allegations very seriously and is acting on them in accordance with the stated practice of the Free Church of Scotland.” The Church said in a statement to its flock: “The Presbytery of the Western Isles wish to assure the Free Church and friends in the wider Christian community that meetings have been held to consider the recent death in tragic circumstances of Rev Dr Iain D Campbell.
“They wish to further give assurance that they are continuing to exercise pastoral oversight in all aspects of this tragic event in accordance with The Practice of the Free Church of Scotland. “We ask for your prayers for the family, for our churches, and for the cause of Christ worldwide, as we seek to deal with this painful matter in a way that is biblically faithful and Christ-honouring.” Reverend James Maciver, the minister of Stornoway Free Church, said in an obituary to Mr Campbell: “The news of Rev. Dr Iain D. Campbell’s sudden death numbed the Western Isles Free Presbytery, and the tremors from the shock extended through the Free Church and well beyond.

“We continue to pray for his family in their indescribable pain, as well as his congregation, friends and colleagues. “At a time like this, there is only one source of strength and refuge, who we believe is ruling in unchangeable love over his people.” He added: “Such was his fitness, vigour and drive that none could have expected his demise at 53 years of age.” “Although gifted in so many fields Iain’s great love was preaching the gospel. It was a preaching of the highest calibre.”

Syria Rocked As Israel Carries Out Air Strike On Iranian Supplied Arms Depot In Damascus Outside Airport!!

Syria Rocked As Israel Carries Out Air Strike On Iranian Supplied Arms Depot In Damascus Outside Airport

by Geoffrey Grider

Israel struck an arms supply hub operated by the Lebanese group Hezbollah near Damascus airport on Thursday, Syrian rebel and regional intelligence sources said, targeting weapons sent from Iran via commercial and military cargo planes.

"The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap." Isaiah 17:1 (KJV)
EDITOR'S NOTE: The enemies of Israel, Hezbollah in particular, are being more and more supplied with weapons and missiles in Syria from Iran. The Psalm 83 War is waiting in the wings as the IDF increasingly has to carry out more airstrikes like this one to keep Israel safe.
Video carried on Lebanese TV and shared on social media showed the pre-dawn airstrikes caused a fire around the airport east of the Syrian capital, suggesting fuel sources or weapons containing explosives were hit.
Syrian state media said Israeli missiles hit a military position southwest of the airport, but did not mention arms or fuel. It said "Israeli aggression" had caused explosions and some material losses, but did not expand on the damage.
Israel does not usually comment on action it takes in Syria. But Intelligence Minister Israel Katz, speaking to Army Radio from the United States, appeared to confirm involvement.
"The incident in Syria corresponds completely with Israel's policy to act to prevent Iran's smuggling of advanced weapons via Syria to Hezbollah," he said. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had "said that whenever we receive intelligence that indicates an intention to transfer advanced weapons to Hezbollah, we will act", he added.

Syria: Damascus airport rocked by 'Israeli strikes' on arms depot

An Israeli military spokeswoman said: "We can't comment on such reports."
Two senior rebel sources in the Damascus area, citing monitors in the eastern outskirts of the capital, said five strikes hit an ammunition depot used by Iran-backed militias.
Lebanon's al-Manar television, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, said early indications were that the strikes hit warehouses and fuel tanks. It said there no casualties.

RUSSIA AND IRAN BACK ASSAD

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is backed in his six-year-old civil war by Russia, Iran and regional Shi'ite militias. These include Hezbollah, a close ally of Tehran and enemy of Israel, which describes the group as the biggest threat it faces on its borders. The two fought a month-long war in 2006.
Syrian military defectors familiar with the airport say it plays a major role as a conduit for arms from Tehran.
Alongside military planes, there are a number of commercial cargo aircraft that fly from Iran to resupply arms to Hezbollah and other groups. The flights go directly from Iran to Syria, passing through Iraqi airspace.
As well as weapons, hundreds of Shi'ite militia fighters from Iraq and Iran have been flown to Damascus international airport. Intelligence sources put their numbers at 10,000 to 20,000 and say they play a significant role in military campaigns launched by the Syrian army.
Israel has largely kept out the war in Syria, but officials have consistently referred to two red lines that have prompted a military response in the past: any supply of advanced weaponry to Hezbollah, and the establishment of "launch sites" for attacks on Israel from the Golan Heights region.
Speaking in Moscow on Wednesday, where he was attending a security conference, Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman reiterated that Israel "will not allow Iranian and Hezbollah forces to be amassed on the Golan Heights border".
During his visit, Lieberman held talks with Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, as part of efforts by Israel to coordinate with Moscow on actions in Syria and avoid the risk of confrontation.
A statement from the Defence Ministry said Lieberman had expressed concern to the Russian ministers over "Iranian activity in Syria and the Iranian use of Syrian soil as a base for arms smuggling to Hezbollah in Lebanon".

A Western diplomat said the airstrikes sent a clear political message to Iran, effectively saying it could no longer use Iraqi and Syrian airspace to resupply proxies with impunity.

Speaking to Reuters in an interview in Washington on Wednesday, Katz, the intelligence minister, said he was seeking an understanding with the Trump administration that Iran not be allowed to establish a permanent military foothold in Syria.
Israeli officials estimate that Iran commands around 25,000 fighters in Syria, including members of its own Revolutionary Guard, Shi'ite militants from Iraq and recruits from Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Israel has also said that Hezbollah has built up an arsenal of more than 100,000 rockets, many of which would be capable of striking anywhere within Israel's territory. The last conflict between the two left 1,300 people dead and uprooted more than a million Lebanese and 300,000 to 500,000 Israelis. source

CHRISLAM UPDATE: Pope Francis To Visit Egypt In Bid To ‘Pave The Way To Tolerance And Inter-Faith Relations’!!

New post on Now The End Begins

CHRISLAM UPDATE: Pope Francis To Visit Egypt In Bid To ‘Pave The Way To Tolerance And Inter-Faith Relations’

by THE ORACLE.

Pope Francis hopes to mend ties with Muslims on his trip to Egypt on Friday but faces criticism from church conservatives for meeting Islamic religious leaders after a spate of deadly attacks against Christians.

"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3 (KJV)
EDITOR'S NOTE: In an official video released by the Catholic EWTN channel, the Pope's visit to Egypt is being billed as a "message of reconciliation from an ambassador of peace". EWTN goes on to say that Pope Francis "goes to Egypt to pave the way to tolerance and inter-faith relations" in this Muslim majority nation. In a word, it's Chrislam. In another word, it's the One World Religion of Antichrist.
In a video message to the people of Egypt on Tuesday, Francis said the world had been "torn by blind violence, which has also afflicted the heart of the your dear land" and said he hoped his trip could help peace and inter-religious dialogue.
Security is a primary concern less than three weeks after 45 people were killed in attacks on Coptic Christian churches in Alexandria and Tanta, claimed by Islamic State, on Palm Sunday. But Francis has insisted on using an ordinary car during his 27 hours in Cairo, continuing his practice of shunning armored limousines in order to be closer to people.

Chrislam is brought to you via a joint effort between Rick Warren and Pope Francis:

The sheer unmitigated gall and audacity of Emergent Church heretic Rick Warren to claim to be speaking for Christians while he calls Pope Francis "our pope". Christians don't have a Pope, Catholics do. But when your mission is to merge the Laodicean Church with Islam, you need a "pope" somewhere there in the witches brew end times mix.
Francis will meet President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi; Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, the world's most influential center of Sunni Islamic theology and learning; and Pope Tawadros II, head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, who barely escaped the Alexandria bombing. Sisi declared a three-month state of emergency after the attacks.
A main reason for the trip is to try to strengthen relations with the 1,000-year-old Azhar center that were cut by the Muslim side in 2011 over what it said were repeated insults of Islam by Francis's predecessor, Pope Benedict.
Ties with the center were restored last year after Tayeb visited the Vatican. Tayeb, widely seen as one of the most moderate senior clerics in Egypt, has repeatedly condemned Islamic State and its practice of declaring others as apostates and infidels as a pretext for waging violent jihad.

Pope Francis Video Message to Egypt April 25th - 2017

The Vatican says that Francis, who denounces the idea of violence in God's name, is convinced that Christian-Muslim dialogue is more important now than ever.

Papal aides say a moderate like Tayeb would be an important ally in condemning radical Islam.
In Tuesday's message, Francis said he hoped the trip could bring "fraternity and reconciliation to all children of Abraham, particularly in the Islamic world, in which Egypt occupies a primary position" and "offer a valid contribution to inter-religious dialogue with the Islamic world".
The pope's views are not shared by all Catholics, however. Some conservatives say there should be no dialogue with Islam and that a "war of religion" is in progress.
Italian historian Roberto de Mattei said the Palm Sunday attacks should be "a brusque reality check for Pope Francis".

Pope Francis in Egypt

The perpetrators were "not unbalanced or crazy but bearers of a religious vision that has been combating Christianity since the seventh century," De Mattei, editor of the conservative monthly magazine Christian Roots, wrote in an editorial.
Novus Ordo Watch, an ultra-conservative Catholic blog, blasted the Vatican over the logo of the trip, which displays the Muslim crescent and the cross together, and derided the pope as "Mr. Coexist".

A leading Catholic scholar of Islam, Egyptian-born Father Samir Khalil Samir, said that Francis meant well but was naive.

"I think his ignorance of Islam does not help dialogue. He has said often that we know that Islam is a religion of peace but this is simply a mistake," Samir, who is based in Beirut, told reporters in Rome.
"We know there are certainly times of peace and a willingness for peace on the part of many Muslims but I can't read the Koran and pretend that it is a book that is oriented towards peace," he said.
The region has witnessed a massive exodus of Christians fleeing war and persecution in the past few decades, accelerated recently by the rise of Islamic State. Francis said in his message he hoped his visit could be a "consolation and ... encouragement to all Christians in the Middle East".

He will visit Cairo's largest Coptic cathedral to pray for the 28 people killed in a Christmas season blast last year and lay flowers in their memory.

Rights activists are concerned about the pope's meeting with President Sisi.
Sisi has sought to present himself as an indispensable bulwark against terrorism in the region, deflecting Western criticism that he has suppressed political opposition and human rights activists since he was elected in 2014.
Asked if the pope would raise human rights concerns, Vatican spokesman Greg Burke said Francis had made "trips more delicate than this one," adding "let's see what the pope has to say." source

"ARE WE RAPIDLY APPROACHING THE END OF THE AGE"? BY MICHAEL HILE FROM "RAPTURE READY"!!

Featured Article: Are We Rapidly Approaching the End of the Age? - By Michael Hile - http://www.raptureready.com/2017/04/21/the-church-is-a-buffer-2/

Jesus' disciples came to him privately while He sat upon the Mount of Olives and asked Him three questions (Matthew 24:1-3).  One question dealt with the time of the destruction of the temple. The other two questions were concerned with the end of the age. "...What will be the sign of your coming...?" and what will be the sign of "...the end of the age?"  The "end of the age" question was answered by Christ at the beginning of His Olivet discourse.

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:9-14.

"YNET NEWS" FROM ISRAEL WITH AN ARTICLE OF THE TAKE-OVER OF TURKEY BY THE ANTICHRIST FIGURE OF TAYYIP ERDOGAN!!

Greater power, less restraint: Turkey's new constitution lets ErdoÄŸan call the shots

Among other changes, the referendum approved by Turkish citizens on Sunday grants President ErdoÄŸan the power to elect senior members in his administration and the Supreme Court, do away with the prime ministership and allow him to remain in power until 2029.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan won a historic referendum Sunday that will greatly expand the powers of his office, although opposition parties questioned the outcome and said they would challenge the results. With nearly all ballots counted, the "yes" vote stood at 51.41 percent, while the "no" vote was 48.59 percent, according to the state-run Anadolu Agency. The head of Turkey's electoral board confirmed the "yes" victory and said final results would be declared in 11-12 days. Turkey's current constitution was adopted in 1982 after a military coup two years earlier. The new constitution, approved on Sunday, is to include 18 changes that will affect the lives of Turkey's 79 million citizens.

A finger in every judicial, govermental pie
Under the new constitution, the president will have broader powers for direct election to senior appointments in the administration, including ministers. In addition, the president will be able to appoint a number of deputies, and the role of prime minister, who is currently held by a Binali Yıldırım, will be abolished altogether.

The constitutional changes will also bring about a real shake-up in the country's judicial system—which ErdoÄŸan accused of being influenced by the supporters of his former ally and current nemesis Fethullah Gülen, an Islamic cleric living in the United States.

From now on, the President will elect four members of the Supreme Council of Justices and Prosecutors (HSYK)—the council from which judges are appointed in the country and also responsible for removing judges from office when necessary. Parliament will elect seven additional council members. Military courts, which have so far led to the conviction of many officers and had even sentenced former Prime Minister Adnan Menderes to death after a coup in 1960, will be closed and dismantled.

According to the new constitution, in case of an "uprising against the homeland" or "acts of violence that threaten the division of the people," the president himself can impose a prolonged state of emergency on the entire country. The president can enact a state of emergency without further approval from the parliament. Such a state of emergency will up to last six months—in contrast to three months under the existing constitution—and the parliament can then extend the emergency four months at a time, as requested by the president.

Turkey has twice expanded the state of emergency declared after the coup attempt on July 15. The number of members of the Turkish parliament will be increased from 550 to 600, while the minimum age of lawmakers will be changed from 25 to 18. Parliamentary elections will be held every five years—instead of four—and on the day of presidential elections. Parliament will still have the authority to initiate, amend and remove legislation. If the president is charged or suspected of a crime, the parliament will have the authority to request an investigation.

The President must be a Turkish citizen over the age of 40, and may be a member of a political party. According to the current constitution, the president must be "impartial" and without any party affiliation, though ErdoÄŸan's opponents accuse him of total contempt of this article. According to the constitution, ErdoÄŸan will be able to head the AKP party he founded. ErdoÄŸan was elected president in August 2014 after more than a decade as prime minister in the first direct presidential elections in the country. The constitutional amendment stipulates that the next presidential and parliamentary elections will be held simultaneously on November 3, 2019. The victorious president will be given a five-year term and two possible terms. For this reason, ErdoÄŸan could possibly remain in power for two more terms beyond the years he has held until now—and thus will remain in charge of the state until 2029.

A radical change just barely achieved
Although the margin fell short of the sweeping victory ErdoÄŸan had sought in the landmark referendum, it could nevertheless cement his hold on power in Turkey and is expected to have a huge effect on the country's long-term political future and its international relations. The 18 constitutional amendments that will come into effect after the next election, scheduled for 2019, will abolish the office of the prime minister and hand sweeping executive powers to the president.

ErdoÄŸan, who first came to power in 2003 as prime minister, had argued a "Turkish-style" presidential system would bring stability and prosperity to a country rattled by a failed coup last year that left more than 200 people dead, and a series of devastating attacks by ISIS and Kurdish militants.

ErdoÄŸan tells his critics their objections are 'in vain'
In his first remarks from Istanbul after the vote count showed the amendments winning approval, ErdoÄŸan struck a conciliatory tone, thanking all voters no matter how they cast their ballots and calling the referendum a "historic decision." April 16 is the victory of all who said 'yes' or 'no,' of the whole 80 million, of the whole of Turkey," ErdoÄŸan told reporters in a live televised address.

But he quickly reverted to a more abrasive style when addressing thousands of flag-waving supporters in Istanbul. "There are those who are belittling the result. They shouldn't try, it will be in vain," he said. "It's too late now." Responding to chants from the crowd to reinstate the death penalty, ErdoÄŸan said he would take up the issue with the country's political leaders, adding that the question could be put to another referendum if the political leaders could not agree. He also took a dig at international critics. During the referendum campaign, Ankara's relations soured with some European countries, notably Germany and the Netherlands. ErdoÄŸan branded officials in the two nations as Nazis for not allowing his ministers to campaign for the expatriate vote there.

"We want other countries and organizations to show respect to the decision of our people. We expect countries that we accept as our allies to show more sensitivity to our fight against terrorism," he said. Opponents had argued the constitutional changes would give too much power to a man who they say has shown increasingly autocratic tendencies. Opposition parties complained of a number of irregularities in the voting, and were particularly incensed by an electoral board decision announced Sunday afternoon to accept as valid ballots that did not bear the official stamp.

"The Supreme Electoral Board changed rules mid-game, after the ballot envelopes were opened, in a way contrary to laws," said Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, head of the main opposition People's Republican Party. Earlier, the party's vice chairman, Erdal Aksünger, said it would challenge between 37 percent and 60 percent of the ballot boxes and accused Anadolu's results of being inaccurate. But electoral board head Sadi Güven defended the decision. "There is no question of changing the rules in the middle of the game," he said. A pro-Kurdish opposition party that also opposed the constitutional changes said it plans to object to two-thirds of the ballots.

Given the contested outcome, Fadi Hakura, Turkey specialist at the London-based think-tank Chatham House, described ErdoÄŸan's win as a "pyrrhic victory that comes at a huge political cost. The result will depend on how far the opposition will take their claim of irregularity in the voting, and what the international reaction will be."

"ErdoÄŸan has claimed victory, but there are question marks that are being raised," Hakura said. Initial reaction from abroad was cautious. Three top officials for the European Union—EU Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn—said in a joint statement they "take note of the reported results" and were awaiting a report from international election observers.

Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz said the referendum was bound to complicate further cooperation between Ankara and the EU. Kurz said on Twitter the result "shows how divided the country is. Cooperation with #EU will become even more complex." The referendum campaign was highly divisive and heavily one-sided, with the "yes" side dominating the airwaves and billboards. Supporters of the "no" vote have complained of intimidation, including beatings, detentions and threats. "ErdoÄŸan dominated the national media. He imposed a very restrictive environment for the 'no' camp. He secured a thin majority of 1 percent," Hakura said. "This suggests that ErdoÄŸan will become more robust and more challenging to deal with."

More than 55 million people were registered to vote, while another 1.3 million expatriates cast ballots abroad. The ballots themselves did not include the referendum question—it was assumed to be understood. The changes will allow the president to appoint ministers, senior government officials and half the members of Turkey's highest judicial body, as well as to issue decrees and declare states of emergency. They set a limit of two five-year terms for presidents and also allow the president to remain at the helm of a political party.

Opponents fear the changes will lead to autocratic one-man rule, ensuring that the 63-year-old Erdoğan , who has been accused of repressing rights and freedoms, could govern until 2029 with few checks and balances. In Istanbul, hundreds of demonstrators opposed to the amendments marched in a central neighborhood late Sunday, clanging pots and pans and chanting, "This is just the beginning, the struggle will continue." The vote came as Turkey has been buffeted by problems. Erdoğan survived a coup attempt last July, which he has blamed on Gülen, who in turn denied involvement.

A widespread government crackdown has targeted Gülen followers and other government opponents, branding them terrorists. A state of emergency has been imposed. About 100,000 people—including judges, teachers, academics, doctors, journalists, military officials and police—have lost their jobs in the crackdown, and more than 40,000 have been arrested. Hundreds of media outlets and non-governmental organizations have been shut down. Turkey has also suffered renewed violence between Kurdish militants and security forces in the country's volatile southeast, as well as a string of bombings, some attributed to ISIS, which is active across the border in Syria. The war in Syria has led to some 3 million refugees crossing into Turkey. ErdoÄŸan sent troops into Syria to help opposition Syrian forces clear a border area from the threat posed by ISIS militants.
